I have never hated my teeth as much as after going to Dr. Dabboul's office. Last fall I went in for…read morea cleaning and a new patient exam. Dr Dabboul said I didn't have cavities but a few deep spaces in my teeth he wanted to fill before moving forward with anything else. I asked if he would fix a food catch I had, he said yes. I came out with two food catches instead of one. He cratered and changed the shape of my molar, the one I'd asked him to fix. He made my molar shorter and the crater deeper. I have been in constant pain with that tooth since seeing Dr Dabboul. Unable to eat or sleep well. That is until I had a root canal last month. The endodontist said the tooth had been taken down to where it was sitting on the nerve. The only option was the root canal if I wanted relief. The other food catch he made is a crater in a different molar, it will either need a crown or root canal in the near future as well. So in addition to paying for dental services I'm paying out to fix those dental services. If you like your teeth and want to keep them I do not recommend this dentist for services.

When I arrived 5 minutes early for my 3:30pm appointment, the door was locked and no one answered the phone. I called again, and it sent me through to a cellphone of someone driving, saying they were coming back from lunch and would be there shortly. About 10 minutes later, the receptionist and hygienist arrived. I was checked in, brought back for x-rays and then a cleaning. The hygienist was the most aggressive cleaner I have ever experienced. For the first time in my life, I had to stop her and sit up for breaks because of how rough she was being when scraping around my gums. When she was done she ushered me to check out, but I brought to her attention I needed to see the dentist. Also, I could feel I had cavities from old fillings and knew those needed to be addressed. The hygienist told me that the dentist wasn't there that day and didn't need to be at new patient appointments, and that I didn't have cavities just sensitive teeth but she would show my xrays to the dentist later in the week. I decided best to just leave but asked to please hear back from the dentist about the xrays and get a referral to an oral surgeon. I never heard back 3 weeks later but did have to call and reach out to them myself when I received a $450 bill from my insurance saying the dental office never received payment even though I had a $0 copay that day. I reached out to that facility and was told they forgot to tell me that the dentist said my teeth look great, and would send a oral surgeon referral soon, and that I did not owe anything that they had no idea where the claim on the bill came from. I had them send a statement saying I owed $0 in writing that I was able to send to my insurance. And I never received my referral either. Worst dental experience I've ever had. 100% feels like a scam and I hope the office closes down soon if they haven't already.

They play great music and it really puts you at ease as they kind of hum along. If they had a website to pay the balance it would not be an issue. I don't give out my credit card info over the phone. Regardless that should not be a prerequisite for sending something that has already been paid for by my insurance.

I had been fitted with a temporary "flipper" for four months while the bone healed, but it had become uncomfortable to eat with, so as I was in Texas, I made an appointment with Dr. Crumpton to have it adjusted. On the way there, I took a phone call, the flipper became loose so I set it on my car dashboard, and--disaster!--it took a joy ride down into the air vent, never to be seen again without dismantling the whole dashboard of my car. Dr. Crumpton's staff were wonderfully kind and patient, his dental assistant even coming outside to help me look for it. Even though this implant procedure was not being done by them, Dr. Crumpton immediately stepped in to help. Knowing I was leaving for London the following week and couldn't possibly go with a front tooth missing, he arranged to get me fitted the very next day, at a very reasonable price, and without ever making me feel foolish for what had happened. Thanks to their professionalism, kindness, and generosity, my new temporary tooth will be ready next week--just in time for my flight. I logged in early Sunday morning and had 5 time slots to choose from for the emergency appointment, to include the very first of the morning! The Process: (For those of you who want to know what you're walking into, are on the fence about going back to the dentist after bad situations, or are a bored voyeur looking for a glimpse of a random Yelper's experience.) I entered into a very clean, comfortable, and welcoming waiting room I was promptly greeted by the receptionist, Crystal, and the office manager, Kelly. Crystal handed me the new patient forms. Kelly, Crystal and I chatted while I filled out the paperwork. They treated me more like a family member than just a client. Denise took me to the room and I put down my belongings. She lead me to a state of the art x-ray machine and took the first set of x-rays. Another set of x-rays were taken. She offered me water before the doctor came in. She, too, was very friendly and was good conversation. Dr. Haghi came in and we discussed the results of the treatment options and settled on a treatment plan. She listened to my concerns and didn't (like every dentist I've been to before) talk down to me or demand I do what she said because she was the expert. Crystal came back and discussed my treatment plan and the associated costs. She explained that I could apply for CareCredit (if my credit was good enough) and we discussed the different ways the payments could be broken up. I needed a deep cleaning and she allowed me to choose whether or not to break it up into two appointments or get it over with in one. I was grateful to have the option to get it over with in one pop. Denise came in and put a small mask over my nose to administer the nitrous oxide and gave me a blanket. (I don't care how old I get; if you offer me the comfort of a blanket, I will take it!) Kevin, the hygienist, was very attentive during the deep cleaning and was very careful not to hurt me. He allowed me breaks for enough time to cough (I'm a mouth breather who clearly thinks I'm part fish and that I'll do okay aspirating water. That folks, is 100% my fault and 0% Kevin's fault.) After the cleaning, he took more x-rays and showed me that he actually did get all the gunk out from under the gum line. He scheduled me for my free one month follow up, gave me my "goody bag" of dental items, educated me on how to better maintain my mouth at home, and suggested products that are conveniently sold there at the office for a very fair price. I opted to get a tooth extracted. Denise assisted Dr. Haghi in the process. I think the shots to help numb the area were worse than getting the tooth pulled. The tooth extraction took about five minutes. The doctor consulted me on what I normally take for pain; wrote a prescription for mouthwash, antibiotics, and my pain medication. Denise administered oxygen for five and I chilled out to the streaming music in the office. I went up front and paid. My ride hadn't gotten there. So I had a chat with Crystal and Kelly until my ride showed.
