I came for lunch and ordered the Pad Kee Mow. I learned from my last time here ordering the same dish, that it alone didn't quite fill me up (but that could be because personally, my biggest meal of the day is lunch usually). Therefore, I also ordered the chicken satay appetizer. I would've ordered spring rolls, but they only have a vegetarian option, and I prefer ones with meat. Both were delicious! The food is really tasty, the environment is nice and welcoming and the person at the register was friendly. The food even came out a lot faster than was stated. My only complaint is the portion size. I've eaten a lot of Thai food at a lot of places in a lot of states and for the most part you typically get the same portion size. I got the Thai fried rice and egg rolls and I paid 29 dollars for it but the size of the meal seemed more like a lunch size portion. I would just recommend increasing the portion sizes so the customer feels like they are getting their moneys worth. Do that and this is easily a 4.5 rating. Can't give them 5 because nothing in life is perfect. read more

The food was very tasty and satisfying. I got the Cajun catfish sweet and sour and it was prepared in a way I've never seen before. They strip the meat off the catfish, cut it in many small pieces, dry it, then cooked in air fryer. It's was very lightweight and even though it didn't look like catfish, it was delicious. Each staff member worked incredibly hard to take orders, serve orders, check on guests and bus empty tables. You can see all the TLC they put forth at Zaap Thai. I stopped by for lunch on a busy Monday and they were able to make room for me, despite the almost full dining room. They have affordable lunch deals Mon-Fri, with a good variety of dishes. Prices differ from $9.95-$13.95, based on your choice of protein (tofu, mixed veggies, chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, combination). When they ask how spicy to make your entree, you can be sure they don't hold back on Thai spicy level 5! Although I can eat spicy foods, I had to limit my preference to level 3 spicy (which already had me sweating since I'm rather sensitive to the heat- please don't laugh because I'm such a weak sauce). Pad Se Ew with beef tasted fresh and well-seasoned. I would order it again when I am craving wide flat noodles. The Pad Se Ew sweet brown sauce really pulled the dish together for a great tasting dish. Tom Yum combination soup was an explosion of flavors. I could taste the lemongrass, kaffir lime, and spicy Thai chili. Tom Yum soup with a bowl of jasmine white rice is a perfect match made in foodie heaven. I can see myself eating this comfort dish especially during the winter. I'll definitely be returning for more meals when I'm in the area for my appointments. Over the years, our family has watched many restaurants come and go from this location. Some good, some terrible. I'm happy to report that this newest iteration has some really good food worth checking out. Our waiter was new, so we tried to have grace and patience for the slowness of service. A man I assume was the owner or manager came by several times to check on us. By the time we left, the place was pretty busy. I ordered the pad king with tofu and veggies. He doesn't know that I write reviews and he didn't really give us a discount or do anything overly nice so I think my experience is fair. We ordered the food and it took some time to come out. I think since the owner is running it with his family; it took a lot longer due to the shortages in staff. Butttt the food is definitely worth it. The fried rice was so so so so good. The fried tofu appetizer was amazing. And if you look at the picture, we dug in before I could get a good pic (sorry). It was great. In terms of authenticity, it had my experts' seal of approval. I think the biggest things we noticed was the taste of the pad sea ew and the pad kee mao was a little bit too similar. These are different dishes but it tasted similar. The spice could be more in the pad kee mao. The pepper steak was good but I thought that the sauce was a bit salty. It worked well with the rice tho. The fried rice was the best in my opinion. What a great tasting dish. I would order that over and over again. Keep in mind tho. The water here costs a dollar due to it being from a bottle. The Thai tea is really good as well. I am looking forward to what this place has to offer. Try this place out. The food is good. It is authentic Thai. Once this place has more workers and more options (I hear it's in the works) then it'll be a really really good place. read more

My daughter was craving Thai food (a total but pleasant surprise to me) and this place popped up with good reviews. Let me tell you, they are well deserved!! Our waiter Ralph was new but the definition of friendly and eager to help. He even offered great recommendations and feedback on our choices. We decided to get a few things and share. For starters we had Egg rolls (awesome!), Crab Rangoon (good but needed more filling), and Thai Fried Crispy Dumplings (BEST DUMPLINGS EVER!). Each came with a little side of red Thai chili sauce, which was good but standard. For the main course....TUM YUM GOONG w/shrimp ( the SP1 on their menu). This was a large bowlful and a generous side of rice. It was a new dish for us and we both loved it! They call it "one of the most famous of all Thai food" and we now understand why. Family friendly, decent amount of seating and spotless clean inside. It may be a little out of your way but if you want a true taste of authentic Thai, it's worth the trip! A must try!! read more

The owner is so sweet and very personable! So far I've had their Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mow, and Red Curry - I loved them all! I like spicy but I can only get it 2/5 spice level lol. I've tried 3/5 but it was too spicy for me :/. I only have a picture of the iced Thai tea bc I always dig in before I remember to take a picture of the food lol.
