I asked him to take his shoes off before he came into my home, and he was surprisingly compliant. He went to work and oiled my 25 year old grandfather clock. "Mr. Bob" adjusted the pendulum and was done within 30 minutes. I got a bill for $220 (cash payment). He traveled 30 minutes from Shermans Dale, PA from Harrisburg, PA. Most surgeons don't charge $220 per 30 minutes. Who makes $7.33 per minute? I was pissed, because 1) he didn't guarantee his work for at least 7 days and 2) his agrrogance.
