While the decor is basic and aged, it is comfortable and clean. The service is ALWAYS top notched as the waitresses are always friendly and welcoming. They recently revised their menu and have some new choices. If you are wise, you would get a players card at Triple Crown casinos and you will most likely find monthly coupons in your mail for free meals here. Why is this important? In my humble opinion I just don't hold them to as high of a standard as a restaurant in a big town. However in the half dozen visits we have made here we have only had one less than stellar service visit. That time it was in the offseason and I think they just didn't have enough staff on hand. Tonight however was a typical experience, one that you could expect from any Saltgrass nationwide. The steak was superb, the drinks were good, the service was flawless and the atmosphere was fantastic as usual. By the way, for a steakhouse the prices are totally reasonable. So if you're in the mood for a steak and you're high in the Colorado Rockies this is the place to go.
