Don't worry: you've come to the right place. Their office and shop (see the photos) is located on the lower levels of their house. They have everything you might expect in a small firearms training / gunsmithing shop, including a fair amount of surveillance cameras. Customer service / Knowledge: I spoke with Marie several times on the phone and via email before deciding to use these folks as my FFL for a purchase from Gunbroker.com. At each point they were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I'm confident they helped speed along the process. When my firearm arrived, they were quick to reach out to me to set up a time when I could pick it up. And finally, when I did pick up my firearm they were quick and to the point and answered all questions I had about their training offerings. Value for money: They have very reasonable FFL transfer fees (see their website or call them for current pricing) -- I paid $25 for a handgun. They do a fair bit of gunsmithing and are very knowledgeable about the NRA and gun laws, so they are a much better FFL (than others) in that respect. Tips: - Remember you're in a house. Ask them what direction to point your firearm in before attempting to clear / field strip it. - Appointments are advised (again: it's in a neighborhood) - Ask about their gunsmithing options - When taking a class, Marie provides lunch Summary: Easily accessible from all parts of Gwinnett county, these folks might be worth driving across town for if your current FFL or gunsmith isn't cutting it for you. We went over the basics of pistols, the laws surrounding it, and how to get our gun permit in the state of GA. We also all learned how to load a magazine with bullets. Then we all got to shoot two magazines with 9mm handguns. Very informative. Though I was tired, I got some pretty good shots and left the class more educated about the gun laws in my state than I did when I got there.

The only difference between the classes was that one was a little smaller than the other, but still comfortable. Ms. Jan was our instructor and I highly recommend her. She plainly set class expectations in the beginning and kept the class on task for the entire two-weeks. She was very good at highlighting important information about real estate rules, law, and prepared us for what would be on the exam. Her classroom management skills are stellar. I recently took the all female basic pistol course with AFT. There were 6 of us in the class, and…read morethe maximum class size is 12 so that everyone gets the necessary attention. I very much appreciated the small class size because it gave us more time to answer questions and for hands-on practice. Susan was our instructor, and she was great. She was both patient and eager with our questions, and quick to give a real life examples of the technical information provided. The two day course is perfect. The classroom day is heavy on safety and pistol knowledge. I thought that I wouldn't want all that information, but all of it was worthwhile. I ended that day comfortable with how a pistol works, how to handle misfires and hangfires, and how to safely grip and handle a pistol. I was initially nervous on the gun range day, but Tom, Susan and Michelle were so great - patient and encouraging. We were able to handle a variety of pistols and shot seated, standing with both hands and standing using one hand at a time. If found shooting oddly relaxing, and I zoned out a few times when shooting multiple shots at a time. I wanted to shoot more and if I'd had a gun, I could have. So if you have a gun, bring it with you (unloaded of course) and they'll work with you on your grip and shooting methods with it. It was hard to use so much of a weekend for this course (9:00-4:00 on Saturday and 8:30-2:00 on Sunday), but it was so, so worth it. Yelp 100 #60

These guys are top notch, and their instruction is suited to those who are beginners all the way to very experienced. Their understanding of ballistics proved particularly insightful for this course, and while I have a long way to go, this was a great introduction to this category, and I am very appreciative to Brian and John.
