Long review so get ready…read more.. I called 2 days in advance to see if I could get an appointment for 3 pedicures at the same time. They gave me an appointment time. I called 30 min before the appointment to be sure they had us down for 3 pedicures. They said come 30 min later than scheduled which was fine. We arrived at the time they asked us to come in - 30 min after the original appointment. We were moved to pick a color and start our feet soaking right away. Then the disappointments began... FIRST, we were surprised that there are only soft chairs, not the large lounge/vibrating chairs that we were used to at nail salons. SECOND, the tubs to soak in are large stainless sinks with no bubble jets. (See photos) NEXT, 2 of us got pedicures right away, the third one waited 50 minutes before getting started. After 40 min we finally asked why there were only 2 pedicurists when we were told we could get 3 at the same time. They gave an excuse that didn't make sense. Why didn't they just tell us this was going to happen in the beginning? After feet sitting in cold water, the 3rd one in our party got a shortened treatment and the first two had to wait extra time after being done. THEN the pedicurist that was working on our 3rd friend dropped something and cut her hand, so there was a tag team with two other workers to finish. More than 2 hours later we were all done. Everyone was very nice and cheerful and they apologized for the wait when we were paying. The pedicures look good, but I felt like our time wasn't valued.

And nail girls, who double book or book another customer in the middle of my appointment are out. So after many nail salons, I found this one. This is not a big store, a little disorganized, but very friendly. Soon as I walked in, Heather, the owner of the salon greeted me loud. And she keeps entertaining. They use sterilized tools that means they open the blue pack of tools in front of customers. Their prices are very reasonable. They do a good job. I even brought my husband cuz he has ingrown toe nails. And Tim did a great job on his ingrown toe nails and my husband became a repeated customer also. Highly recommended.

Booking an appointment was super easy, the vibe was chill, and they have such a good gel polish selection. I get gel on my natural nails and Han did an amazing job -- he was so sweet, fast, and really good at what he does. It's been three weeks and my nails still look great! I'm already planning to go back for a gel pedi and to refresh my manicure. I'm just so happy I found a place I love here in Broken Arrow. They don't answer emails. Nothing. I have questions on why Military discounts are not honored when using a gift card. Sounds to me like false advertising when you advertise military/teacher discount on Tuesdays. There's absolutely nothing mentioned about no discounts if one uses a gift card. This gift card was paid for. It's not like double stacking discounts. And my other question was why I was charged $15.00 more because of the acrylic powder being removed and new being applied. Plus, after a week my nail is already chipped. This is the solar polish. So, if one is already chipped, I can't wait to see if my other nails are going to as well. I get my nails done professionally because I want them to last more than 1 week before chipping. I could do my own nails for less money and need to do them every week at this rate. Very very disappointed that after I gave the business a second chance after they charged me for a service I hadn't received. I called the business, and they insisted that I stop in. After a long day at work I had to stop in and answer the same exact question 3 times. No, I didn't get a pedicure. Once my gift card is used up, I will not be returning to this nail salon. It would NOT take long to answer my questions. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT 918 Nails. They don't OFFER Military/teachers discounts IF you are using a gift card. False advertising on their part. No mention of it on the website that one can't get a discount when you paid for a gift card.

It was later in the day and with St. Patrick's Day coming up I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get in to a place that wasn't busy. I looked up nail salons close to the catoosa area since I wanted to stay close to home and not get into Tulsa. Out of the ones that pulled up this looked like the best match for me to try so I called ahead and made a reservation for later in the day. Nails Gl'amore is in a strip mall shared with Mazzios, Subway, Flo's Burgers and China Bowl facing the road. (Just in case you get hungry after you get your nails done) I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked to pick out a color and have a seat in a massage chair. This is where all the magic started! I was offered a choice of wine, (white or red) or water. White wine please!! They set my foot tub up with warm water and handed me a book of options to enhance my mani pedi service. I opted to get the deluxe service for both. Andrew and Shayla, the husband and wife team that own and operate this nail salon went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and were constantly asking me if I needed anything or if I needed anything. Andrew spent a great deal of time on my feet, applying the masks and hot towels and then gave me the absolute best leg and foot massage I've had in a while. I liked that he didn't rush the massage like some places that rub your skin a few times and then are done. He spent time working on my legs, pointing out the knots I had in some areas and working those out with precision. His wife asked if I would like another glass of wine..yes please!!..and then it was time for my arms to receive a scrub and a moisturizer service before starting on my nail service. After all of this pampering it was time for the normal nail routine for my shellac service. Painting, lights, painting, lights...perfection! I have to say that my nails look great, my arms and legs feel relaxed and refreshed. I spent a lot of time talking to Andrew and his wife about so many things that they feel like family. I will definitely be seeing them again not only for my nail service but Andrew does neck and head massages as well so o may have to check him out for that!
