Out of all the motorcycle repair shops I try to find out here in New Jersey this is the spot to go to. Every problem I had they fixed it like it was nothing. They really get the job done . When you call they pick up in 2-3 rings. I never had one issue here. This is the ONLY place I will take my bike to. I highly recommend this place!

Owner and mechanic of Bike Boys, Alex Borghi worked on my Harley Davidson. Quoted me $700 for work,…read moreincluded a hose replacement for an oil leak, oil and fluid change, he replaced my front and rear brakes. The service was good for two weeks, and we had a written and verbal agreement to pay in installments and that was agreed upon by both parties. Service has been paid $300/$700, until I had a small accident after using my rear brakes to shift down and stop at a red light. The rear wheel locked while in motion. After close examination the brake pad he replaced is nonexistent, and the piston went through the rotor. After a simple brake service in addition to other services done, I will now have to replace the brake caliper, the piston, rotor, and new brake pad, I will now be spending double to repair the bike after his damages. Mechanic Alex has since blocked my number and ghosted me after agreeing to fix the issue he caused. I will be pursuing this issue to the highest extent of the law. Thankfully I am not dead. He has zero organization and poor communication. The issue has since been professionally diagnosed and not based on assumption! Harley compatible parts were not used for the brake servicing! Also not disclosed was the ongoing issue Alex had while doing my rear brakes, to the point that diagrams had to be looked up to determine whether or not he was correct! Not only was the tone and choice of words on the phone call I had to make from a separate number despicable but extremely rude to a customer and friend he had a personal friendship with. The issue after being professionally diagnosed was deemed not a user error but a mechanical error. Mr. Borghi since has still not returned any call or message and since deemed he is not responsible for the work done when clearly he was the only person to touch my brakes. There should be no surprise after reading this review as this will remain on his conscious forever!

I was also happy to see the Motorcycle Mall name come to Monmouth because I had fond memories of buying my first motorcycle at their shop in Belleville in 1996. When the touchscreen on my 2020 Yamaha FX SVHO Waverunner stopped responding, I called the dealership close to my house in Tom's River. They told me that because they were prepping everyone's skis for the summer they had no appointments available and that I should call some time after Memorial Dsy just to try to get an appointment. They also let me know that mine was a common problem and that the parts were delayed and difficult to get. I called Motorcycle Mall and was able t speak with James who confirmed what Toms River told me but suggested I get it to them to diagnose. He gave me a drop off appointment for the following week. When I arrived, there was no question that they were just as taxed with servicing existing customers also eager to start their PWC season. The place was a bit of a madhouse. Construction, painting, and customers and their machines everywhere. The staff not only assured me that they would get to my ski that week but they had someone come and unhook the trailer from my truck with the same care I use myself. They understood the value of my possessions to me and could not have been more respectful. Both Teddy and James explained to me that the parts were likely going to be delayed but they needed to diagnose the problem in order to get the process started. I left the ski and as promised, they assessed it the very next day and called me immediately to tell me they were going to start the warranty process and order the needed parts but again warned me that it could be weeks and maybe even months. I got a call about two weeks later saying the part was in and that they wanted to schedule the repair. Expecting multiple week delay, I was shocked when James asked me about MY schedule and preference to get it to them. He explained that it should be a quick job and we decided it would be dropped off the following week. When I returned with it I got the same five star service with assistance unhooking and I left. I got a call the next day and was told I could pick it up at any time. No charge for the service at all. No extra fees that I could have expected. When I went back to get it I was extremely grateful for the way my case was handled. The place was still chaotic but James and Teddy gave me their undivided attention. When I said that I would have understood if they put me off until they could get some of the work off their desks at this time of year, Teddy told me that they genuinely care about their customers and understand how much their equipment means to them. I have a stressful job like so may do and my ability to get on the water is a significant contributer to my mental health. These guys get it. With the decline of customer service in all industries the response I got from Teddy, James and their staff was actually shocking. I would adamantly recommend using them for the service of all of your power sport toys. Five stars isn't enough! Thank you motorcycle mall. I picked up my ski and went right to the ocean! Be safe friends.

HD will not even change the oil on any bike that is 10 years old or older, because they do not have the expertise in their shops. Forget about the HD price. I have used several "mechanics" in central and north Jersey and mostly walked away upset for various reasons. I have over 35000 miles on the original engine and transmission. I don't know how many miles will end up on this bike, but I will never sell it while I am still riding. When the 20K mile inspection was due, there were three recommendations, 1) replace the original tensioners, 2) upgrade to hydraulic, 3) upgrade to gear drive after taking runouts. Pricing was reasonable so I chose option 3 with an upgrade to racing cams. They also put 2 new tires on. This basically transformed my 88 from a tired (ready to be replaced) old man Harley to a bike that carries two at highway speeds with plenty of power to maneuver. I recommend this shop. Planning is the key to success. Call and make an appointment. They may cost a little more, they may take a little longer but I guarantee the HD dealer won't even talk to you unless you purchase a new bike. Take your hard earned money; find a comfortable, reliable ride and commit to having these guys wrench. When my 05 stops I am probably done riding but may consider keeping it in the garage to remember countless trips. Florida Keys, Laconia, and Sturgis are all on the calendar for 25. Did the Homecoming last year and Laconia. Stop whining about a few bucks. Get your face in the wind and see how lucky we are to have your freedom to see this great country. Peace, out. DC

I only was interested in fixing my bike not spending anymore money than I already accrued. The most aggravating and disturbing thing was the fact that my bike wasn't returned to me the way I left it. When he put it back together he used the wrong screws, damaging my threads! Again, my bike was in brand new condition with all new parts and screws. And returned to me with dirty, corroded parts and pieces. Do not bring your bike here find someone else or you'll be better off getting a Honda. Husqvarna customer service is horrible. I had to keep calling him to inquire about my bike after weeks. He never followed up with me which is horrible service!
