John's has a few carts around the city but this is his storefront. It's right in the center of Copenhagen's meatpacking district and overshadowed by Warpigs' large signs. This hot dog spot is legit. We got the wild boar sausage with remoulade and it was pretty amazing. You can then take it up the fixings bar and dress it up however you like it. But the magic to this place is the hot sauces that John makes. Everything is made by him and he has sauces that go from mid to burn you a new a-hole. This comes as a huge surprise as it seems the Danish can't handle their heat. If you like hot dogs and enjoy great hot sauces, give John's some love.

Extremely delicious hotdog combinations! Fries are soooo crispy and you can choose out of six local craft beers, one of them seemed house made. Cool location, old slaughter complex with different nice and alternate bars. If you're in Copenhagen you'll need to go here to eat and drink something!

Stopped here after a disappointing fancy dinner next door. As a Native New Yorker, I went with the mustard, remoulade, and both kinds of onions, and that's it. Ketchup doesn't belong on a hot dog, and the other toppings looked nice, but not my style. I'm glad I did because the hot dog casing was incredible. It literally snapped when I bit into it and it was so much fun to eat. It's my second favorite hot dog, behind the one at Reffen, but it's head and shoulders above the regular street dogs you'd get in Copenhagen from the stands. John also has a stand that's near the train station most days, but I didn't find it when I looked a few days ago.

I wish I had more appetite or a bigger stomach so I can order everything. We got to try the beef burger with the sauce that reminds me of stroganoff. It was delicious. We also got some spicy hotdogs which were delicious. They had beer her and I opted for an elderberry cider (I think) and a Danish soda. The folks who work here are great. Yeah food is still lingering in my mind. The space is warm and comfy. I think this might be a chain, so not sure how other spots are but this place is great.

Came here to try their unforgettable hotdogs and definitely enjoyed them. The variety of toppings and relish made them so unique. When they call you up then you can decide what type you want: we had one of each of them. At 8pm we tried to order the hamburger but they ran out. Make sure you give them time because they do backed up and may take a little while to get your hotdog to you. There are lots of other bars here I believe, and when we went there a loud outdoor concert was down the block. I would have checked it out of I didn't have a baby with me.

Great hot dogs! Very meaty sausages and a big and interesting buffet with many toppings and sauces.

Firstly, I'm a tourist from Seattle. Just to give some background. I thought that I'd be eating hot…read moredogs and bratwurst in Berlin (which I did), but these hot dogs stood out to me the most! During my vacation research, it said that these organic hotdogs in Copenhagen were not to be missed, so when I saw the little food truck outside of Torvehallerne, I was really excited. (Full disclosure: I don't really know what "organic hotdogs" means...) My friends and I got three to share: the original (klassisk dansk), red devil, and nordisk hotdog. They were all good, but I really enjoyed the red devil. Their pickled toppings were really good!! I would definitely recommend eating here. They're not that big though so I'd think of it more as a snack--go back inside Torvehallerne and get something extra from the other excellent good stalls if it's going to be your meal!

I had two "Red Devils", they were really good, the spot only has and I'm assuming, only four types…read moreof dogs, so don't expect various choices. The place is a bit of a challenge to find if you're a tourist (like me) and if you're relying on your smart phone GPS, the gps tends to throw one a bit off where it really is. It's not a food truck, basically is a kiosk, small, does not have any tables but it's conveniently located within this plaza where other restaurants are located and there are tables with seats to sit there and eat. Price are like anything that's considered street food, not too bad, they do take credit cards and for all you Danish challenged people, the guy attending the places does speak English.
