I have heard it said that there is no such thing as justice in Family Law. While that is true, Kara has helped me get as close to that as you can find in this area of Law. If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate situation of dealing with Family Law issues, I would recommend at least getting a consultation from Kara if she is available at the time and strongly considering hiring her. On another note, she is a one-woman shop. While this may seem like a bad thing, it is not. I have been represented in the past by a full-service firm. While it was great at first, as it neared the end, my case was just another case to clear off my attorney at the time's desk. As much as I liked him, I just couldn't go back for later issues because of that as it ended up working against me. I had to keep pushing to get the matter resolved. I have never had that experience with Kara. She is an excellent advocate to have on your behalf in the courtroom!

This of course makes you look bad to the judge, and she will save her own skin before defending you. Never shown up in a zoom hearing ( he only calls in on his telephone), 2. Hasn't prepared any defense for me at a hearing and lets the other party walk all over me without saying anything in my defense. 3. Tries to charge me 2.10 hours ($75/hr) for writing an email to somebody. Mr. Cabrera is unfortunately continuing on the famous parable that we all know about lawyers, which is that they are in it for the money. Don't let him tell you this is a fake person. My case is 20FLP-0102 and I have had to spend over $15,000 in attorney fees before for other lawyers regarding false allegations and restraining order attempts. Lawyers may act like they care about your personal problems, but Mr. Cabrera has made it clear that this is not the case. I'm sure he'll threaten to get off my case when he sees this review but I don't care. I want him and the entire judicial system being put on blast for how long I have to deal with false allegations made against me. My ex-girlfriend is trying to accuse me of molesting my own daughter without any evidence and it has been 2 months since she has been home. Seems Handicapped are not protected with injury requiring 1-3 months and follow ups, like an auto or motorcycle or bigger case.
