Unfortunately I had numerous dental issues that had to be addressed, including extractions, crowns and bridge work. All of my visits were beyond satisfactory, the latest one today being prepped for bridge work. I am scheduled to go back on March 7 for the permanent bridge. The quality of care was exceptional, performed with diligence and kindly concern. The office experience, from ease of scheduling to check-out, was also excellent. I said let's go ahead and make a retainer - she then asked if I would be interested Invisalign, they would have to do the same scans either way. If I decide it's too expensive/didn't want it, they would just get me a retainer made. My teeth are pretty straight as I had braces as a child. They came back with $5,000 for Invisalign. I said no thank you to that and would just like a retainer made. They then told me that would cost $650. I said that is not what I was quoted. They told me they would call me back. Three weeks went by with no word so I called back. They then sent me in circles, Maria asked why I would want to retain the gaps in my teeth, I let her know that I do not have any gaps.. she then asked why I would want to retain crowding.. I again let her know I had no crowding and asked if she was even looking at my file. She said she was and that if I had braces x amount of years ago not to even worry about it. I asked why the hygienist would suggest a retainer and Maria said "she's not in orthodontics, she's just a hygienist" and then said she could have a retainer made for $350. I again advised that is not what I was quoted and she said "well our prices went up". I said okay, no thank you and please cancel my next appointment. She called back 10 minutes later and said she was "looking at the wrong file" and they would make me a top and bottom retainer for $250 total. All that said, it just felt very scamy and very much bullying. Not sure if they get commission on selling Invisalign or what but they weren't even looking at my file and asking me, in the same conversation, why I would want to retain gaps and crowding.. overall terrible experience. Would not recommend going here.

I appreciate that the equipment they have here does not feel or seem outdated which helps me feel like they care to provide the best care possible. After years of debilitating headaches and many incorrect diagnosis I was finally correctly…read morediagnosed with TMJ. An oral surgeon referred me to Dr. Herre. I was immediately impressed with Dr. Herre's knowledge of TMJ. He also teaches other dentist how to treat this condition so I would consider him an expert. Dr. Herre made me a bite splint and at first, I will be honest, the expense was really hard to swallow. However, when you consider that the hour long follow up visits (all included) for weeks and weeks afterwards, it really makes the cost more understandable. Anyway, I have had my bite splint for 5 weeks now and the proof is in the pudding. I went from someone who spent probably 10 days a month in bed with migraines to being nearly headache free. Before I also had other symptoms like not being able to chew foods, ear pain, facial pain and all of it has disappeared. My husband is thrilled that I'm not tired all the time anymore. I cannot say how pleased I am with the results so far.

I have had the same Hygienist, Fern, for as long as I can remember, Louise has greeting me since I started going there and I appreciate the family atmosphere of the practice. Their staff is obviously loyal for a reason. They are a great bunch of people. My entire family sees the Herre's. Over the years I have gotten sealants, fillings and broken teeth removed on top of my regular visits and I have always felt at ease. I am never intimidated and as Dr. Scott will tell you, I never cried! It's a nice treat to go to what is usually a dreaded experience and actually sort of enjoy myself and feel cared for.

Plain and simple!…read more If you were to look back at my few-dozen Yelp reviews of businesses over the past five or six years, you wouldn't often read a review, even a five star review, that didn't have at least one very small drawback. This review is not one of those. This one is FIVE STARS, capital letters, no concessions. Dr. Wooddy, his staff, and their dental business is one of the sure things in my life! I've been going there twice a year (in a good year...more if my teeth aren't acting right!), for 14 years, and haven't once ever had anything less than an outstanding, pain-free, friendly, stellar experience! Dr. Wooddy is, without a doubt, one of the three nicest people I've met in my entire life. My teeth have been worked on by five or six hygienists over the years, and all of them have been extremely kind, gentle on the teeth and gums, and fun to chat with (to the extent one can with a mouth full of hands and tools). They always call to remind me of upcoming appointments, work with me on payment terms and insurance, and make sure I'm equipped with all the latest information on modern dental hygiene. When folks tell me they're new to town, there are literally only two people I recommend - a realtor I trust with my life, and Dr. Wooddy/Corinth Dentistry!
