I then bought a condo and sold it after a few years and when I thought of where I'd rent again- I looked here and one other place and this just felt like the right fit again, safe, and something I could still afford in my own. I love the pool and clubhouse redesign, and there are tons of friendly staff here to help out! The actual apartments have had a facelift which is great! Hopefully I'm not bias, but I think this is my 4th year living here and I don't see myself leaving until I buy my next property.

Management does not care about your quality of life or right to peace or SLEEP. If you work a job that requires you to function, if you need sleep, or if you want to avoid being bit by viscious dogs, avoid this place at all costs. I know many families that have paid to break their lease for the safety of their children. Owners do not pick up poop and the gated neighborhood is actually a high traffic area/cut through for many people avoiding Winston traffic. Gate code is shared upon the Winston population. While the office staff is pleasant and polite, the ownership operates like slumlords while charging premium rental prices. The biggest issue has been the HVAC system. It is completely insufficient for the unit. Any time the temperature reaches 80 degrees or higher, the system goes out. The repair company even informed ownership that the unit needed to be replaced -- and ownership refused. Instead of addressing the root problem, they chose not to replace it. When I tried to put plastic over the poorly sealed windows to help with insulation, I was told via email that it would be a violation of my lease. Instead, they provided a single window AC unit. That unit only cooled the living room and did nothing for the bedrooms. Because the bedroom windows had been sealed with rubber cement (their solution), I removed the cement from the bedroom windows and installed another window unit so I could sleep comfortably. I was then told that keeping that unit installed would also be a lease violation. So to summarize: insulating drafty windows was a violation, properly cooling the bedroom was a violation -- but leaving tenants in excessive heat was acceptable. The windows themselves are in poor condition and allow cold air in during winter and hot air in during summer. When I raised this issue, I was told via email, "it's an old house." That would be understandable if the rent reflected that -- but they charge premium rates. Their "fix" of putting rubber cement on the windows also creates what I believe is a potential fire hazard. There was also a leaking ceiling that required ongoing back-and-forth before it was addressed. Mold and mildew developed in the bathrooms due to poor ventilation and poor circulation. I have an arm's-length list of maintenance requests that reflect a pattern of temporary fixes instead of proper repairs. Again, the office staff is courteous. The ownership, however, consistently chooses the cheapest solution over the correct one.

As my daughter and I tried in vain to fix it, we discovered the cause. The ceiling had caved in. The air conditioning, poorly maintained at best, was malfunctioning (again). It leaked water all over our furniture and important papers. The maintenance guys finally showed up and stated they were fixing the problem. They didn't. Now they have me living without central air in the 95 degree heat. I called the manager and told her this was unacceptable. She was rude and hostile, refused to pro vide any remedy other than a small window unit (to serve the entire house???). There was mold, mildew and water everywhere. And they did absolutely nothing. She wouldn't even provide information for her manager. I finally found the information on google, and her manager was equally unresponsive and unhelpful. Since I have lived here, they have failed to answer service calls in a timely fashion, always with a plethora of excuses. But the bottom line is, they care only about collecting the rent money, not about providing good (or even decent) service for the rental. They know what they can get away with and they press that to their full advantage.

Honestly, they may have even had me as a renter if they hadn't made such a terrible first impression. No thanks.

Many of my neighbors and friends who lived in the community also reported similar issues with difficulty having issues resolved/addressed. It also would take multiple days to resolve issues like the hole in the ceiling. These photos are just some examples of leaks I experienced in the short time frame I was there including two leaks from two different areas from the apartment's ceiling with one coming down onto the toilet/bathroom with a disgusting color. I would not recommend this apartment.

We have been living here for almost a year now. The apartment is great, gives up everything we…read moreneed in apartment living. When we do submit a repair request, they usually get in touch with fixing the problem in a timely matter. Management, has been really friendly even after we signed a lease. The only areas I would love to see improved are, First, increased smoking trash bins (I am not a smoker, but too many times I find cigarette buds on the ground behind/ or in front of buildings. There are designated smoking areas that responsible people go to, but of course you always have a few, and it just makes the surroundings trashy.) Secondly, we do like to recycle, and there is only one recycle bin located on the opposite side of the facility. Would be great to have a second recycle dumpster located on that side, so that people can utilize both recycle dumpsters depending on where you live. All in all besides those two suggestions, we feel very safe there and it is convenient to many shops in the Hanes Mall area.

A couple of weeks ago, my tree service provider informed me that Landura never paid him for the work he did at Woodbridge Apartments in Arden, North Carolina. This was shortly after Hurricane Helene, when tree services were in high demand across Western North Carolina. At the time, Woodbridge was under the management of Landura. He's now taking Landura to court and is charging interest on the unpaid amount. He provided prompt service not only at my apartment complex but also at another property managed by Landura, which was owned by my sister. Unfortunately, due to financial mismanagement and deficit spending during that period, my sister ultimately had to sell the property at a loss. Please do your due diligence when working with Landura Management.

They only had one licensed HOA representative and when he quit they tried to continue handing our HOA account without a licensed employee. Worst experience ever. Fortunately we now have a fabulous HOA company and they have accomplished more in a month than Landura did over a two year period. I would not recommend them to anyone. Horrible experience.
