    Thank you to Allen for making a wrong a right. Please stop with the AI text and nonhuman communication. It took a moment, but I realized we weren't dealing with real people. This is the reason why a botched appointment made me upset on New Year's Eve. Allen came out on New Year's Day to fix a much needed kitchen faucet. Buyer beware, it's expensive if you call for anything after 5pm or on a holiday.

    Worst Experience Ever - Do Not Recommend On Friday, September 12th, I contacted Paradise Plumbing, Air & Electric regarding a leak coming from my ceiling. They scheduled me promptly with a technician, Fernando B., for the next day. Fernando did a great job diagnosing the issue and informed me that I needed new ductwork throughout my home. He assured me that he had scheduled an appointment for Monday, September 15th, with "Mike," who was supposedly the best person to take proper measurements and provide a detailed quote. When Monday came, no one showed up. I called the office and was told they had no record of the appointment. They then offered to send someone else, but because I had a doctor's appointment that day, I rescheduled for Tuesday with the original "Mike." On Tuesday, a completely different person, Fernando D., showed up, spent less than five minutes in my home, and then left. About an hour later, I received a quote from him. My wife and I agreed to the quote and immediately paid half the cost upfront. We were told that the installation crew would arrive Thursday, September 18th, and finish by Friday, September 19th. Both my wife and I took time off work to accommodate this. When the crew (Daniel N. and two others) arrived Thursday, they were already upset, complaining that they had to do their work plus the work Fernando D. had failed to complete. They also said they had no materials with them. After only 15 minutes in the attic, they went outside. Sensing something was wrong, I used my phone's camera app to listen in. What I heard was extremely unprofessional and frankly insulting. Among their comments: "I don't want to do this. I told the company I only want to do new installs, not this." "They look like they have money. Look at all the tools in the garage, and it looks like his wife works from home. I know they have money, they need to pay more." "It looks like they don't have kids too." "This company is messed up. They used to pay hourly but changed it before I got here. They need to pay us more." Shocked, I called the company immediately. Instead of apologizing or trying to make things right, they told me they would "talk to the crew," but then informed me my price would be raised by $2,500 because Fernando D. had not given me an accurate quote. When I asked if they would at least honor the original price or meet me halfway, I was told the owner would not help in any way, other than offering me "credit for another job." At that point, I demanded a full refund. This entire experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and offensive. Not only was my time wasted and my trust violated, but the company attempted to take advantage of me financially after I had already paid a large deposit. My wife and I are extremely disappointed and saddened by their total lack of accountability. We will never do business with Paradise Plumbing, Air & Electric again, and I strongly caution others against doing so.

    The handle fell off our shower

    This morning the handle broke off our shower. We tried snapping it back on, and it did not stay. A friend, a neighbor recommended Paradise and I called in the morning. Kevin came before noon and assessed the damage. He told us that the job will cost $700, if he hast to replace the valve it will be $1500. I should've been a plumber! Kevin said that these things go and that it's normal home maintenance, most people have leaks first. Kevin was personable and competent. He gave us his card and asked for a review. I'm impressed that he came the same day that he was called and did the repair. It was really nice taking a shower this evening.

    When I was showering this morning, the handle to turn it on and off came off when I turned it off. We called Paradise Plumbing & Air Conditioning and they said they would be over between 12-4. Kevin came over at 5 to 12. He spent over 2 hours as it wasn't a simple handle replacement. He showed us that the thing that the handle was broken as well and would need to be replaced. 2 1/2 hours later, it was fixed and the shower is back in use. He mentioned that if the valve needed to be replaced it would be double the $730 that it would cost us. Fortunately the valve didn't need to be replaced. We found Kevin to be personable and competent. Also glad that he was here about 2 1/2 hours after we called.

    I have used 4 Star Plumbing several times for other issues. This time I had a shower back up and…read more toilet overflowing/bubbling. I called 4 Star Plumbing around 1:30 pm and by 2:20 p.m. they had someone at my house. Derek was very nice and I felt horrible for him to climb the roof in this heat. Word of advice: ask for the price ahead of time so you don't have a sticker shock. It cost $500 to snake two pipes they... the cost is the same for one or two or three pipes if they have to get on your roof that's the cost. If you know where your cleanout is it is slightly cheaper. Derek asked me where they sneaked it last time and I told him that they came down the roof. The entire process took about an hour Derek took his time, ran the water, snaked again, Etc. I also asked them for an estimate for a water heater and replacement of cast iron pipes. Besides the sticker shock, I was very impressed by their services! Quick and efficient with no extra fees to come out...one sticker price. Let's face it everything is more expensive now so since they came out so quickly I feel it was worth the money. If you want to shop around... maybe this service would have been cheaper with another company. I've never had a bad experience with 4 Star Plumbing so I highly recommend them for any job.

    I hired 4 Star Plumbing after both units of my duplex experienced a sewer backup. I paid over…read more$3,100 for sewer work that included clearing the line, installing a cleanout, and hydro-jetting. Despite that work, the problems continued and I experienced additional backups within weeks. I ultimately hired another licensed plumbing company to investigate further. Their camera inspection and subsequent excavation found significant issues beneath the home, including approximately 10-15 feet of improperly pitched sewer line that required correction during a complete under-slab sewer replacement. As a homeowner, I relied on 4 Star's expertise to properly diagnose and resolve the issue. Instead, I spent thousands of dollars, suffered water damage, disrupted my tenants, and ultimately had to move forward with a major sewer replacement project through another contractor. What disappointed me most was the lack of accountability when I raised my concerns. I understand that underground plumbing issues can be complex, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend 4 Star Plumbing. I would strongly encourage homeowners to obtain multiple inspections and opinions before proceeding with expensive sewer repairs.
