They were staffed sufficiently to handle the initial surge of valet parking and we had no problem getting drinks at the cocktail reception open bar. The weather was great so we enjoyed our drinks listening to live music in their outdoor patio area. They started with a raw bar and assorted appetizers. Then we moved into the large dining room where we were served a salad course, an entree duo of sliced beef tenderloin and herb marinated shrimp, along with truffle whipped potato and roasted winter vegetables. Desert was a coconut snowball with a chocolate cookie and chocolate drizzle. Considering the number of people in attendance, I don't know how the chef was able to serve such a delicious meal. If you book it they will charge you $5 and not actually book you the Tee Time that you reserved. When you ask for the money back for the reservation they say, "nope sorry it's not our fault". Making small talk we realized our home towns were not too far from each other and that we both enjoy beer...they brought over 2 buckets of beer on the house for us to enjoy! When I sold my house they decided to keep charging me for dues for the following year that I was clearly not going to be there for. Then they wanted to charge me late fees on that and nickel and dime me. When I called to speak with them about it Kelly Iceman would not let me speak or get a word in and just kept cutting me off. This is unacceptable from a "top club". This place is obviously all about the money. I will however say the golf staff is great and I did enjoy that.
