What started as a monthlong nagging mess of stress ended with festivities and peace of mind thanks to Joey Blondet from Paradise Plumbing.   My 1970's shower handle was not pushing or pulling to release or stop the dripping water. A contractor initially told me that this will be a $3000 repair job requiring a hole cut out in the kitchen wall to get into the back innards of the shower. Otherwise, he would have to destroy the shower paneling.   Second opinion time. Enter Paradise Plumbing with their solid technical expertise. The cartridge just needed to be replaced and Joey fixed it quickly within 30 minutes. My shower also had an incompatible shower trim kit in which the fitting was awkwardly forced together. Though they did not have the trim kit part, he pointed me in the right direction to get the missing component overnighted to me. Easy install.   Altogether, this was less than $500 vs. the initial $3000 which was drilling in my head. Cheers to Paradise Plumbing. This review should be 5 stars. They came to fix a sink that was Jerry rigged and needed repairing. They showed up on time. They fixed the problem quickly. The tech was professional and friendly. He cleaned up after himself. He charged me the same as his estimate. So why 4 stars? They use an AI agent scheduler. The AI texted me conflicting info the morning of my appointment. It made me think that my appointment would be delayed or canceled. It wasted my time by impersonating a real human who could be reasoned with. I texted it back, arguing with an AI agent about it. It stressed me out when I absolutely did not need that unnecessary aggravation. Turns out the AI hallucinated the delay. The extra stress was completely unnecessary. Get a person to communicate with customers, please. Texting with an AI impersonating a human is undignified at best, insulting at worst. It feels like deception and disdain. This should be 5 stars. I purchased a new condo, and the one thing I wanted was a bidet, which it didn't have. However, rather than put in a whole bedit, I decided upon getting one of the new toilet seat bedits which are available through the Internet. After I obtained one, the directions said "Easy self installation-20 minutes." Baloney! I've seen such before and it's never proved true; at least not for me. So, a quick search of Yelp and I gave Paradise Plumbing, AC, and Electrical Services a call. The clerk I spoke with knew what I. was talking about and sent someone out right away, the very next morning. I wasn't impressed with them, and ended up asking them to leave. Then to my surprise, the Paradise manager phoned me, returned my destination fee and offered to send a more knowledgeable plumber out and at a better price, which he did. Had an excellent experience today with Paradise Plumbing and our technician, Shivaughn. He was originally scheduled to come between 2pm and 6pm, but paradise called to see if we wanted him to come earlier. That worked out well with my schedule, and he was at our place about 30 minutes later. He was very kind, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job replacing 2 valves and our faucet in the kitchen. He truly went above and beyond and we are really happy with how everything turned out. I appreciate him asking questions about my preference for certain things before he did the work. He is very skilled and thorough, and we are very happy with the service. So far everything is working great! They had a leak from a p trap in the wall from the washer, charged $300 to cut a piece of drywall and see there was a leak just to be able to give an estimate, took about 15 minutes. then tried to charge my mother $5850 to replace p trap and drywall the wall said it could be done in a couple hours. luckily they said no because it was a complete ripoff the tech called the owner of paradise and he said they could do it for $4250. these people are predators to the elder and complete scumbags.. read more

Called on June 30 to get someone out after a power surge and spoke with the call center and even authorized after hours if needed for same-day service. NO ONE SHOWED OR CALLED, and even called back and then got the office. She found the call and even forwarded it to Matt Rich, the owner, to call me back. - NO Call. She also set up for 8 am on July 1. On July 1 at 7:35, I called, and a text was sent, but none was received; however, I was told the driver was being dispatched then. At 9:22, I called back, gave about 1 hour 45 minutes plus or minus, reached the answering service, and was told she would send the message to get a callback. Waited 50 minutes, then called back at 10:10 and canceled the service call. Hired another company that, by 10:15, sent me a text saying a service rep would arrive by 11 and that no extra fee would be charged. Keep in mind I had just purchased a service plan within the last 2 weeks and gave this company 5 stars. Now I have to give a 1-star rating for total lack of customer service and zero follow-up. read more

