I live 2.5 away so I didn't really know where to go. I left my Jeep in their lot and dropped my key in the Dropbox. I called them in the AM to explain. They call me back after looking at it. I purchased a used 2020 Jeep Wrangler from Pohanka Jeep in Salisbury, Sept 2024. The car has given me good service and I received a text from Pohanka about an interest in purchasing my Jeep. I called two times before Il could speak to a sales manager. The offer was definitely unacceptable for a pristine Jeep with under 22,000 miles. The sales manager lives close to my home and I even ask if he could stop by and take a look at my Jeep to reconsider a better offer. Its showroom ready..Never driven off road garage kept perfect condition...Couldn't accomodate me. So second question... I asked him if I could get a second key since it did not come with one and all the online platforms ask about the number of keys and the price is reduced because of only one key. The sales manager said my purchase would have reflected that. I was never told this when I purchased the Jeep. I hung up feeling very disheartened. Goodwill to a customer is what you won't receice anymore...Ive purchased from Pohanka Mercedes several times and its a totally different experience. Pohanka has lost me as a customer over a key and a text to solicit me to purchase my Jeep. An offer almost $3,000 less than Carvana. Educate yourself before you walk into this dealership. Ill never purchase another vechicle from Pohanka again.

I drove down from NJ to he dealer in a rental car and the General manager HIMSELF, Jay picked us up from the rental car return which was about an hour away. At the dealership, all the paperwork and other things were handled extremely professionally and efficiently by Jay and his office manager, Heather. There was no additional fees thrown on us (like many dealers try to slip past you), and we were in and out of the dealership in an hour with our temporary tag and off to return home. Had the story ended there, this would have been enough of a reason to leave a 5 star review. Unfortunately, the car developed an engine issue and needed a costly repair. I reached out to Jay and even though the car was purchased AS IS, he said he will speak to his boss an see what he can do. In the end he sent us a check for a significant portion of the repair and reminded myself and my family that there are still dignified and upstanding individuals in this world. He could have easily said you bough the car for a great deal and it was As IS, tough luck, but he demonstrated that he is willing to go above and beyond for his customers. I don't even know if this will go through or not. Okay, so moving forward, this place is AMAZING! My partner and I have been looking for a school bus to convert to our home and found their listing. I shot them a message on Facebook and got all of the information I needed, and then some! When we pulled onto the lot, we were greeted by friendly staff. (Dylan rules!) Jay is especially knowledgeable about everything auto related, as well as being extremely charismatic. We weren't given the usual bs most auto places throw at you, just shown the parts we care about and even let us start up the vehicle. The entire team went above and beyond to get us a temp tag as well as help us move our school bus off of the lot. During the pandemic, it even meant more to see them always keep their masks on despite how hot it was outside. They took extra measures to elbow bump and hand sanitize everything. They care a lot and they will treat you right. I love them!!!

First, he proceeded to tell me that I had not gotten the seat belt recall done which I did and they even put me in a loaner. Kept saying it was Hyundai mistake and not service. Then I ask him how long it would take for the 2 open recalls on my car and for them to check my cabin filters and he said 3 hours. I am not sitting in a lobby for 3 hours and I ask him if he had a loaner and he was very rude in telling me loaners were first come first service and that he had a list of people waiting for a loaner and that he could not bump anyone, and I said I didn't ask you to bump anyone I was just inquiring about one. Then he said we have a shuttle that you can use. His tone and words were certainly out of line, and I called Preston Hyundai and got the most wonderful lady, and I have scheduled an appointment.
