I can't overstate how happy I was with my experience with Johnson's Towing. When I called to schedule the tow, the dispatcher (Hazel) was kind, courteous, and empathetic to my situation. I truly felt valued as a customer. When the gentlemen arrived to tow my car they were friendly, proficient, and FAST at their work. They called to let me know when the car was dropped off of the dealership I requested. He was not only very helpful but also very kind to me and my dad. such wonderful service and he was very careful getting my car on the truck! I don't know about a previous review, but I thought Ken was a very nice man. My car wouldn't start this morning and we couldn't get the battery to jump. After an exhausting several attempts and talking with several other companies, I was either told that they couldn't send someone ( so much for 24 hour towing) or that they only took cash. Ken showed up very quickly, called me on his way, and was adamant that he was going to help me! He was organized and professional and knew what he was doing. After we got the car running he even stayed to make sure it would work out fine for me. He ran my credit card right there with a machine, printed me a receipt, and was extra detailed on the paperwork. When he left he said, hopefully you won't need roadside assistance again, but if you do, here is my card. After my car accident on Thursday he was a massive help and incredibly nice. He made sure we got the best out of everything and made sure I was okay. I would most definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you are living on a budget. Not to mention they were very rude and unprofessional when I called for a tow. On top of that they tried to charge me an arm and a leg for just a simple tow. I could only imagine what a more difficult tow would cost. I suggest you contact Reliable Towing and Services. They were kind and courteous and were much more reasonable on their price. I heard Alpha Dog towing was a good company to contact also. I strongly advise anyone not to bother with this company. These people at Mahrs Towing are completely incompetent, I was told that these people tried to hook up to my mother's vehicle at CarMax without checking for pedestrians inside and low and behold guess what, my son was in the back seat along with my mother when they try to hook up this car in my opinion this is a direct and salt to a child this is a child endangerment issue these people hold no regard for safety or protocol as per protocol most competent towing companies are supposed to inspect the vehicle for pedestrians or any hazardous materials that might damage their truck this is very disappointing what they did without doing a complete safety check of the vehicle first is against the wall and again this is child endangerment an innocent child endangerment I will be watching with great interest of what happens from this incident especially through the court of law. read more

I had never heard of this company until they showed up after an accident in Westerville. The response was fast, service was excellent. He was so polite and patient considering every phone call I got was bad. His biggest concern was for the person involved in the accident and if she was ok, the car was second. Any business willing to care more about people is worth a try. read more

I had an accident on Friday night 09/19/2014. Ken came over to tow my car promptly. He was very friendly and professional. He updated me when the claim adjuster came to estimate the damages on my. Ken gave me a good recommendation to a collision shop which was also recommended by Enterprise and Allstate even though it was not one of their preferred shops. He kept my car there until I released my car to be towed away to the collision shop. He looked out for my best interest. I could have not asked for a better service from a towing company.
