    This is what I ordered

the flowers I ordered were NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE! I was very disappointed when my sister sent me the picture of what she received.

I had Roses delivered 2/11/26 left on my porch since I wasn't home. They were all open and starting to wilt, I called next day they were replaced, plus again all already open. I questioned the driver about them being opened, he said that's the way they should be. Today is 2/17/26 the roses are wilting. I highly suggest not to use this florist.

My confirmation email included the arrangements name and a photo!

Along with so many others I found John's flower shop through Telaflora but I never order through them. I find the buisness's page and ordered from John's own website that he runs and puts his own photos of available arrangements on there. I live in Arkansas but my daughter lives and was having surgery in Jersey. I could not go be with her but I still wanted her to know I care and bring her some joy. I was grateful when she texted me how happy they made her. That's what I was hoping for. Mind you I picked a very specific bouquet because we used to watch Cougar Town and we both loved the look of Ellie's pink and light green decor everywhere. I actually made the order at 2 am on March 25th 2026 so only the next day had any availability to be delivered. Unfortunately Mar 26th was the day after her surgery. I called them as soon as they opened today just to see if they could deliver today and he acted like there were no other orders and had all the time for me. Not really friendly and a bit gruff then he suddenly rushed the call and hung up. No biggie since customer service is rough. Well then my daughter sent me a pic of what they delivered. I told her I'm glad she liked them but inside I was boiling! Finally I check the reviews and I can't believe this guy has been pulling this scam for at least 5 years in the same town without closing shop. It seems like he has a bunch of "arrangements" made ahead of time (from the flowers appearance at least 7 days ahead) then he just grabs one and drops it off and most of the time people don't know what someone actually sent from multiple states away. Easy money if you don't care about your customers or community. Only plus he gets is he's a speedy delivery guy but the arrangement was also speedily created. Wrong colors, flowers and vase. The arrangement I ordered is literally called Polka Dots and Posies! Instead it looks like they cleaned out the walk in and all the strays laying around got shoved into the boring vase we've all seen a million times at every thrift store and yard sale. The amount of flowers was about half I ordered (paid good money for) yet no greenery or even baby's breath to fill in the spaces. Looks like some tried to play a game of pick-up-sticks with them. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and Telaflora. I never even called the florist to complain because everyone here says he promise to deliver a new one but doesn't show up and the times he does with flowers that are usually even worse. Lesson learned. Always check reviews first!! Not a complete waste since my baby girl smiled!

Dead on arrival, I took these out of the bouquet (in my vase) . Will try to post picture of remaining live flowers.

Flowers ordered for 1/2 anniversary were delivered on 12/28. They were not arranged but just jammed in a vase. Most were dead by 12/30. Don't order from this place!

basket ordered - small vase recieved

This business does have a reachable email address, or fax number available to customers. Only the landline phone number. Toms River Florist This is a quick note to express my disappointment with the apparent substitution of a vase assortment of flowers rather than the basket arrangement ordered. The summer arrangement was different from what I had expected, it was evident from the card requested that this was an anniversary gift, (56 years) I would have hoped a substitution would have been from that collection. (anniversary). Thank you for reading this note and allowing me to express my disappointment.

My niece ordered through Uber Eats a birthday floral arrangement at a cost of $95. What I received was a decaying arrangement with brown dirty water in the vase and decaying dried pink roses. It seems this arrangement was sitting for a week or more. John's Riverside Florist did not even bother to change the water in the glass vase before delivering it. This is unacceptable service for a Florist. The next day the pink roses were already dropping. This arrangement didn't last one day. Do not order from this florist. Fair warning.

Pollen left in the middle of this lily as well as a few others.

