I was prepared to pay a premium price as this place is located at the Gilroy Shopping Outlets, but I was pleasantly surprised price was not that bad for location. I had quotes from places in San Jose and Morgan Hill around 20-25, so 17.95 plus tax is okay in my books as it's also conveniently located in the area I was originally waiting anyways. I was the first one at his shop since it opened at 11am and he just took my watch and started working on it. Took less than a minute. Yes, I know he just pops the back off, but setting the time, and taking my payment was part of the 1 minute. I now have 1 hour and 58 mins to burn!

These wonderful people treated me like a king when all I wanted was some of the least profitable work. I had two watch batteries replaced and asked them to help with a watchband I'd bought from another jeweler and had to take back three times because it kept coming off at one end. Instead of selling me a watchband ... they start at thirty bucks for that watch on Amazon ... they figured out that the other shop had inserted the wrong hold-down spring, and hardly charged me anything for doing so. It's amazingly hard to find a business that will do these little job at all in this area, and John's did it for less money. A LOT less money. Everything has continued to work well with my watches, too. Just one thing: Ask them to leave you off of their text message marketing program, or you'll get text interruptions on your phone. They're VERY nice, and I'm sure they will. read more

I had a great experience at John Jewelers! I came in looking for a specific material--Continuum silver--to mount a radiant diamond for a pinky ring. Cindy was incredibly helpful and ordered a few different styles for me to try on before I made my final choice. We had the ring customized to be "solid" (filled in the back), and the finished product is perfect. It's stronger and brighter than standard silver thanks to the palladium content. Huge thanks to Cindy and Jazmin for making the process so easy. The price was fair, the turnaround was a quick three weeks, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. Highly recommended! read more

They gave me a quote and the bill was less than quoted and they had the work done much sooner than expected. I saw from the sign that he will rhodium your white gold jewelry - and seeing that one of my rings needed some work done - left it with him ($75) to work on. Now this is one of my favorite rings, with my dad's baguettes from his wedding ring in it, made for me from a different jeweler - but I felt comfortable with Jack to do this. I just had a feeling I could trust him. About two weeks later when I had the time to go back (He had told me 3 days) I was able to make it into his store - and the ring just looked great, polished with the rhodium placed back on it to protect it as best it could. Now with the trust built in with his work - I asked him to make my wedding band for me. And he is working on that now. I'll b back soon to leave another review on that item!
