Often prescribing a medication and sending her on her way. She needed someone to put all of the pieces together to form a PLAN, rather than looking at just one concern. She also wanted someone that would take their time at appointments and listen to her rather than quickly diagnose and send her out the door. We found all of these wish items with Dr. Amador. He is patient, caring, an active listener and has wide range of knowledge and experience. We are lucky to have found him and all of the wonderful staff at his office. No email, no phone call, no contact through either of their "online" portal systems. Sent me to collections for $60 without ever contacting me or my wife. I've never been sent to collections before in my life and since my credit doesn't matter anymore, I will not be paying it. I think they should be sued for turning people over to collections without notification, especially when they take my credit card every time I walk in the door! So it's my fault you charged my credit card, but not for the correct amount? I will never be going back and based on all the stellar 1* reviews here, I've learned my lesson to now check first. *FYI: if anyone is planning on suing and wants to it to be a class action, feel free to contact me.

Dr. Morel vouched for my relative sanity and a neurologist finally ended up diagnosing me with a rare hereditary condition that can cause adrenaline secreting tumors, and I evidently have one. Well not all urgent care facilities are created equal because we found out this is the best AFC location! When you don't have a local doctor or you need one after hours, this is the go to! We first showed up as an emergency appointment at another location but then we did a check up on a return visit at this Lakewood location. And guess what? What started out as a small fracture diagnosis but we found out by the staff at this location it was one of two fractures! They really pay attention to details and we are so grateful and will make this our new urgent care favorite facility for future needs. They do have a X-ray machine and a technician that will read the results. You can get in and out without waiting up all night at a typical hospital ER. Win, Win for everyone!
