This man is a total rip off.I went to buy a car from him the car looked nice and ran decent I gave…read morehim 2500 of the 3500 and was to pay the rest in two payments so I specifically ask him on more than one occasion if he was sure the motor and transmission where good to which he replied that the car would take me wherever I wanted it to I also told him that I'm a single mom and in dire need of a car and could not afford to loose this money to which he replied he's a parent as well and would never do anyone wrong like that my brother ask him as well was the car in good shape.so I get the car drive it about 25 miles home the next morning I drove it maybe 15 miles and a couple hours later another 15 miles the car broke down having transmission trouble so I texted him to let him know and see how we gonna resolve this I have had the car all of maybe 12 hours and have not even been 60 miles in it and it's broke down so the first text he said he was still working he would call when he got off this was 930 at night he never called I told him that this is really a bad way to do business but that he could keep the 500 for his time when really it only my time wasted and return the 2000 I took the car to auto parts store to see if they could diagnose it they said it had no codes but with the symptoms of the car now and the fact that it's a 2015 car and has no saved codes only points to one thing that someone erased them so I will be tKing the car to Ford today to find out all the codes that have been erased and at what milage I sent him a text last night explaining that if I didn't hear from him by 9 am today we would be going to court he finally texted back said that he was not returning my money and still expects the payments.i have had 2 other mechanics tell me that there was no way he didn't know the transmission was bad and he choose to erase the codes and sell me a car he knew was bad and he's a mechanic are you for real any ways just wanted to let everyone know he's a fraud he's a rip off and he has no morels I hope he has the day and life he deserves and we will be going to court

Kevin shared that he was at risk of losing his job and was a lead tech, although listed as the owner. 'Management' also contacted and asked that I take the review down and offered to refund the labor. At this point (2 days later) I had already taken the vehicle to the Toyota dealer, as his 'management' advised the vehicle was complex and initially declined looking at the vehicle without another charge. Toyota Diagnosis: improper fitting and installed spark plugs. Cost: 98$ inspection- which was deducted from repair cost. Repair cost total, including one day vehicle rental, 468.79$. I reached back out to Kevin and 'Management', via text and email, three consecutive days- excluding Sunday, explaining the outcome and requesting a partial refund (spark plugs, diagnosis, and labor). I have not received a response and am now seeking civil action. Receipts attached. Again, the purpose of this review is to bring awareness.

My car is getting older and as it's aged, these guys are doing a fantastic job of keeping it in excellent shape. The Palmers are honest and professional and are bonafide experts when it comes to VWs and Audis. It's really a shame they don't specialize in other makes. Mikel does most of the work these days and I feel very fortunate and proud to have him as my mechanic. He's helped me do everything from simple oil changes and preventative maintenance to replacing worn out parts such as brakes, a thermostat, sensors (O2, MAF), and CV boots. At $65 per hour, their labor rates are the best. For comparison purposes, years ago, I had a local dealership replace a CV boot for almost $300. Mikel replaced one for me for less than $130. Not only are the rates great, but the quality of work is excellent as well. I can attest to this after almost 10 visits. I plan to have Mikel do my timing belt and water pump when that's due. It's great to be able to talk to the person working on your car instead of being assigned a new "service advisor" each time. Sometimes, I ask Mikel to show me parts he's replaced on my car because I'm curious to look at them. He's always more than happy to. This place is centrally located close to downtown Rockmart. The owner and employees are all friendly and competent and the prices are extremely realistic. Since they did my tire balance on my big truck tires so well I decided to go back for some other work on my other cars, and they've been great. I will come back to these guys for any work I feel like getting done, when I don't feel like doing it myself. They have a complete service department for just about all your needs. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, they will not gouge you.

I hit a deer and decided to have my car repaired at Candy Apple in Rockmart. I selected this place…read morebecause I had a red Chevy that was hit in the rear and the Candy Apple I took that car to in Powder springs did a great job matching my paint. If you know red, it's one of the hardest colors to match. The previous manager, at the Rockmart location, was hard to deal with. Seemed to me there was no QC or customer care at all. I had trash in my paint, the hood was not lined up correctly, the old headlight did not get buffed even though she said she would let the tech know. She never contacted me to let me know they were putting a new headlight on and the old one would not match. I know it wouldn't have been covered by insurance, but a good customer service skill would have been to give the patron a call to at least give the option of purchasing and installing a new headlight, while the car is torn down. Instead, she quoted me $2,400, because they had to tear the car down, purchase the light and install it. She later came back with a quote of approximately $1,100. At that point I decided I was not going to spend money there. She had next to know customer service skills. Now the new manger is in, he was easy to deal with, fixed the quality issues and had it done in less than a day. It looks like they buffed the whole car, including the old headlight, it was clean and polished when I picked it up. I do still have blemishes in the paint, but not like it was before. The paint is a slight bit different shade than the rest of the car, but I'll deal with it. I would recommend this place, since there is a new manager that cares.
