1st & LAST Visit! I have literally been to dozens of nails salons over the past 20+ years, and I have to say that this was, hand down-my WORST experience ever! Hadn't had acrylics for a couple years and was excited to have them done. After reading several reviews, I decided on Bliss. Not too busy when I arrived, but they were clearly understaffed. Showed them a pic of what I wanted and was basically told they only had a couple techs that could do 'ombre' nails, and only in pink & white powder, as those were the only 2 colors they had, {wanted beige} and that it would be $60. I should have walked out at that point, but decided to give them a shot. 35 minutes later, I sit down with "Linda", who clearly did not want to be doing my nails and appeared to be completely put out with it all-evident even under her mask. She completely ignored me, despite my repeated attempts to chat and be friendly, actually jerking my hand around as she filed, etc. The couple of times I asked for a specific nail shape, etc.-she would actually stop what she was doing and glare up at me as if I had just demanded her firstborn child. It took her less time to do my complete set, than the time I had sat there waiting-and it showed! I know the steps involved to have a nice, clean look, and she skipped most of them completely. Nails were too wide and thick-the tips were 'globby' looking with no shape--they really looked horrible. By the end of it, I was so upset and uncomfortable, I just foolishly walked up to the register and paid full price for this terrible experience and end result, just so I could get out of there. I then literally drove directly to ANOTHER nearby nail salon, asking if they could help me to thin them out and shape them. The kind, friendly woman (Ann) at Cali Nails, spent more time on me than Linda had, and transformed them into the nails I wanted in the 1st place-AND only charged me $15! As far as Bliss - it's one thing for someone to be rude and disrespectful, but quite another when they lack the professionalism to even do a decent job and then expect you to pay full price for crap. read more

Although the person that did my nails was very nice. i showed a picture of the nails I wanted and the nails look nothing like the picture. She then continued to ask me about my moms skin colour (Primarily because she is of Latino dissent). she asked "If her skin was naturally that dark". Then purposely asked questions why me and her don't look alike. when my mom walked away she would ask why I'm with her. Then she would continue to stare at her in disgust. I had to change the subject to something else because my mom was right next to us. overall the expirence was pretty bad. I do not suggest going here unless u wanna be disappointed. I just moved to the area and happened upon Bliss Nail Spa and I cannot be more happy with the results. My nails look perfect, exactly the shape, length, and color I wanted. I had my acrylic set removed and my nails color dipped, I was charged $45, 10 for the removal and 35 for the dip. I was told that my next appointment would only be $35. I went in the middle of the day on a Thursday, so there was no wait. There were five nail techs and a receptionist when I arrived. I had my nails dipped in the powder and I must say it was not impressive. They did not clean up the edges so I had color all over my fingers. the product was either not good or the technician didnt know what she was doing because the color wasnt consistent across my nails. I came here after reading all of the great reviews and needless to say they did NOT disappoint! I had a deluxe pedicure and classic manicure done and was very pleased with the experience! My daughter and I got mid-price range Pedicures and they were a waste of money! Nails were filed crooked, the entire nail was not painted and the color started chipping on day 2 and the Owner did my daughters! I went it for a pedicure and full set. They took a very long time just to seat me in a pedicure chair so I ended up only doing the pedicure. The lady was unprofessional as she kept answering her phone. The massage was more just rubbing the small amount of lotion she applied in. I looked at my toe polish after and it was very sloppy. I am honestly livid. The nail tech left polish all over my fingers. I asked her twice to clean it up and she barley touched them. At check out,what I assume is the manager, saw I was upset and said he would have someone else clean them up. Originally I said no as I just wanted to leave and be done with this place. Once I stepped outside I saw it was worse than I thought. I went back in and another woman "cleaned" them up. I still have polish all over the corners of my fingers and a streaky coat of polish at best. I will never go back to that salon and hope people read this review before they go in. Ok in a pinch, but not really a place I would go back to. The lady who did my manicure was ok, but heavy handed in her filing, clipping, etc. While it's true that it had been a while since my last manicure (I needed to rest my nails after several consecutive gel manis), it seemed unnecessary to just be going to town hacking off my cuticles. I was a bit stressed she would cut me accidentally and then she would comment drily that I'm too tense. She also applied polish quite thickly so the end result was mediocre. read more

I went to get my nails done on Mother's Day and they looked absolutely horrible. I spent over $100 on my nails and toes. The edges of my toes aren't even painted. And I got the dip on my nails. When I left the building they looks as if they had crackle nail polish on the top. Since I had plans on Mother's Day I was not able to have them fix them. So I went back two days later to have them fixed and the lady that did then the first time redid them when she told me I was done and my nails were dry I get up to grab my keys and all of my nails on my left hand got messed up. She had put 4 coats of clear on the top which you only supposed to do two. So a guy sees how upset I am and sit me in his chair. Redoes my nails for the 3 rd time. Then goes to see if my nails are dry and swipes the clear off of 4 of my nails with his fingers. At this point I'm tired and upset and hungry. I can in for a redo on my nails and it ended up taking almost a full hour. I definitely won't be going here again. I hate doing bad reviews but three times and you still couldn't get it's right? I am so HAPPY to have went to Bliss Nail Salon, I read the reviews and made the decision to come here. My nail tech was Kim and I explained to her that I had a bad experience with another nail salon that made me not want to get my nails done again, I told her I had gotten cut on my finger and my finger was infected;I had to be on steroid pills and take antibiotics . Best nail salon I've been to in the Tulsa area! All their tools come in separate packages so you know they're clean. They are very gentle and good with your feet. I got a 20 minute foot/leg massage which never happens at other salons. Did an amazing job on my color as well!! read more

I've been here before and my technician was pretty good- I think was the owner. Today I had a lady that I guess was just a dingbat. She dipped my nails in the wrong color which was similar but I didn't notice until the end and took a chunk of my finger off using the buffer which still hurts. I asked her to make my dip thinner which she told me she couldn't do over and over( she can do it- I've had it done at other salons-she's just lazy) then at the end was bugging me about tipping before I even paid. This place is very nice. I liked the smaller setting, but there was a wait with only 3 other people in the salon. I waited 25 minutes for someone to start on my feet. The massage chairs are very nice though, so I didn't mind as much. I think they need to hire more staff to do pedicures, there were 2 guys just sitting there not doing anything. I guess they only do hands. I liked the atmosphere. I got shellac with the deluxe pedicure and she did a great job. Very thorough. Did get an apology for the 25 minute wait. I'd say next time I'd make an appointment. They have a hard time with four or more people in there on a Tuesday at 4:00. read more