By the reviews I have seen on here and many other sites I'm not surprised. I ordered flowers on the telaflora website for my best friends birthday to be delivered on 10/9/24. Doing an online order can be a hit or miss to be honest. I have worked in over 3 or 4 different florist shops and I have an understanding on how things go. I do understand that if the florist doesn't have what is in the photo they can substitute for equal value or more. Meaning the flowers or vases. When you send a piece out for delivery, you should always, ALWAYS have someone else check your work. In other florist shops I've worked at everyone would always check each others work to ensure that things aren't missing or just simply to make sure you have another pair of eyes to catch anything you did not. I don't care if you are a florist for 30 years or 1 year, a team ensures backup, opinions, insight, help, makes sure everyone is in check and that the piece you are sending out is the best it should be. A lot of people say it's all about the details. Even the smallest details. Im not a professional nor a perfectionist. But from what I've learned I think I have a right to be a little upset with what was delivered to my best friend. Especially since I paid for premium. I will be attaching pictures. One of the roses that was in the vase had brown on its petal, as a florist you should know that maybe water got into it while it was in the cooler and was sitting on it longer than expected but that means maybe you should pluck that petal out of the rose, meaning you should always check your roses. it was simple enough I made her feel the rose to ensure it's till hard and alive but also pluck that one petal. One of the lilies had its pollen removed from the center but a whole bunch of pollen spread on the white lily. You should also know if you take a pipe cleaner you can easily get the pollen off the lily petal with no problem... not just leaving it like it's ok. But then of course the other lilies in the piece still had pollen on them, not even looking like you tried to take it off. So it's pretty to take one off and leave a mess but leave the rest on? Not only that the piece had a good shape but one random gerber Daisy was sticking out all weird. Which I understand in transportation it can happen but your staff should be trained to be able to fix little things as such to ensure quality. Also asked for a silver or white ballon if possible. If you didn't have any type of those balloons you should have just called like any florist would to suggest a different ballon or not put one at all. We would always call customers if not sure, to better understand or to simple confirm with them. So not only did I have her and her boyfriend pluck the rotting rose petal, wipe off the Lily's, pluck the pollen from the lilys, fix the random position of the flower, and even more.... Is that really a birthday present? Having to fix your own present? All I'm saying is for $90-$97ish dollars of a premium flower vase piece you couldn't double check triple check or even just insure quality or some type of perfection before sending it out? I'm just disappointed. I'm not one to never judge or never complain or do confrontation but it's just like come on. But flowers are my passion and give people happiness in a different way, you should be willing to go above and beyond for the littlest things to make people happy. I requested akito, escimo, or tibet roses instead of crème roses which was done and I appreciate it. But one thing out of the whole piece, is it worth it? All I have to say is just disappointed. I'm sure anyone else would be upset as well. You are lucky my friend is so whole hearted and the sweetest person on the earth that will love anything you give to her. But she did not deserve this. Period.

I ordered flowers (from For You Flowers) to be sent to a friend who's father passed away. I ordered the Southern Peach Bouquet in the Deluxe size, the cost with everything included was $72.48. The flowers were delivered this morning and my friend sent me a few photos to say thank you and I was absolutely shocked at the arrangement - it is nothing like what I ordered. I get that there can be substitutions and that there's a policy for this: Substitution Policy Substitutions may be necessary to ensure your arrangement is delivered in a timely manner. "The utmost care and attention is given to your order to ensure that it is as similar as possible to the requested item." Flowers "In arrangements of assorted flowers, the colors shown online will be used if at all possible, even if this means substituting other kinds of flowers of equal or greater value." For one-of-a-kind flower arrangements, such as all roses or all lilies, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color. "If the floral container shown online is not available, a similar container will be used." I'm not understanding the "utmost care and attention" part - what I ordered and what was sent are pretty much worlds apart. These were to be sympathy flowers and that was stated on the card so not unknown, and that is why I ordered soft, muted colors. What was sent were bright, vibrant colored flowers, like something you'd send for a birthday. And the vase, not even a close substitute and dare I say, I've rarely gone to a florist that didn't have a square cube. Honestly, I could have picked an arrangement like this up at the local grocery store for a fraction of what I paid and stuck it in a Dollar Store vase. I don't understand why, if basically none of the flowers that are stated to be included in this arrangement were available and so many significant substitutions had to be made, why I wasn't contacted before this was made and delivered? I could have chosen another arrangement; I could have directed the florist to do their best using all white flowers, or any flowers they had on hand that were pastel, muted colors. I feel like something could have been done to prevent a completely different arrangement being delivered. What I should have done was order from a local florist of MY choosing, rather than trust For You Flowers to properly vet the florists they use. That's another zero star review - don't use For You Flowers either! Zero stars for John's Riverside Florist - do not understand, based on all the negative reviews, how they are still in business.

AWFUL!!!! I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from this garbage place! Had flowers sent to my dear cousin for her 50th....paid for an upgrade. Photos are what I ordered compared to what was sent. What a scam!!!! No integrity.....what nerve!!!!

    Broken basket

Terrible service. Fruit in the basket was all brown and rotten. The bananas had a paid sticker on them from Shop Rite and the basket was broken.
