In the past, Johnny's has been just okay; years ago I loved the muffuletta flip and the wings (but those are overpriced) . Then, last night we ordered a small alfredo chicken ranch and a muffuletta flip. Took literally an hour and a half to arrive. Food was cold. Pizza bland. It was THE WORST M-FLIP I've ever had - squished, all bread.. hardly any contents inside! Perhaps they should have went out of business during Covid to save us all the headache? Dinner for 3- $41 03/26/2022 In my humble opinion. These folks really know how to make pizza. The only complaint I have is cost. They really like their stuff. The delivery was much faster this time vs last. And the food was much saucier. 10x more napkins- saucier. Still yummy though. read more

The muffuletta has been horrible the last few times we pick up very soggy not enough olive mix different bread and the pizza we ordered was awful as well . I don't know if they changed cooks but they need to do something cause we won't be back untill something changes and we were regular customers read more

Horrible customer service. Had pizza delivered by door dash (their system won't recognize our address) and when it arrived it was paper thin and wrong ingredients. Called store and told I had to deal with door dash and then person on phone laughed at my issue. Even called corporate and no help getting explanation on policy. Will not order again!!!! read more

Me & my family have ate and ordered Johnnys pizza for 20 years now, I literally grew up on their pizza and it is 100% my favorite & go to when I want pizza. With that being said the last three times we have ordered from there, the service is just not like it use to be. It is so extremely slow, and I am a patient person and understand people are understaffed, but when it's a Monday night and two hours pass by and I have to send my husband to go pick up the pizza because it still has not been delivered...and when my husband pulls up he then tells me all the lights are off in the building besides the ones over the counter & not a soul in sight...what's the deal? And then the staff doesn't even seem like anything is wrong or are even busy upon arrival at that matter. Or even to mention one time our food was scheduled in advance to be picked up at a certain time, arrive and guess what, wasn't ready, and then proceeded to have to wait another 45 minutes for our food and again staff seems unbothered by the whole situation. Great pizza, by far my favorite fast food style pizza place. When my sister lived in Knoxville Tennessee they would half bake and freeze the pizzas for me to take to her and another friend from here that lives in Franklin Tennessee would drive 45 minutes to get some Johnny's. We buy their raw pizza dough to make homemade pizza's sometimes and it's delicious and fresh. The muffuletta is awesome as well. Love this place. read more

Today was the last straw, this Johnnys on Barksdale is the worst. This is the 3rd time they have messed up our order. This first time, it was a delivery and they sent cinnamon sticks instead of the cheese sticks we ordered. The second time online order for pickup, 20 min ready time, and they forgot to make the cheese sticks, had to wait another 15 mins for them to make them. 3rd time, called to place order for pickup, 25-30 ready time, get up there at 35 mins, pizza nowhere to be found. Cashier asked where pizza was, personal pizza supposedly going in oven, waited 25 mins, pizza still not done, asked for manager, pizza arrived 3 mins later, told manager this 3rd time order messed up, asked for refund. Got refund and the manager didnt say a word about mess up or anything, no apologize for our time wasted. This is the worst Johnnys in Sport/Bossier area. read more