Worst Experience Ever - Do Not Recommend On Friday, September 12th, I contacted Paradise Plumbing, Air & Electric regarding a leak coming from my ceiling. They scheduled me promptly with a technician, Fernando B., for the next day. Fernando did a great job diagnosing the issue and informed me that I needed new ductwork throughout my home. He assured me that he had scheduled an appointment for Monday, September 15th, with "Mike," who was supposedly the best person to take proper measurements and provide a detailed quote. When Monday came, no one showed up. I called the office and was told they had no record of the appointment. They then offered to send someone else, but because I had a doctor's appointment that day, I rescheduled for Tuesday with the original "Mike." On Tuesday, a completely different person, Fernando D., showed up, spent less than five minutes in my home, and then left. About an hour later, I received a quote from him. My wife and I agreed to the quote and immediately paid half the cost upfront. We were told that the installation crew would arrive Thursday, September 18th, and finish by Friday, September 19th. Both my wife and I took time off work to accommodate this. When the crew (Daniel N. and two others) arrived Thursday, they were already upset, complaining that they had to do their work plus the work Fernando D. had failed to complete. They also said they had no materials with them. After only 15 minutes in the attic, they went outside. Sensing something was wrong, I used my phone's camera app to listen in. What I heard was extremely unprofessional and frankly insulting. Among their comments: "I don't want to do this. I told the company I only want to do new installs, not this." "They look like they have money. Look at all the tools in the garage, and it looks like his wife works from home. I know they have money, they need to pay more." "It looks like they don't have kids too." "This company is messed up. They used to pay hourly but changed it before I got here. They need to pay us more." Shocked, I called the company immediately. Instead of apologizing or trying to make things right, they told me they would "talk to the crew," but then informed me my price would be raised by $2,500 because Fernando D. had not given me an accurate quote. When I asked if they would at least honor the original price or meet me halfway, I was told the owner would not help in any way, other than offering me "credit for another job." At that point, I demanded a full refund. This entire experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and offensive. Not only was my time wasted and my trust violated, but the company attempted to take advantage of me financially after I had already paid a large deposit. My wife and I are extremely disappointed and saddened by their total lack of accountability. Still, she scheduled someone to come by for an evaluation the following day. They rescheduled me twice, but that was only a minor inconvenience. The bigger issue was that the person who finally came to do the estimate also hadn't heard of an ERV system and needed to have me explain what it was and what it did! I did so, and he left promising me a quote the next day, but I never heard from them again. Had a good experience with the company. My AC was having issues. Fernando came and checked out my unit. He is very professional, efficient, and explained what he was testing for. He was very thorough and determined I had a leak in my unit. My AC system is old and it was cost effective to replace the unit. They provided selections that would work best for me (inside unit is in a closet above a water heater) and made a decision. The install team came out the following morning and were professional and efficient with the install. Had an issue with the unit shortly after the install. The company sent a technician the same day to check it out. I got lucky and Fernando knocked on my door. He quickly identified the issue and made some adjustments. When the technician arrived, he immediately helped himself to candy from a jar in my living room without asking. While I likely would have said yes, it set an unprofessional tone right from the start. He diagnosed the issue with my AC unit quickly but stated the part wouldn't be available until Monday. I work overnight shifts and sleep during the day. When Monday came, I woke up close to 11 a.m. to find I had received no call or update. I had to reach out myself and was routed to a call center, not the local office. I was told my message would be passed along. Eventually, Paradise called back and quoted me nearly $2,000 for the repair. I then contacted a smaller, local AC company that my neighbors recommended. The owner answered the phone personally. Using Paradise's own diagnosis, he quoted $700 total, including labor, for the exact same repair. Paradise charged $94 just to look at the unit, never touching it, and ultimately offered a price that was nearly triple what a reputable local company charged. While their response time was fast, the pricing felt excessive and impersonal. I strongly recommend sticking with smaller, locally owned AC companies. You're more likely to get honest pricing, direct communication, and a business that actually values its customers -- not one focused on upselling and inflated quotes read more

