Replaced rear shocks, but didn't tighten them down. This resulted in ruined tires. Electric window repaired only to brake shortly after. Broke the knob off of stereo and crack wood grain on door panel. Referred friends and family whom complained to me about similar issues.

I had bought the tires at Goodyear when they had the replace and or repair thing. Willie just made it ok to drive on until I could get to Goodyear the next day to get it repaired. I usually wait on my car because I don't have another car and I don't want to pay for an uber or cab. They do it quickly and properly.I have recommended them to everyone I know. I dropped my 1988 GMC Truck off at Hollywood Transmission & Automotive on Sunday afternoon. I…read moretold Dave I wanted to have the transmission rebuilt based on the way it had been operating with some intermittent clanking sounds and lower than normal fluid levels. He said he would take it for a test drive the following day to see if it could be repaired versus a full rebuild. I was surprised and appreciated that he wanted to try and repair it first, especially when I had already agreed to a rebuilt. Dave found that indeed there was a blown seal and the trans would only operate in two gear ranges. He also could tell that it had been rebuilt before using inexpensive components. Dave was correct, I had it rebuilt about 8 years ago and looked for the cheapest price I could find. I guess you get what you pay for? Monday evening I surprisingly received a text message from Dave with a detailed video showing the status and condition of my transmission with all the old parts and new parts ready to go in. I felt like Dave was the surgeon and I was right in the operating room with him for a play by play review. Tuesday evening I received pictures of my transmission with the new parts installed and was told I could pick it up Wednesday morning. Because of the (corona virus) and (me with secondary health issues) I called Dave when I arrived and asked if we could conduct the payment and pickup of my vehicle outside. Dave promptly met me outside wearing a mask and gloves. I thanked Dave, and we talked a bit, and I was on my way. The truck operated smoothly all the way home. I will definitely use Dave again and will recommend him to my family and friends. Frankly, Dave has spoiled me, I'm not use to receiving this type of quality customer service.

They come off as being very friendly and helpful, but they prey on your vulnerability. Long story short I went to Waldorf Ford and picked out a car. I had been in a car accident and received money from the Insurance company and obtained a car loan from the credit union. Waldorf Ford told me that I couldn't have what I wanted because the price I was offering was too low. So I went to Laplata Ford, they were welcoming and agreed to my offered price. I noticed there were scratches on the car and it also needed tires. The manager agreed to take care of this, in the coming days. The only thing replaced were the tires. Approximately 20 days after I had the car, I got a call from the LaPlata accounting office of the dealership stating that I owe $14,000. I told her no, I had paid everything in full. Then she proceeded to call me the next week stating that I need to pay the money that I owed them or return the car. The young man who processed my paperwork had subtracted $14,000, twice on my paperwork. I told her that I would be returning the car on Friday afternoon. I returned the car, thinking that I would get my money back and the accounting department would pay off my loan in an expeditious manner. After all, we paid them the same day.   Today, Oct 16, 2024, I have not received any money or credit for my car loan. This is unacceptable and unprofessional customer service. I would advise anyone looking to buy a car to do your research and stay away from these incompetent and inefficient group of crooks.
