I had my lashes done here today. Twice. I'm here from out of state and did not know where to go. I've had my eyelashes done for several years and never had such a terrible experience. The girl I saw was an inexperienced as she told me she'd only been doing lashes for "about a year". My lashes were set too deep and she used copious amounts of glue! I drove all the way home and spoke to Laura and told her of the condition of my eyes. I went back in and the girl that originally did my lashes seemed irritated with me. There was actually another young lady that took over and tried to help. I can barely open my eyes. They haven't stopped watering since noon. I also have a terrible headache to boot. Lashes? I love them, at first. But they need maintenance. That "maintenance" depends on: 1) If "ass in chair" girl closes early or not- no matter how far you drove or if it's only 6:20pm and the app says they're slow then. 2) Depends on if a lash person cares. Simply put, they don't. 3) If your appointment is kept by them because they often run behind. I've waited up to 90 minutes past my time. I didn't complain but if I'm there 2 minutes past-even with no one there they are happy to leave and close early even though your lashes need help. 4) Depends if Johnnys wife is going to make him go home to feed the kids after he has only done one of your eyes. She will finish but a week later, Johnnys lashes are still on but hers? Ya, not so much. Johnny belongs in the lash studio. Plus, he is always nice. 0 stars for the staff. Now? This is how they did me.... Walked in at 6:20pm asking for a fix. The "ass in chair" girl- with cash strewn all around the front desk () said she had already "closed out" as she pointed to the cash in hand and all around. Confused, I confirmed they don't close til 7, right? She said everyone was busy and no more walk ins. I walked outside wondering if lashes are worth all this. I decided to walk back in and make an appointment...... BUSTED... "Ass in chair" girl stopped mid sentence then turned to the lash girls who had just come out from behind the curtain- they look busy to you? I stood there. . . Seeing if I could still make an appointment- weirdly- nobody moved a muscle, nobody said a word but the two hiding lash girls started to uncomfortably smirk as I stood there to see if "Ass in chair" girl would speak to me. She wouldn't. * crickets*. They waited for me to leave and the "ass in chair" girl kept playing with the cash in hand, front door unlocked, at night, in San Bernardino. So, I took this pic and left. I can't change who they are but please, lock the door to count the money for your safety. Also, you keep treating people like this- you won't have any money. I AM TRYING THE MAGNETIC EYELINER this week. Super excited! Heard they're great! Cheaper & can do it myself. Everyone there are like teenage kids and nobody ever feels happy anymore. I thought long and hard before posting this but I think it's necessary.. I got my lashes done on Friday april 16th they immediately started hurting.. before I got them done I asked if they were individuals I was told "yes they are" by a guy after I was half way done I felt my eyes were glued shut Idk what type of glue they used but it smelled like crazy glue.. once she was done I could not open my eyes she had to help me separate my eyelids.. my eyes were burning like crazy... I immediately felt pain on my lash line it was and is so sore yes I paid no I didn't complain at that point I didn't want anyone to touch my lashes. I wanted to wait until my lashes came off to review. They did stay on for 4 1/2 weeks. Perhaps because some of it was painfully stuck to my skin. My usually dry eyes teared for 2 weeks and the stiff glue and hard synthetic lash clusters were very uncomfortable when I sneezed or closed my eyes tight. The outer corners fell off after a week. The place looked clean, it only took 30 mins. I liked the results of getting my eyebrows arched. I would have liked to have seen hands and instruments being cleaned in between clients. The staff was very nice. I went in early on a Saturday and was called in promptly for my appointment. This is ok for a quick look if you are going away for a weekend or on a cruise, but buy the remover from them or the beauty supply. I thought I looked like a She-Male and I got the 2nd shortest basic lash. The skin at my lash-line is irritated. Taking extra care not to get infected. Good luck! read more

Well update I'm laying on the table only today I was attended by Johnny himself "not by choice" as he removed my lashes he was going fast and rough which if anyone has had a removal knows being rough and fast causes the eye lid too move which burned the hell out of my eye he knew he did it you ok you ok no I'm not ok I had to tell him to go easy!!! Then he jumped from lady to lady without sanitizing his hands answering his cellphone in between while touching our lash lines. Usually I have a great experience with the girls but not today with Johnny here. Horrible Customer Service!!! I got my lashes done Thursday it is now Saturday and my lashes are already coming off. I gave them a call and attempted to get them completed or fixed and the owner insisted on charging me because she doesn't offer "warranties" on lashes. BACTERIAL CONJUNCTIVITIS...... AKA PINK EYE. This is what I was diagnosed with after my last visit to Johnny's Lashes in San Bernardino the day before thanksgiving. Instead of celebrating with my family I was home with hot compresses on my eyes. I was not planning to post a negative review because as a business owner, I appreciate being able to correct my mistakes before having them displayed for public view. I called and spoke to a kind receptionist (Jasmine) who told me she would give my info to her supervisor. 