She treated my painful heel via conservative measures, and in less than a week, my pain is almost gone. She answered all my lame (get it?) questions, and she is really nice, as is the check-in lady. Had surgery for hammer toe was sent home with blood soaked gauze was told swelling would take about…read moresix months to go away. Six months latter still had swelling. Told me to come back in two weeks to see if the swelling goes down two weeks latter and no change. Dr Trout said that he had no idea why my feet would still be swollen and left it at that. For someone that specializes in feet I wasn't impressed he never offered to look in to or consult with other doctors on why my feet would still be swollen. Had to have screws removed 2 years after surgery do to one screw that had backed out and poked through the skin and another screw that was sticking through the bone causing the bone to grow over the screw causing a rubbing spot on my toe. It's been 5 years and my feet are still swollen. Dr Trout's a nice guy but a so so Doctor. Double thumbs down.