For the second consecutive time, this location has messed up our online order. First time, what was delivered was not what we ordered. Second time, they "forgot" to cook our cheese sticks, but had our pizzas ready. 8-10 minutes waiting on the cheese sticks that we already paid for and our pizzas were cold. I don't know if this location is under new management, but we after twenty-plus years of living in South Bossier, this has never been an issue. I usually go 2 or 3 times a month. The same thing always happens and I'm never ever going back. We waited 30 minutes for a cold pizza. It sat on the window counter for 10 minutes, of course it's gonna be cold! The fork I grabbed had dried food on it. The phone rings constantly while you are there. My wife and I ordered 2 pizza bowls from store #0027. We noticed the bowls were smaller. I measured the bowls from edge to edge and they measure 7 1/4 ". The inside of the bowl were the food is measured 6". The website states the pizza bowls are 8". That's false advertising. Switching the bowls and charging the same price is bad business. In short? Amazeballs! Order now...you won't be disappointed! Long? Pickup is quick and ready when you get there. Delivery is lightning fast though that might be due I'm right down the street from them. Staff is fantastic to deal with. Moved back to Bossier a few weeks ago and my best friend recommended the place. I'm all up for M&P, Hole in the wall, obscure places. They more often than not leave me impressed and with a full belly. This place...did not disappoint the hype that was put on it before I ordered. Since then I've had nearly all their specialties and it's a hard call to say which is my favorite. I dislike anchovies, pure and simple, but their Sweep The Kitchen, even with them, is fantastic. I'm from Louisiana and at first questioned Sweep the Swamp, their seasonal special during mudbug pickins, but at first bite? Had to have more. And, it's the same with everything else. When the best thing at a pizza restaurant is the obviously frozen generic chocolate chip cookies, you know it's terrible. We used to frequent this place when I was a kid, and remember it being much better than this. This was before I lived in New York though, and tried some of the best pizza around. We arrived thirty minutes or so, after the lunch buffet began. ($5.99 per person) I got a couple pieces of cheese pizza, as well as some cheese sticks. It was all very cold, and tasted like reheated pizza. The two dessert items they had were cinnamon sticks, and chocolate chip cookies. Again, the cinnamon sticks had potential, but were extremely cold. The chocolate chip cookies on the other hand, were the hottest thing on the bar. While you could tell they were straight from a prepackaged freezer box, they weren't half bad. Overall, I'd avoid this place. Chains like Dominoes and Pizza Hut make better food. read more

So my wife broke her leg earlier in the day and we were looking for something convenient after getting casted up. We found Johnny's. We placed an online order and it was ready in the quoted time. Sweep the Kitchen pizza, sandwich, and large baked cookie set us back $25. Price and food was reasonable. There wasn't anything overwhelming or underwhelming about our meals. I wasn't happy, with the fact that mask compliance was low despite signs saying masks were required. There was a huge party in there and not a goddamn mask among them. Cashier also had hers hanging from her ear. I hope our food wasn't prepped the same way. I'll probably give other pizza joints a shot before returning. read more

For the price you can't beat the lunch buffet. With a drink it ends up being 9.99 a person. The pizzas were fresh when we arrived and tasted like decent pizza for a lower end chain. People complaining that it's not as good as NYC pizza should probably just go back to NYC. Last I checked BC/Shreveport wasn't a top pizza town. read more

Now it is not like Pizza Hut or Domino's, so if that is what you are looking for then don't get a great pizza from here. I just wanted to put in a suggestion on them being able to put the spaghetti in a tin bowl for Togo . Figure out the cost and price it . I feel you could up your sales by making this one little change . Yes other pizza places provide these same ideas but they do not have the traditional spaghetti . I am always pleased with my orders even when there are a few mistakes they fix the problem fast and with no fuse . This is why I love ordering from them . I love Johnny's pizza period. Having said that this one lacks consistency. They tend to leave their dough out a little to long causing it to blacken during the bake. I used to work at a similar establishment. I have complained a few times before and it is better than it was. Still find myself not justifying the higher price of Johnny's when little Ceasers closer to my house makes a more consistent pizza. Get it together! read more

I spent a night in Shreveport while undergoing tests at the Veterans' Administration hospital. Sitting in the hotel room after a day of tests, I did not feel like going out for dinner. Fortunately, on the key card the hotel clerk gave me was an advertisement for Johnny's Pizza in Bossier City, just across the river from where I was staying in Shreveport. The photo of the pizza on the key card looked very appetizing so I called and ordered their 14 inch "Sweep The Kitchen Floor" pizza, minus the anchovies. The pizza was delivered within 30 minutes and it was piping hot. I opened the delivery carton and was pleasantly surprised to see the pizza looked exactly like the image on the key card. It looked and smelled much than the chain store pizzas and tasted infinitely better. I cannot compare it to say, Chicago or New York style (both of which I have eaten while in those cities) because it was uniquely pizza in its own right and it was delicious. What I did not eat for dinner, I saved and ate for breakfast. It tasted as good cold as it did hot. I have never gone to the restaurant so I cannot comment upon its décor or service, only to say the delivery service was prompt consistent with the time it actually takes to cook pizza, not frozen then microwaved. If you want pizza that is better than the ordinary (Pizza Hut, Domino's, etc.) then try Johnny's Pizza if you are near or passing through Shreveport. Their Barksdale Blvd. location is easy on/off Interstate 20. read more