4 hours later on the way home from picking up my prescription eye drops I stopped in to see about getting a refund. This would at least cover the cost of my copay and prescription. Jasmine called her supervisor (Laura I believe) and was told that she could not give me a refund. They can only remove the lashes. NO!!!! My eyes are red and infected, why would they ever offer to touch them and risk spreading more bacteria??? So please take caution here. I will never, ever come back. I own a business which is alllllll customer service. My girl has been going to johnnys the whole 5 years we've been together and the service just keeps getting worse. I'm almost positive depending on the day and who's there is how the operating procedures work. I'm almost positive that the receptionist in Loma Linda is always having a bad day. (Minus the girl on staff 11/7) which is new I think. If I have to hear my cosmetologist GF complain again about how only Vanessa is consistent I'm Going to lose my mind. The people are really nice, I never personally had a problem with anyone there. The setting is spacious, neat and the store itself is very organized. The reason I put 2 stars is solely because their techniques. They use clusters that break off your natural lashes and make them super thin. Eyelash extensions are not supposed to be super damaging. They are super hard to clean and feel like plastic even though I got "mink". I went to get them removed and it burned the crap out of my eyes and basically had to remove the rest on my own. I would not recommend doing the cheap way of eyelash extensions. So, this organization is a big NO. read more

Johnny's offers both cluster & individual lashes. Johnny told me the individual lashes take more maintenance, so I have clusters. EDIT - I only wear individual lashes now, because I lost my own lashes with the glued on clusters. I prefer a more natural look and get a mix of short & Xshort, in silk. I also use gel pads, instead of the blue tape during application. The gel is cool and comes off the skin better. They take both appointments and walk-ins. I never have time to be a walk-in & wait, so I always make appointments. To get a new set of clusters, you need to arrive 15 minutes early for an appointment. I have learned that creating a good or natural 'look' all comes down to the technician. In the end, I now only have Johnny place lashes, due to consistency. He does rotate through all three stores. He usually sings when he applies lashes (which is entertaining), and has a great rapport with his employees. They are a relatively calm & quiet group. read more

The owners wife was there when I came back in because my eyes were swollen shut after just one day of having my lashes, and she was so rude and refused to refund my money, or accommodate me. Johnny gives me a mirror, GOES back to his client n asks how i like them.. i LOOKED at them stunned at how fake, long, hard they were and told him "i'd have to get used to them, if i wanted to take them off at home, do you guys sell the remover here?".. usually when i say that IT NEVER turns out good...he says "yes its $10, at the front" 6) he probably knew i didn't like them cause he had a stink face on the entire time.. 7) I walked out feeling so emberrased cause I HATED how they looked on me!! I paid $40 no tip, cause they didn't deserve none (YES, CHEAP but you get what u paid for, they looked like plastic $1 lashes you buy and left on for 2 wks) I ask the receptionist about the removal, she said "We suggest you come in and get them removed by us" so I didn't buy it.. i walked to my car.. sat there for 15 minutes debating if i should go back in there and get them removed THAT very moment.. I'VE NEVER EVER FELT THAT way after getting anything done, esp not 5 minutes later! I thought really hard about getting them removed.. NOW im writing this 6 days later.. AND MY biggest regret was NOT having them removed that same day.. Everywhere I went, I received unwanted attention from those lashes,, they were so dramatic.. NOT "NATURAL LOOK" as stated under the photo i showed them.. 3 days after I GOT THEM done I took a hot shower and put jojoba oil all over my lids and rubbed them.. the clusters eventually came off over a period of 2 days.. piece by piece. some of my natural lashes came off with it... I have never and will never get eye extensions again. I came into Johnny's with my mom and we both wanted to try it out. First off, she made it clear she wanted to look natural. She picked her set so hers would look natural due to the fact she is 50 years old. She came out with black lashes that stretched all the way to her eyebrows.. Not to mention her eye was bloodshot like they scratched it. We would ask them to trim ours but they worked on them and they looked the same as before. They also seemed much more rushed to get us out of there. Mine came out better, so my mom says, but they remained irritated all day long and sensitive to sunlight. I was tearing up all day. The next morning I woke up and could barely open my eyes because a goo formed and teared all that day as well. We