Nicole has been our hygienist for most of the time we have been going to Allendale Dental. I was told they accepted our insurance and was reassured that we had good coverage. I was never told the dentist was out of network. Had I known, I would have gone to our regular in-network dentist. I also wasn't told how much the treatment would cost beforehand. I only learned the amount after my son's teeth had already been removed. It was a huge unexpected expense for our family. Later, the office confirmed in writing that they are out of network. I wish they had simply told me that before the appointment. It would have saved us a lot of money and frustration.
