The company acknowledged that they were at fault for the damage, but now that it comes time to actually compensate us for what was lost, they are avoiding responsibility. They are focusing on whether we are able to obtain replacement medication rather than acknowledging that the medication we already paid for was damaged and is now unusable. Whether we can replace it or not does not change the fact that we already lost the money we paid for the original product. We are now being told that they will only consider reimbursement if we are able to purchase another replacement and provide a paid receipt. That puts the financial burden back on us for something that was damaged through no fault of our own. When a company accepts responsibility for damaging a customer's property, I would expect them to make the customer whole for the actual loss--not create additional hurdles and require the customer to spend more money before they will even consider reimbursement. Very frustrating experience, especially given how expensive the medication was. We are now having to spend our time working with the pharmacy, insurance company, and doctors to document that the medication is unusable, all while trying to get the company to take responsibility for the financial loss they already acknowledged.

Why not give them a shot? I saw one I liked online and went over to the warehouse to check it out. The place is huge and hot. Up the ramp and immediately to the right is the clearance area so I strolled in to see what they had. Most of it were damaged furniture marked down but still good enough to use. Unfortunately they didn't have anything I wanted. So I made a beeline to the dining room furniture and saw the set I wanted. A friendly salesman came by and asked if I've been helped. I told him no but I knew exactly what I wanted. I showed him the table and we went to the front to checkout. Him stated that the floor model was the last one they had and would I have a problem with that. No assembly? Shoot, easy for me. He told me the guys would disassemble it if they need to get it inside. Cool beans. He told me it would be a few hours before they could deliver it, so go run my errands (I guess I looked like I had stuff to do?) and they would call me. I thanked them and I did run my errands. A few hours later the delivery guys did call me and told me they were on their way. They arrived when they said they would, carried my dining room set up the stairs and in my apartment. If you're in a pinch for furniture, you should definitely check these guys out.
