We had an occasion to use this company and all I can say is that they are terrific. They came as promised, reviewed what I thought was an issue, explained all to me ( there wasn't any issue) and said goodbye to the service guy who's name escapes be but was so nice. There's not a whole lot more to say other than I liked the service guy, I liked their dispatcher, and if and when I need help with my heater , they will get the first call. read more

I used this company in March. The plumber came by and the next day I had the same problem again. The problem somewhat subsided and would come back here and there but then I got fed up and called them to tell them it's not resolved and they said he should have done a camera view not a snake and I would be charged for them to come back out. If I paid you to solve the problem and you didn't solve the problem why would I pay you again? Bad business. Ineffective resolution to my problem and more expensive than the competitors. Free consultation and he tried to charge me for a diagnostic. I tell him I am not paying for it and instead of being courteous. He just leaves. The diagnostic was basically telling me information I already know. I wanted a quote on how much it would cost. He should have had a disclaimer before releasing this information "I will charge you". Also a test could of been done over the phone to validate the color of water with LED light. Update: I got sent a "THIS IS AN ESTIMATE, NOT A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES" for the diagnostic. Tech showed up and quoted 2 washer box installs at $2400.00 total for both I signed and agreed to the price. Wall was cut open so he could clearly see what was involved with the job. Installed 1st washer box with zero issues and when he returned a few weeks later to install the 2nd washer box he raised the price to $2400.00 for just the 2nd box alone. I confirmed pricing the day before with the office and then the day of when I questioned the tech and spoke to the manager he was rude and belittled me asking if I read the "fine print". I have never felt so disrespected before in my life. This company is the pure definition of the bait and switch. I would NEVER refer or recommend them under any situation. If I could leave ZERO stars I would. BUYER BEWARE. UPDATE Job was performed by Mainline Plumbing for $650 which is HALF of what I paid for the original job with NO attitude and BS. Also wanted to add that when John The Plumber performed the first install they took it upon themselves to use another contractors vacuum which was damaged and had to be replaced. 1/11/25 We needed to replace a Moen Tub/shower cartridge. Shane Evans came out on 1/09/25 and replaced the cartridge. There was a glitch, in that it started dripping. Shane had to get another part. He came back on 1/11/25 and replaced the cartridge, and corrected the problem. Shane was not deterred and, although presented with a slight setback, he handled it like a Pro. I came home to find my guest bathroom floor flooded and my rugs soaked. It appeared that the water came up from my sink drain. Strange but it was the only way and my sink bowl was full of water and would not drain out. So, what to do? My answer was to Yelp for help, which to my delight is how I found a near 5 Yelp Star plumber, John the Plumber. I phoned them and a very friendly woman answered my call and was able to set me up with a service call the next day. Then, prior to noon the next day she contacted me back to tell me a plumber was on his way to see me, Hooray! Moments later there was a knock on my door and a very pleasant young man introduced himself as Joe, the Plumber from John the Plumber. As was I, he too was rather baffled as to how this could have happened but immediately got to work correcting the problem by snaking my drain with a rooter. He went down about 22 feet and we both sort of held our breath and prayed. When he put the drain pipes back together Yip Yip Yippee! Success! It worked! I found this plumbing company via Yelp and then redirected myself to google just to reconfirm the reviews... I am so happy I found this plumbing company. When I first called them for information on estimates and appointments Diane helped me and she was so very pleasant and informative. I made the appointment for the following Monday and I received a text message telling me that they were on their way and I also got an email telling me the same. Joe showed up, he was extremely sweet and very tidy. Got the job done in a timely manner and I was very happy with the work and price. Called and scheduled an appointment. They came two hours early as I had a minor clog in the line. They quoted a price extremely high which I felt was about 2-3 times what it should have been. (Quoted $750ish) When I explained that he said "well we can lower a couple hundred dollars, what would you like