This morning the handle broke off our shower. We tried snapping it back on, and it did not stay. A friend, a neighbor recommended Paradise and I called in the morning. Kevin came before noon and assessed the damage. He told us that the job will cost $700, if he hast to replace the valve it will be $1500. I should've been a plumber! Kevin said that these things go and that it's normal home maintenance, most people have leaks first. Kevin was personable and competent. He gave us his card and asked for a review. I'm impressed that he came the same day that he was called and did the repair. It was really nice taking a shower this evening. read more

My AC isn't working. It's 83 degrees in the house and everyone's uncomfortable. And Paradise didn't show for their appointment today. Our AC went out Friday afternoon. I called up Paradise, who has been my primary go to for AC and plumbing jobs over the past few years. They told me they didn't have any regular appointments but they could schedule me for after hours service for an additional fee, which I agreed to. The appointment was made for 6 to 10pm and I had a card on file, so everything was set. We actually had plans to meet family, but we canceled in order to meet the technician. So we waited and waited and nobody showed or contacted us. We reached out to them twice. The first time we called were told that they didn't have an ETA because it was after hours, but not to worry because the technician was going to arrive. Then when we got closer to 10pm, we called and were told that the appointment was accidentally not given to the technician and it got "lost in outer space". They also said the technician would not come out, despite our appointment and them having a same day service guarantee and offering 24/7 service on their website. At 10pm, after acknowledging their screw up, they're basically like "see ya, good luck sweating it out". What happened to the same day service guarantee and the 24/7 service? What's really most irritating as I sit in my super hot and humid house is; thinking about all of the companies I bypassed in order to go with Paradise. My AC could have easily been up and running had I called someone else, and there are plenty of quality companies to choose from. Company loyalty got me this time but it won't get me again. I also want to add that Paradise also rubbed me the wrong way on my last appointment. They charged me over $400 to flush a drain line which is completely unreasonable. Also, I recently got a few quotes to replace ductwork and their price was the highest, by far, compared to all other providers. Anyway, I absolutely do not recommend Paradise any longer. I don't know if there has been an ownership change or what, but the service is not what it used to be and the pricing is really high. When I was showering this morning, the handle to turn it on and off came off when I turned it off. We called Paradise Plumbing & Air Conditioning and they said they would be over between 12-4. Kevin came over at 5 to 12. He spent over 2 hours as it wasn't a simple handle replacement. He showed us that the thing that the handle was broken as well and would need to be replaced. 2 1/2 hours later, it was fixed and the shower is back in use. He mentioned that if the valve needed to be replaced it would be double the $730 that it would cost us. Fortunately the valve didn't need to be replaced. We found Kevin to be personable and competent. Also glad that he was here about 2 1/2 hours after we called. read more

