Our family's favorite donuts in the valley. Always great, fresh and delicious with good service! We also enjoy trying the seasonal flavors.

Very interesting potato donuts. Never been to Spudnuts so I was excited to try a Logan staple. We ordered a dozen assorted donuts and mixed and matched. I tried the Reese's (5/5), chocolate old fashioned (4/5) and the apple fritter (4/5). I also tried the cookies and cream milk because I saw it was gourmet and I'm a sucker for elevated versions of regular foods/drinks. The milk itself was pretty heavy. Something I could drink by itself for a dessert but definitely not paired with a donut. Pretty tasty tho Super nice and helpful workers who rang us up quick and did so with a smile. Satisfied w my visit. Will be back next year Logan! read more

Purchased an assorted dozen. They were good, nothing spectacular and about average. The service however was terrible. The young lady was short and very curt. I understand staffing is difficult these days however a forward facing employee helping customers needs to be better. Most likely we will not return. read more

I can't rate the store on taste, because it wasn't safe for me to try anything. They don't have all of the allergen information necessary. I asked about the allergens in the frostings/glazes on the donuts and the kind workers said that they don't know and couldn't find out unless the bakers were around. I am writing this review so others can know this, and so that the store might see and consider making a list with the allergen information for their products. read more

Utah has become a wasteland for finding good donuts so I was really happy when we discovered Johnny O's. Gone are the days when the local grocers made 'decent' donuts and That Big Kremey chain just doesn't cut it for people that like good donuts. Selection was outstanding and the price was reasonable for the few dozen I picked up. The crew I was feeding loved them and having them stuff their faces with these morsels of awesome kept the room quiet during our meeting. I'm calling that a win. This location has a drive through window which is convenient. They had 3 dozen out the window to me in no time so I was early for my appointment. If you want to go in and hand select your donuts you can do that as well. I look forward to hitting this place up next time I am in the Cache Valley. read more

About month ago I made an order online for a dozen doughnuts. I drove from Willard all the way up to Logan to pick it up. When I arrived up there they told me they don't pull orders from online. I was surprised to hear them say that. I mean what is the point of having an online ordering system if you don't use it. They had sold out of all of the doughnuts and didn't bother to even look at my order. So I was pretty upset about that. They were nice enough to at least give me a free dozen doughnuts card. They told me to make an order over the phone next time. So yesterday morning I called them up and made an order over the phone. The girl on the phone said they had all of the doughnuts available and that they would be ready for me to pick up at 4:30. So I get up there and they are closed. One girl was still there cleaning. She opened up for me to get my order. I grab the doughnuts and leave. Well half the doughnuts were not the ones I ordered at 10 am that morning. The other half were correct. While I was driving up I had missed a call from them saying that when they pulled my order this afternoon they had run out of the ones I wanted so they substituted with fritters. It is ridiculous that they can't get an order over the phone or online correct. How hard is it to just pull the order as soon as it comes in. Anyways, the doughnuts are excellent but I think this is the last time I'll be buying from them. They obviously don't care enough about their customers. read more

These are not actually spudnuts. The doughnuts were fine. And in the Cache valley these may be the best ones you can find. It was worth the stop because they sell Reed's chocolate milk which is the best and more difficult to find in Utah. read more

I visited this donut place coming from California so I was really excited about it, a little disappointed their NUTELLA CREAM tasted nothing like Nutella and that the donut itself tasted old. It was our first time in here yesterday afternoon. Pretty disappointing. The donuts were dense and missing most of the frosting because they put them in the bag upside down. My husband got a captain crunch cereal donut and the cereal was so stale, making it disgusting. The girl there did try and make me an iced mocha but it was so bitter I couldn't even drink it even though I asked for more creamer in it. She tried though. All in all, Krispy Kreme still reigns as donut champion. We really wanted to find somewhere else that we liked. Guess we'll keep looking. read more

Besides having wonderful fritters on Friday, I wanted to write this review about the outstanding service I received from a specific employee. Braden really took care of me and didn't make me feel like I was putting him out by needing my drink to be revamped (of course to go with my blueberry fritter!) Placed an order online about 2 hours in advance and drove all the way from Salt Lake. Went inside to pick up my order and was told they sold out of donuts because of a local event and that they tried to call me. I had no missed calls on my phone, so that was a lie. They took my information and said a manager would be contacting me soon to cancel the order, but it's been a few hours now and I have received no such communication. Totally unacceptable, and now I'm out about $20 for donuts they apparently never had in the first place and couldn't be bothered to actually call me to tell me before wasting the time and money of driving all the way to Logan. read more

Yum yum yum! One of our favorite donut places! Their donuts are so good! It's a cute little shop with a case full of a variety of donuts. The store often has more options available than what their website lists so I suggest shopping in-store to see all of your options. We especially love the Blueberry Cake donut - it is divine! I have heard their fritters are good, sadly they were all sold out when we went, but we still loved all of our donuts nonetheless. I've been here several times over the years. Their drive - thru is in front of jimmy Johns. Their "spud nuts" are good. Daily specials like pumpkin, lemon poppy seed, etc. I was inside once and two customers in front of me took FOREVER to choose ice cream. For some reason, one employee was working he ice cream counter and another was mopping the floor instead of one serving donuts. read more

At one time, there was a Johnny O's near us in Layton. But those times are now just beautiful memories. The spudnut is now a pilgrimaged that our family must make. We recently made the journey to the Spudnut location in Logan and the glorious scents and flavors flooded my senses. I felt washed over by the familiar nostalgia. The location was easy to access. The service was friendly. The selection was more than expected for so late in the day. And the dessert divine. Johnny O's truly puts to shame all others who attempt the donut. Nice to have a different type of donut shop in town! Definitely better quality than grocery store bakeries.

Always a great place to stop for donuts and now coffee since they added Jitters. Try to get in before 10 and you'll be able to get warm donuts which is unheard of for most donut shops/ bakeries. The staff is always friendly and there's never a long wait. It's a fun little place to meet a friend for a coffee or donut. The interior has plenty of seating and it's super cute. I have heard their donuts are good. We live in Salt Lake and every time we come to Logan, we try to get some, but been sold out EVERY time. Today I thought I would be smart and I ordered ahead and purchased online. When I got to the store at 1:00 to pick them up (in my scheduled pick-up time window) the store was locked with a note on the door that said they were sold out. (Also on the website and their door, it says they are open until 7pm. If you call their phone number it says open until 9pm). Anyway, I could see the girl inside clean,ing so I knocked. She looked up and went into the back room... I banged loudly on the door. I kept at it until she finally came and talked to me. I explained that I had ordered and PAID online. She said they probably had the order set aside for me... She checked. They did NOT have my order. I am frustrated and disappointed. She didn't even apologize, just handed me the receipt for my refund. I won't try again. I don't care how good their donuts are. Nothing is worth the poor service I received today. (In the 5 or 10 minutes I was trying get her to open the door, 3 other sets of customers came and left. This company doesn't seem to mind losing business.) read more

We have been to Spudnuts several times and while the donuts are fine, avoid if you have food sensitivities or allergies. Often the donuts pictured are not what you may end up with. We have issues with food dyes and even donuts with no dyes on the photo order board may have food dye in the actual product. We can't tell you how many donuts we've tossed or butchered to remove the dye. read more

Took our two kids to Johnny O's last weekend on my sister's recommendation. We were NOT disappointed!! The donuts are super fresh and delicious. Both filled donuts we tried-raspberry jelly and a cream filled Bismarck (my husband's favorite)--were chock FULL of delicious filling! The blueberry cake donut was amazing. So was the cinnamon twist.
