I've been dining in and out of this place for years. Staff are extremely friendly, and gluten-free accommodating. I've had pretty much every menu item, and I would definitely recommend following the pepper ratings in the menu for your personal spice tolerance. The place is always very clean and well-maintained. It's a Danielle staple at this point for me to eat here at least a few times a year. My personal favorite are the summer rolls and pad see ew with a sweet raspberry iced tea. read more

After a long drive off fast food stops over the last two days, some fresh food was needed badly. We got the panang curry plus pineapple, basil fried rice, and spicy veggies. Not the best Thai we've ever had, but all were plenty delicious. And c'mon, in the middle of PA beggers can't be choosers. Lots of what I'd consider small cities don't even have Thai options, so they are definitely a little gem. They represent very well. It's very good but on DoorDash there's that stupid $3.99 delivery fee since they are literally the only ones not participating with DoorDash. I would order more often but that fee is super off putting when other restaurants don't have that fee. All their salads are delicious-the papaya salad and green salad are my favorites. I'm also a fan of their curries and chefs specials. ALSO-dessert! I love their mango sticky rice. Called ahead to order Drunken Noodles with Tofu. Staff was pleasant on the phone and in person. Looks family run, which added to the charm of the homey, well-kept restaurant/dining space. I travel a lot for work, this time, my travels took me to Danville, PA for almost 3 months!! Being used to the big city travels, Danville was a change of pace for me. While traveling, I'm big into discovering good places to eat and luckily, i found a gem in John's Thai Asian Cuisine. This has been my favorite place to eat and get food from in all of Danville and it says a lot for someone that lives in a hotel and has to get take out 2-3 times a day. I've tried every restaurant in the first page of Yelp when you look up "Food" in Danville so trust me when i say John's Asian Cuisine is the best spot in town. I've tried probably half their menu from hibachi to appetizers. The only dish that i did not feel satisfied was probably the hibachi steak, BUT MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE IS THE SPICY CRISPY CHICKEN!!! It does not disappoint! I get mine spicy but i promise, it's the farthest thing from spicy. I LOVE IT! I get the spicy crispy chicken probably 2-3 times a week, it's that good. No need to look at the menu for anything else, guaranteed. The lunch size is just enough, but the dinner version fills me up perfectly. If you're reading this review i hope you give this place a chance and order the spicy crispy chicken. read more

We were happy we took a chance here when the place we were going to eat was closed on a Wednesday. Also, Glad to be able to dine in. Appetizers were all fabulous. We had tofu with peanuts, spring rolls, and vegetable tempura. Pineapple fried rice with broccoli was excellent! I ordered vegetables but was given choice of chicken, shrimp, or tofu. The peanuts on top were absolutely amazing. Pineapple was fresh and not from a can. Drunken noodles with tofu (spicy) were also delicious. Significant other and daughter, who is picky, both loved it! Super tasty food. We ordered Summer Rolls, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Ginger Chicken and Fried Calamari. All were delicious but we really enjoyed the fried calamari and the ginger chicken. We'll definitely come back whenever we pass by the town. read more

If you're looking for delicious food- this is the place for you. We've tried most of their dishes and it's all amazing. John's Thai is solid Thai food. This is the restaurant we have been to the most often since moving to Danville. I always get a curry dish and they have all been delish. It is a quiet atmosphere, and a plain atmosphere, but the staff is friendly and the food is tasty! Plus, BYOB! read more
