I called them two hours later but it was not ready. They had my phone number to call me when it was finished but several hours later I still got no call. So I called them again and the car was still not ready. I called them again around 4 PM and was informed that the car needed a ball joint and they were installing it WITHOUT calling me and getting my approval WHICH IS ILLEGAL. They 'hoped' they could get it done by closing time. It took them ALL DAY for a simple job and the bill was more than twice what I was quoted. They had no reason not to call me and let me know what was going on. Needless to say I was furious. Buyer beware at this garage!

Had my 2013 Jetta (111k miles) towed to Rishes and advised I would hear from them after diagnosis…read more I never heard from them, so called two days later and Jadie said it would be a quick fix with a sensor. Fast forward 5 days and I receive an email (I was out of the country) that it was more than the sensor and was going to cost $500 to determine what the actual problem was. Having no other option I decided to move forward. After not hearing for another 2 days, I called back and was told that 20 hours of labor needed to be done for the cam phaser to be changed that would cost me $3500 and I should just take me car to the dump, or they would offer me $300 for the parts. Oh and if I did want to pay for it to be fixed it would take 2 months. So after 3 weeks of back and forth with them I had it towed to R&R auto in Potsdam (RON IS AMAZING!) and within a week it was diagnosed as a sensor problem and saved $2500 to fix it. Now running normally! In addition to my horrible experience here I have a friend that took her SUV here and has been back multiple times because lights keep coming back on in her car. Advice: Don't go there.

Which is wild because the dude he set it up with wrote everything down and asked a lot of questions so it looked legitimate. We really needed our brakes done because we had to go out of town to see a sick relative with little time left. We had to go to a walk in shop and pay out the nose for a rush job. It was very frustrating on top of our worries about the relative. I guess on top of overcharging people they don't know how to keep or schedule appointments. I have to say it was very frustrating and disappointing and if I had known it was knew owners we never would have gone there to begin with. Best to stick with Trapps or one of the other companies. This one is not it. They are too shady to trust with even an oil change. Buyer be warned.
