While I HATE getting dental work performed (I have very sensitive teeth, so it's never pleasant), I can't say I hate going to my dentist, because the staff there are so incredibly thoughtful, kind, and caring. My dental hygienist remembers me and is always so friendly, asking me detailed questions about what's going on in my life (and with my teeth, of cours), and she feels more like a friend that a healthcare provider. She offers unbiased advice about caring for my teeth (from whitening to removing rough spots where parts of my teeth have chipped due to my grinding to the best use of toothpaste and how to decrease my teeth sensitivity). My dentist, Dr. Todd, is always cheerful, positive, and honest. When I needed to have an emergency implant (I thought I simply needed a filling replaced and was leaving the country in 3 days), he immediately got me in touch with a colleague who could handle the procedure to get the bad tooth removed and begin the preparations for the implant before I got on a plane. I always recommend Jo. Co. Dental Care. (And I'm still annoyed at my husband for continuing to insist on going to a different dentist. Maybe I should simply tell him his dentist is no longer in-network on our dental plan so he'll switch! LOL) read more

The Dentist and Dental Assistant were very professional and personable. The Dental Assistant worked seamlessly with the dentist. She took x-rays and prepared the teeth for fillings with pumice treatment. The Dentist came in almost immediately and read the x-rays, examined the teeth and retracted the lips with a mirror to allow the DA to take pictures. He then numbed the area. A few minutes later he started the work of filling the cavities and contouring the affected teeth. The process was efficient and quickly completed. He gave me an oral report to pass on to my regular dentist. It was a very good and totally painless experience. The local anesthetic work of quickly (inlets than 20 minutes) and there was no residual pain. The fillings were invisible. read more

I have been going to Dr Todd since 2005 and I wouldn't consider going elsewhere. When a procedure is recommended I know that it is the best for me, I haven't been in a situation where Dr Todd recommended a procedure that was unnecessary. I started going to Dr Todd because my prior dentists kept recommending procedures I didn't feel were necessary. I have had more dental procedures than most people because I took poor care of my teeth when I was younger. Most of the dental work/problems were prior to Dr Todd. I have 6 crowns and have had probably 20-30 fillings, my teeth and gums were a mess when I arrived at Dr Todd. Now my mouth and teeth are in a very healthy condition. read more

I cannot begin to describe how amazing Dr. Todd and Dr. Lisa are. Every visit we (my husband, myself, and 4 young children) have ever had with them and their staff has been excellent. Most Importantly - Last night both Dr. Todd and Dr. Lisa met me and my 10 year old daughter at the office at 7:30pm after she was hit in the mouth with a softball breaking her teeth off. They were caring, attentive and thorough. They made sure all of our questions were answered and my sweet girl was taken care of. I am forever grateful. read more

I've been going to Johnson Co. Dental Care for over 10 years now. I would highly recommend them to anyone who ask. The staff is always freindly & professional. The schedulers are very flexible and work hard for me to get myself and my two kids scheduled at the same day at the same time. Dr. Thurlow is very attentive and detailed. Mary is my hygienist and does her due diligence to keep me in-line to make sure I take good care of my teeth. I don't think I'll be changing dentist again for quite some time. read more

Great service recently, as always. Even with the extra precautions due to the current pandemic, everything went smooth and I was out in no time. They check your temp and ask a few questions in the waiting room, then you continue to wear your mask back to your chair. You wash your hands, then gargle a solution for 30 seconds. At that point, you are ready to go. My hygienist was completely gowned up including a faceshield, but she was efficient and thorough as always. read more

At first I was extremely disappointed that my regular hygienist no longer worked there. Dentist visits aren't a fun thing for me to do. The receptionist told me I'd love Bobbi, my new hygienist. She was right. Bobbi was gentle, personable and very good at what she did. Dr.Todd's new partner Dr. Kim was a pleasure and a delight as a professional. The dental hygienists and dentists are all professional, kind, and personable. I had a great experience here! I had a crown on my front tooth that came off. Even as a new patient, they were able to get me in very quickly and create a new crown the same day as my appointment. It matches my teeth perfectly and honestly looks better than the old one. The staff and dentist were very pleasant and the experience was stress free and painless. they are horrible. obviously you can tell they take medical card cause that's all they care about is money.it's not a fun loving environmen, my kids were scared to keep going back to them because his teeth weren't great. but we are there trying, habe respect and encourage them to do better not tear them down and make them feel disgusting, shameful place. read more
