Chocolate coated almonds are amazing with just enough chocolate and perfectly toasted almonds.
Michelle C.

Stopped in to buy some chocolates and was delighted at the variety offered here. The staff are lovely, offering a sample and working patiently with their customers. The chocolate coated sea foam is a family favorite and the chocolate coated nut clusters really let each ingredient shine.

Figure out who this is and rid her to benefit your company. She is a bad example of good customer service.

My friend and I were so excited to stop by here to check it out, but unfortunately the front counter employee was not excited for our visit. We walked around the shop as she was staring us down to hurry up. I walked to the front to look at what was displayed behind the counters and the front counter lady was SOOOO pushy and rude! I asked a few questions about the chocolates and she was just giving me very uncomfortable and short/rude very unhelpful responses. It was very unnecessary for her to treat me and my friend like that and rush us out of her store because she was lazy to give us a good experience and give us our time to enjoy the view of the treats. It felt in a way that she was racist since we were people of color or that she was very unhappy within herself to be giving off so much negative energy to people who want to support the business. My friend witnessed the entire interaction and decided to put back her items because of how she heard her talking to me& I should have done the same, but I was really trying to give her a chance, but she continued to fail completely. I highly recommend to get rid of her to eliminate loss of business from potential customers! There was an elderly lady that was picking up around the store, she should take over because she seems way more genuine and kind. Overall experience was a negative star all because of the one person behind the counter. Sad to say, she was super unprofessional and RUDE! That was enough for me to come on here to share my unpleasant experience and I will probably never return here or recommend

Love Johnson's. I am lucky to be within walking distance for my sweet tooth cravings. They sell Jelly Belly's bulk in glass jars (pear, root beer, cherry cola...Mmm), they have cute little gifts perfect for your Grandma, Mom, or favorite Auntie. I LOVE all of their chocolates and caramels under their glass display case. Try their peppermint patties, salted caramels, and chocolate covered everything's. They also make a really good Divinity with chopped nuts, and have a small selection of sugar free candies for my diabetic Gramps. Visit Johnson's and stock up!

Milk chocolate dipped ice cream bar!

I tried their milk chocolate hand dipped ice cream bar and it was delicious. I want to go back and try their caramel apples and candy too.

Fudge from Johnson's Candy company, labeled as NO NUTS that clearly had some nuts in it.

WARNING: fudge here labeled NUT FREE had nuts in them! See photo. Fortunately, my father has only a non-life-threatening allergy, but people with more serious allergies should not trust the labels at this store.

Old school Tacoma with chocolates made in house. Reasonable prices for both chocolate, cards and gifts. A must stop while visiting Tacoma.

Carol was kind enough for me to try the seafoam (a caramelized honey-comb covered in milk chocolate).

Our daughter lives near the Lake Stevens, Wa Haagen's Grocery and purchased some Old Town Salted…read moreCaramels just before a visit from family last month. Knowing her mother (that's me) is a fan of caramel, she showed me the small bag explaining "they're really expensive". As they might be if homemade, these caramels are wrapped in parchment, twisted on each end and come 12 per sweet little bag for $20 (roughly). Because they're large (about 3/4"x1"x2", I had one, shared a second and the hook was thoroughly set. OMG these are exceptional. The quality is silly-good. I drove 350 miles home from our visit and looked online to learn how to get my hands on MORE. My location in remote NE Wa State proved a caramel desert so I ordered one bag of twelve and with shipping and tax the cost was $33. Yes, it was a plunk but they are worth it for a treat of such quality. I imagined sharing with friends lucky enough to drop by. The Sea Salt caramels shipped quickly and with USPS tracking info I followed their route. "They're in Kent!!" I told my husband; then "they're in Spokane!!" and when I knew the delivery was imminent I watched for Kathy our rural letter carrier. A thoughtful person, Kathy came down the 600' driveway because the parcel was marked that it should be protected from heat. I was riding the lawn tractor but raced over to catch Kathy and opened the box to offer her one. She was reluctant but I told her, "they're the best caramels I've ever eaten" so she took one and continued her route. Upon further investigation of the box I noticed a bonus package of six regular vs sea salt caramels. An unanticipated kindness. Averaging three per day I plowed through all (18-Kathy's) caramels in record time. My husband enjoyed them as much but he's a better wrangler of his own impulse control. He had two per day at most. My last day was a record FOUR. Here's the thing: I'll be seventy by year's end and am an accomplished baker and have made caramels myself. I'm not a substance abuser; am HWP and eat an organic menu. This gluttony is unusual for sure. But they're that dang good! A lesson was learned, but not the lesson one might expect. It's this: I won't bother making caramels again. Thank you Old Town Delights for such a lovely confection.
