Thankfully I found Joe. He was knowledgeable, funny, a great guy and didn't try to upsell a thing. He replaced my water heater at a great price. While he was here my sewer was backing up when he tried to drain the water heater. He asked that we get it cleared before he finished the job. We called Homeservice plumbers and they came out, said there was a block and they would have to tear up the basement and the starting price was almost 7k. More if they found other problems and they repeatedly tried to use, used car sales tactics and scare tactics to get me to replace Joe as my plumber and destroy the basement to clear a "block". Joe recommended Colorado Sewer Service and they came out and cleared the "block" in 10 minutes for 1/50th of what they were going to charge to tear up the basement and install a new unnecessary pipe just to begin with, which I am sure they would have tried to turn into a 20k plus job. Joe did a fast and excellent job and is just a good human being. I cannot say enough good things about this man and his business. Without a doubt I will use him for every job I need in the future. We have been fairly "whelmed" with this lawn care service until our final contracted appointment,…read morewhich was today. Our initial set-up with our contract was unnecessarily complicated with a customer service rep that was absolutely unwilling to provide an initial aeration, even though it was included in the package we selected, because it was "too late in their aeration schedule." It took considerable arguing to get that aeration, again even though it was explicitly listed in the package we chose, and we still had to pay extra for the single service. Since then, the best part of our handful of treatments has been the weed service. No complaints there. Otherwise, we've seen no difference with the other treatments we've received. That brings us to our final service. The technician arrived far earlier than we expected, which I suppose isn't fair game to complain about, as this company does not provide a time with their service window. Only a date. The technician was FLYING through the service, with very little care for where he was going. We realized after he left that he drove his aeration machine (essentially a riding lawnmower) over our flower beds (ripping out several of my plants), dislodged two of our flagstones, and partially knocked over our fence. Nice! Finally, with this particularly bad treatment, the notification email told us to flag our sprinkler heads. It was our mistake for forgetting to do this (again, he arrived much earlier than we anticipated) but one would imagine that they would at least ask if we had any sprinkler heads before driving the aeration machine over the lawn. Our forgetfulness and this technician's hastiness to finish the job also resulted in one of our sprinkler heads getting a bite taken out of it. It is too bad that this final service left such a sour taste in our mouths. I wouldn't have left a review at all if the technician hadn't been so careless.