Quoted me $1,400 to clean an AC coil located in the garage. Last AC company that cleaned it for me did it for around $650. They magically dropped the price to $975 so I wouldn't go with another company, but another company quoted me less. Nonetheless, the still charged me a fee to come give me an estimate. I'm never asking an AC company to come give me an estimate if they charge. They are just trying to avoid you shopping around for better prices. I wanted to wait a couple of months to ensure smooth operation of my new AC before leaving this review. In the peak temperatures of FL summer my old AC finally kicked the bucket, and I had several different technicians all from different companies, big and small owned, come out and have a look. My first impression of Paradise was a very nice lady on the phone who's name I have forgotten, but I immediately had a great feeling about the company. Jeff Perry was the assigned technician to come have a first look at my AC and after seeing him work and talking with him I pretty much knew I was gonna go with Paradise to get my old 2013 unit replaced. Mark was then assigned to come give me a quote for a new AC and he was very informative and really went above and beyond in making sure I was satisfied with their services, which gave me the assurance that I could make a well informed decision. Finally, Anthony and Daniel were the technicians who performed the installation of the new unit, and I really could not be more pleased with the quality of the work. I'm the type of person who really prefers to do it himself because that tends to be the only way to get things done correctly, but when it comes to installing a new AC, unless you're a professional, you have to leave it up to someone else. I don't recall another time in my life that I felt so assured that the job was being done perfectly. I watched Anthony perform the entire install and he truly is a master of his craft and such a nice guy. I didn't watch Daniel so closely as he was working on the outdoor unit but he is also a great person and I have no doubts his work is great as that seems to be a trend with Paradise as a whole and my AC is working great. Also Marlon was the assigned electrician, and although I didn't end up pulling the trigger on a new panel, I know I'll be calling Paradise for electrical work should I need any done. We have used Paradise Plumbing since 2009. We bought our home in Weston and Paradise did all the plumbing redoing all 2 of our three bathrooms and partly on the master. Since then for every plumbing need we have used them....17 years. Well in February we needed or at least I was told we needed to replace our 8 year old tankless water heater which Paradise provided and installed. We did this at a cost of 3000 dollars which I thought was high but agreed to it anyway due to my trust in Paradise. Last month May 2026, we noticed the water was not getting that hot. We called Paradise and the plumber who was the one who installed the new tankless heater in February for 3k came out. After fiddling around for 3 hours, he told me the problem was in our main shower and he would need to demo the shower in order to locate the problem. He told us we needed a new fixture and he would get back to me with the cost. Before he left that day one thing he did in this shower was open the main valve and he closed the hot water in the fixture valve. This returned the water to hot. He called me a few days later with a quote of $5500. I found this outrageous and even if not, when I am spending this much money, I want a second opinion. I called Air Around The Clock who services our AC and is now doing plumbing. Their guy came out and all that was needed was a new valve. The entire problem was solved for $350. I called Paradise and voiced a complaint. I was told I would get a call back from the managerand after 2 weeks crickets. No idea what has happened to Paradise but they are not a business I want to deal with any longer. It seems they are out to get the consumer with unscrupulous practices. As a long time trusting customer, I feel 100% betrayed. I waited for 2 weeks before writing this review trying to give them a chance to call me back which I now know they have zero intentions of doing. Beware of Paradise. I was a trusting 17 year customer and look what they tried to do to me. Shame on you Paradise. read more

Awful. When this company was hired to fix a plumbing issue that we had, I thought it would be one guy comes in, sees what's wrong and takes care of every little detail that might affect the issue. I thought it would be a diligent, thorough, knowledgeable and professional plumbing expert. I was wrong. I had about 7 different "plumbers" come in within a span of 7 days. Each one would do below the bare minimum, IGNORING all the shoddy work that the previous "plumber" from their company did, and all while not addressing the issue. Now you may ask yourself "what the hell does she know about plumbing and how does she know what they were doing was shoddy work?". I can tell you that I am not a plumber but the "work" they did was such a blatant piece of shit that even I noticed. For one, one of the contractors had sawed right through one of the pipes, big enough that a bottle cap could comfortably be placed in there. Did anyone of these "plumbers" replace that pipe when they saw it? NO. It took day 7 and "plumber" number 7 to fix it. They also gave us a window span of when they'll be here (would always show up hours late) and would get here AN HOUR before the end of their shift so they can do the least amount of work and run out. This happened a few times. Then there was one guy who KNEW he fucked up the hot water route and left us with only COLD WATER and didn't tell us anything about it. Another guy messed up the pressure of the water. If you're concerned about staying in budget, do not hire these expert thieves because they will drag out the work to collect more and more money. I've seen people do shit work before, but this... was to another level. I would use 3 words to describe this company: UNPROFESSIONAL, INCOMPETENT LIARS. read more

Btw, I highly recommend that you install a separate shut off valve to all of your appliances so if they leak, you can quickly turn off the water supply.