to pay" That was disturbing to me, all I was looking for was a basic line clearing at a fair price. The technicians, I was told by the manager, SIGN INVOICES FOR YOU AS THE CLIENT, which you never see until the invoice is generated by them and expect payment for that invoice, DUPLICATE INVOICE NUMBERS, ADD SCOPE OF WORK TO THE SAME INVOICE NUMBER BUT USE DIFFERENT "Verbal Agreement" initials, and SEND ADDITIONAL INVOICES ALMOST A MONTH AFTER LEAVING THE SERVICE CALL! (see pictures attached) The verbiage written by John The Plumber, state "My signature here signifies my full and final acceptance of all work performed by the contractor." The technician signs as "VA" for Verbal Agreement which the client never sees! John The Plumber, uses same invoice numbers to bill you as they tried doing to us, 27 days AFTER the fact of the ORIGINIAL invoice showing, balance due- $0.00. Same invoice number except now there's more work, a "discount" for extra work and a balance outstanding. Pablo Fernandez, came out and misdiagnosed the issue and charged for the work which we happily paid because for 5 minutes we thought it was fixed since he was the "expert". As soon as dispatch is calling for feedback, the main water gets turned on and water is going everywhere! I tell dispatch that the tech needs to come back out, so he does. THIS TIME, the tech actually looks for the problem and diagnosis it and within 20 min is in and out. My partner gave a $100 tip because Pablo didn't ask for extra payment since he did not fix the original issue/service call. Why would we give a large tip and then put another check in the mail??? Pablo tries to says, my partner only had one check with him, so as I said on the phone, why didn't you ask for a debit card that he carries with him? 27 days later, we get a bill with the SAME invoice number that was paid in full, except now has a balance charge of $250 with two more falsified signatures as "VA" and additional work. First invoice was on 2/10/23 the date of work and now 3/9/23. Ironically, only one survey was sent on 2/10/23 after the completion of the work invoice that shows no balance(picture attached). I waited a week to hear from the technician and Accounting Department which never got back to me, so I called again and spoke to the manager, who said she would get back to me the next day and never did. I gave her a call near the end of the day to resolve this issue and receptionist sent me to Accounting which clearly, had a "game plan" going on and sent me to voicemail. I gave the benefit to not write this review as I was hoping this could of been taking care of internally. Next morning, Pablo calls me and then was put on speaker without my consent for Carrie (manager) to listen in, only to tell me, she would get back to me "tomorrow" and make a decision then because today was her day off, but came in for this issue, that she was still not capable of resolving today? The office staff Nailene and Missy (sorry for spelling errors) were so polite and friendly. They got me on the schedule right away. They contacted me several times to confirm my appointment and let me know a technician was on the way. Lin Deveau was my plumber and I am extremely impressed with his work. Our toilet would not drain. I was out of town, my wife called this company. The plumber did more damage than fixing the drainage issue. Not only did the plumber not fix the issue, he damaged our bathroom walls and my driveway with whatever mammoth of a snake he was using. 1 captured this on video. I called over the weekend and they never called me back because there was miscommunication and they never put me on the schedule. We cleared it up and they came there next day. It was a quick fix. I had a flood in a new condo I bought. Leaking into the unit downstairs. Called and was told there is no charge for coming out. The plumber arrives and has me sign $599 minimum and will apply the first $200 to the $599. I was shocked at the price but what could I do? I was stuck and desperate. So I signed. He looks under the sink and says "you have a leak." The office calls the next day to ask how everything went. I asked why did you tell me no charge for coming out when it's a $599 minimum? She said I should've just said no. I explained again that I was stuck but she was unsympathetic. It did not cost $599 to look under the sink and "cap off" the leak. I had him drill the other side of the wall looking for a bigger leak since he was charging me $599. But nothing there. Simple little leak that could've been prevented with a bucket. At one point I was over charged and they were able to refund me as well. Truly customer service at its best. This company really works hard to make sure their customers are satisfied with the job and overall treatment. I will most definitely be using this company again for any future plumbing work needed.