came out looking like dolls, not cute. I felt like I was a toddlers&tiaras contestant. We both immediately removed them. They would not refund me, yet they overpriced me (mine were supposed to be 25, I paid 40). I did not make an appointment and ended up waiting an hour to be seen (which was what the front desk clerk quoted me). I requested that my lashes look AS NATURAL as possible... I insisted that I wanted them to look longer but not necessarily more full. She did a great job. The lashes are plastic and thick so to say they look "natural" would be a stretch. I looked like I had mascara on all the time, saving me the hassle of putting on eye make up everyday. The downside is it was hard for me to change my look (I always looked like I was ready for a party... never like it was a laid-back "grocery store/ gym" day). I probably won't come back even though I received numerous compliments for my lashes. They were very uncomfortable (especially for the first few days)... you can't rub your eyes if they're itchy b/c the lashes may fall loose, you can't close your eyes too tight b/c the lashes are glued so close to the base of your natural lash that you can literally feel them scraping your eyeball, they are heavy, thick, and stiff. I woke up a couple times with red eyes, praying that I didn't get an unfortunate case of pink eye :( If I return, it will be because it's a special occasion that will last a couple days (ie, short vacation or a holiday)... this is not because of the cost (this place is cheap as heck for what you get) but because it's just not me to have this look for so long and it's just too much trouble. My lashes lasted 2 weeks. I got my lashes removed at Johnny's because I'm very particular about maintaining these things the RIGHT WAY. I didn't want to pull them off myself! The removal cost me 10 bucks (a little steep in my opinion) and took ~15 minutes. The removal solution stings your eyes so keep them closed for as long as your lashes are soaking then remove the solution from your lashes thoroughly with the wet cloth (I rubbed my lashes between my fingers, rather than rubbing the sheet against my eye to prevent the solution from leaking in). I will definitely go back to Johnny's Lashes. The ladies there were very nice and very helpful. Before you go in to get your lashes done they will walk you through everything like what kind of material do you want your lashes to be, if you have any eye sensitivities they can use a special glue, they also have you pick what length you want them and also tell you how they will look and they show you some pictures of lashes and each picture is a different style. I didn't get the name of the receptionist or the girl who did my lashes but they are very sweet there. Everything is very very clean, all the girls who do lashes wash their hands thoroughly before they begin to work on you The style of lashes I got were Bumblebees and I got the length medium/long. read more

I was on my vacation in SoCal and noticed my friend's beautiful lashes. She got her eyelash extension here for a really cheap price. $30-$40!! Holy cow!!! I was like... No way!! We cant get that anywhere in Seattle!! So i decided to treat myself with this since it was looking so good on my friend's. :) My friend called to make same day appointment first thing in the morning. They told us that they didn't have anything open until 4:30pm..and recommended us us to just do a walk-in. So we did. And this is the part where they lost a lot of points on my end. After checking in...i had to wait about 1 1/2 hours (perhaps longer!!!) to get mine done! Ridiculous!! I kept seeing people coming in after me and going in. I get that these people probably made appointment... But if they were so booked and busy.. They should have told me how long the wait was going to be..then i could've have decided if i wanted to wait that long. Which i didn't. Instead, they decided to accept a walk-in and made me wait that long. Plus i had to wait another 15 minutes lying on the bed before actually getting my service done. So yeah.. I was being patient..but was very unhappy. But.. I decided to give them 4 stars instead of 3 because the eyelashes turned out really nice. I was really happy with the way my lashes look. Plus i only had to pay $35.. so cant beat that. Also..Johnny.. the owner.. who did my lashes, was apologetic for the long wait and he was very friendly and funny. I said a Natural look, no long lashes, go mini to medium, you know, soft n natural. so 30 minutes later I had GIGANTIC THICK BLACK plastic lashes glued to my face. I bought human hair and spent 50 dollars on my first set. They lasted 10 days. I figured it was because they were new so I got a "fill" and those lasted 3 days. When I called to tell them, I was told that if I didn't come in that day it would be another 25 dollars so I did. Overall I spent 75 dollars on one set of lashes they have been on 23 days and guess what......the right eye is hanging off again. This place is clean and the people are nice. But they don't stand behind their product. One would think if you paid more (as I did for the human hair they would last more than 23 days. The best eyelash place in the Inland Empire. The staff is friendly and professional. The owner is so awesome and such a people person. Everytime I leave there I feel beautiful. They have many choices in eyelash designs so you can have a natural look all the way to extremely dramatic.
