Well, they continue to go downhill with ridiculous prices going uphill. I won't be having any…read morerepairs done there any more. At first I didn't question the high prices much but that's cause everything is going up, but now I wish I had, it seems they are taking advantage of people and overpricing whatever they can. Someone there said "we can sometimes price match", which makes me ask "well if you can do it for less why are you charging so much until someone complains"? I noticed they haven't been very busy the last few times I went there and suspect if they continue these prices people will eventually go somewhere else. Here are a couple examples: Got a quote on recharging the A/C in a Nissan Sentra $286 Meineke did it for $177 and another shop (later) quoted $122 They charge me around $100 for synthetic oil change on a Sentra, another local shop charges about $70. I also had a brake job done there and the price seemed high at the time but I trusted them after dealing with them for maybe 15 years. I'm sure I could have saved a couple hundred on that. No longer recommended.

My wife works at home and rarely drives. A few months later she got another flat and Mr Tire said they all needed to be replaced for balance so she bought 4 new tires. A few months later she drove to Florida and got another flat while there. She went to Costco to get a new tire and Costco told her the tires Mr Tire sold her were all the wrong size.

I brought my truck to Dad's Garage in Owings for three relatively straightforward items:…read more * TPMS sensor programming * Tire balancing * Diagnosing an emergency brake-related clunking noise under load I had an 8:00 AM appointment scheduled well in advance, yet after TWO full days, the truck sat untouched until around 2:00 PM on the second day. This was a job that realistically should have taken a couple of hours. The TPMS issue was never resolved. Initially, I was told the sensors had been programmed correctly and that the warning lights were caused by incorrect tire pressure -- one of the most ignorant explanations I've ever heard from a mechanic. The reality was simple: the inner rear TPMS sensors were never programmed at all, which was the entire reason the truck was brought in. They eventually admitted that after the fact. Next was the wheel balancing. My truck has custom powder-coated wheels. Instead of using stick-on weights like the factory setup already had, they installed hammer-on steel weights on the OUTER edge of the rims, damaging the powder coating in the process. Any competent shop should have immediately recognized the proper balancing method after removing the existing stick-on weights. As for the emergency brake concern, they never properly diagnosed it. I specifically brought the truck in for a loud noise under load -- not the normal sound of the electronic parking brake actuator engaging. They dismissed the issue without ever meaningfully reproducing or testing the concern. To top it all off, they broke a wheel stud using an impact gun on the lug nuts rather than properly torquing them as a qualified mechanic should. Because of the excessive use of the impact gun, I now have concerns about stretching or cracking of the remaining wheel studs and will likely be replacing all of them as a precautionary safety measure. Between the damaged powder coating on the wheels and the wheel stud issue, I am now facing well over $1,000 in damages to either have the wheels professionally re-powder coated or replaced, along with replacing the studs they improperly handled. What made the experience even worse was my conversation with Mike, the owner. From the beginning of the call, he was defensive and adamant that everything had been performed correctly -- until several of those claims were proven untrue. Once confronted with the facts, the conversation quickly became unprofessional, including yelling on the phone rather than attempting to resolve the situation appropriately. Two days wasted, damage to my wheels, unresolved issues, poor communication, and additional damage caused while the vehicle was in their possession. This experience was frustrating from start to finish. Steer clear of Dad's Garage unless you want your vehicle returned with more issues than it had when you dropped it off.

DO NOT GET ANY SERVICES DONE AT JEFF AUTO REPAIR IN FRUITLAND…read more They are scammers, and I'm saying that from real experience. My sister took her car there, and instead of fixing the problem, they made it worse. He messed up her timing chain, gave her an old starter, and still charged her $1600. The timing chain kit came with two chains, and he only put one on -- and the one he used was missing a tooth. When we called back asking for a refund, he said he wasn't giving anything back, even though the issue he claimed he "fixed" was never fixed at all. Then he kept asking for more and more money like the job wasn't already overpriced. We took the car to a different mechanic, and they confirmed that nothing he claimed to fix was actually fixed. Everything he charged for was basically untouched. I do not recommend this shop to anyone. They are money‑hungry, dishonest, and will leave your car in worse condition than before. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.

I took my infinti g37 to get the timing chain fixed and brought the whole timing kit they claim to have put it on correctly but my car ended up jerking and some more stuff. They charged me $920 for that and I brought the kit . The new shop I go to said that they should have never charged me that much if I brought the timing chain kit and water pump. The new shop said that the timing chain is one tooth off and that they only put one chain on the car so I called and they refer to give me any money back for it. His exact words is that "well I'm not giving you nothing back for it, have a good day." It's crazy how shops will get over on you cause your a female and create more problems on a car. They messed with my starter and all.
