Thomas did an amazing repair on my A/C and gave me a better quote than any other mechanic I asked…read more One mechanic wanted to charge me $1300 for the repair and Thomas explained how much the parts cost (which was less than 1/3 of the quote the other shops gave me) . He was quick with it and honest about it. He even said I could use his quote to get a better deal elsewhere if I didn't want to drive it to him. He got my business right away instead of the other shops. He will forever be the mechanic I go to.

The manager of the oil change place claimed that my car was old and that it wasn't their fault. I initially took my car to a different shop for a diagnostic, and that shop claimed the oil cooler was broken, and quoted me $3700 to fix it. I was floored by this, because the online quote from the same shop was $500-650. After they refused to budge, I found Ernie's who gave me a far more reasonable quote for the same repair. I had my car towed there, and got a call from Ernie's almost immediately. Imagine my surprise when Ernie's said that whoever had changed my oil had left the o ring off, and that's why it was leaking oil. The first shop had missed this obvious issue, and proceeded to quote me an exorbitant amount for a repair my car didn't need. Ernie's fixed it and I picked my car up the same day. I have had no other problems. Total repair was $16. Unfortunately for Ernie's they now have a customer for life. :) Save your time and come here first.
