My son had an emergency two weeks ago when his front tooth chipped. This office took him in, fixed it in less than five minutes, and then pressured me to switch our family of three to their practice, claiming they were faster and more convenient. BIG MISTAKE! Fast forward to today, and the "quick fix" they did completely failed--my son's tooth chipped AGAIN while eating a donut. I called to book an appointment, and he drove an hour and a half from college for his scheduled visit at 11:00 am, only to be told that his appointment was supposedly for Wednesday (it was Monday). When he politely asked if the doctor could see him that day at any time, the receptionist rudely snapped, "NO." I got on the phone myself, explained the urgency, and how he needed to return to school that same day. The receptionist was beyond rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. She kept repeating, "The doctor is busy," and refused to even explain the situation to the doctor. I begged for a solution, but all she offered was to "write my number down" in case of a cancellation, which was useless and delivered in the nastiest tone imaginable. This office does NOT care about their patients or the quality of their work. Their so-called repair didn't even last two weeks, and their customer service is an absolute disgrace. I wish I had read reviews before switching because this place is an unprofessional nightmare. Luckily, I called my previous dentist, explained the situation, and they immediately took care of my son without hesitation. I also reported this horrible experience to my insurance so they won't be getting another dime from us. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY--AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Dr. Shyong and his staff definitely made the whole process easier. Now at their new and modern location, my main reason to visit is for a teeth cleaning (and a talk about flossing more). The office is very clean, with a larger waiting area (which I rarely have to wait long in). There is a bathroom next to the waiting area, for last minute brushing of the teeth. Their private rooms have a tv on the wall for your viewing pleasure. Even the equipment got an upgrade and is technically advanced. But despite all of the many upgrades from when I was a kid, their kindness and respect has always remained the same. And it's always nice when you are greeted by some of the same familiar faces year after year! In the market for a new dentist? New to the area? Try Dr. Shyong, your teeth will thank you

On 11/14/23 the receptionist left a voicemail to discuss payment prior to my visit. When I called back I was informed by the receptionist that because I was seeing Dr. Cho for a "syndrome", Dr. Cho told the receptionist I would be denied in network benefits and I would be required to pay $350 for an initial consultation. I confirmed with the receptionist that patients who did not see Dr. Cho for a "syndrome" would be entitled to in network benefits. I was told that Dr. Cho would keep my appointment for 11/28/23 if I paid $350 in cash instead of affording me the ability to use my in network benefits. I will be reporting Dr. Cho to my insurance company and to the Attorney General's office. It is stressful enough to have a rare condition and a "syndrome". Dr. Cho could have easily stated that he does not treat my condition of Ernest Syndrome. However, he chose to still see me and take advantage of a patient trying to get out of pain for $350.

I've had a lot of dental work in the past, but Dr. Lebel is the first dentist I've encountered who actually explains what he's doing and why he recommends it. He also answers my many questions, ranging from typical dental care to social media trends. Since I started seeing Dr. Lebel, I've significantly changed my dental hygiene habits. I strongly expressed to him why I don't like flossing (raise your hand if you like bleeding gums) and he recommended that I begin using a water flosser. Boy has it changed things! I think it's the gateway to using traditional floss. FYI He's still trying to get me to use traditional floss. As for fillings, Dr. Lebel is extremely gentle and meticulous. He keeps up with the latest dental research and prides himself on creating long-lasting dental fillings. He was able to explain to me how some of my previous dental work, and the lack of precautions those dentist took, was causing me problems now. When placing fillings, he injects the anesthetic slowly, and you barely feel anything. Something else worth noting is the dental material he uses. Dr. Lebel uses high quality fillings that reduce the likelihood of air bubble formation and snugly fill the previously plaque-afflicted area. He's also just a cool guy.
