Even though they didn't have my specific tire size in stock, they immediately ordered it and managed to get it to their shop in less than 12 hours! Being stuck in a small town unexpectedly is never fun, but they were so understanding of my situation. They truly made me a priority to ensure I could get back on the road as quickly as possible. To make a stressful situation so much better, they gave me excellent local recommendations for places to stay, eat, and keep entertained while I waited. On top of that, because the blowout had shaken me up, I thought I was hearing a new noise from the car. When I mentioned it to them, they didn't hesitate to do a thorough look-over of the vehicle just to give me peace of mind and ensure I was completely safe to continue my travels. From start to finish, they were professional, compassionate, and honestly some of the kindest humans I've met on the road. AAA and other towing services were excuse after excuse, delay after delay. The State Highway Patrol and Local Police would not even help us. When it got dark, and out of pure desperation, I called a local hotel looking for help getting us off the side of the road. They immediately got in touch with Mike and he reached us in less than 30 minutes! He went above and beyond to help us knowing our predicament, 8 hours from home and no transportation. We called our insurance & were sitting in a hot car with our 3yr old for about an hour & our insurance still hadn't found anyone to tow us. So I called Route 66 & they were there within 30mins thanks to where we were on the highway. Jason was so nice & amazing ! We had our U-Haul with us & our truck loaded up bc of our military move. No issue at all for Jason ! He quickly got us up & loaded & offered to take our U-Haul & loaded truck to their shop to fix it as well as watch over our stuff! Now we are on the road again heading to Texas & I just gotta say for the tow & to fix our truck & watch over our stuff what we paid was no where near what I thought it was going to be. Unfortunately, someone had dumped a few railroad ties on the road, and I was unable to avoid them. My left front tire was shredded and the rim badly bent, but I was able to get the truck off the side of the road on the shoulder. A minute later, a NM state trooper showed up, got the junk off the road, and came up. He had responded to a report of road debris, but obviously, too late to help me. I called the U-Haul emergency line (excellent job by them as well), and they dispatched Tow Broz. Being in New Mexico, there are long distances to cover, but Dominic Trujillo showed up at the ETA he'd given and went right to work. In less than an hour, he had removed and replaced the damaged tire and rim, and being extra careful, retorqued all the wheels. He clearly knew what he was doing, was professional, courteous, and competent. Put simply, he did an outstanding job, and I give him my unqualified, 5 star recommendation.
