The gentleman that did my pedicure did as minimal as possible and when I politely asked if he could clean the cuticles where white was showing next to the polish he was clearly annoyed and complaining out loud enough for me to hear and then also to his coworkers. He never made any effort to correct but just put more polish on to the point of clumps on my nails. Dont waste your money or time going there. read more

I have not been to this salon for a long time, and I decided to try it again today. The guy who answered the phone is supper friendly and polite. He scheduled me with Ken, and he is amazing, he focused on taking care of me and wanted to make sure that I was content the entire time. He did good on my pedicure and my fill. I have visited this salon a 1/2 dozen times after I started to receive unsatisfactory service from the salon across the street. I have been happy for the most part. The staff is very friendly. The manicure I had today was not as good as I'd hoped. While the nails were cleaned and shaped very well, the polish job was rushed. It's a bit sloppy and I can do better myself. It appears that they use gel polish even if you want a regular manicure. I just don't think the quality of the polish is the same without curing. It certainly looks "weak". I had a pedicure there a few months ago that looked similar and didn't last very long. I am up to 2 strikes in less than a year. One more and I'll go elsewhere. There are too many salons to chose from to get sub par results. read more

Went today for the first time at this location for a regular pedicure. I called ahead to make an appointment and showed up early, expecting to wait because it was a Saturday afternoon. They took me right away, which was awesome. Was treated very kindly. However, I was out of there within a half an hour, including drying. I didn't see any sterilizing machines, however, there is a back room. The pumice stone and utensils all went back into their bins they got them from after use. (Gross and scary if they don't sterilize after each use). The technician did not take her time or even make any corrections to the paint and only put on one coat of polish. From far away it looked fine, so, I let it go. However, for the price I was very displeased sitting at the drying station (this is Loudoun County though). Once I got home, upon further inspection, it honestly looks like I did my nails myself (and I'm terrible at it, which is why I go somewhere to have them done). There are see through spots and missed edges along my nails and paint along the cuticles. It just looks terrible. I gave 2 stars bc they were friendly and timely. Went for the first time today and had an appt at Noon for a gel manicure. Waited 25 mins (after the appt time) for a technician. It was a simple natural nails gel manicure and took about an hour to complete ...except at the very end, the nail polish started peeling off completely from all the nails! The nail technician caught it before I left and removed the gel color. She offered to redo with a diff polish, but I had already spent over an hour and had to get home. I decided to revisit couple hours later. She mentioned she will give a good discount or do for free. When I revisited, she gave me an OPI color (previously was a diff brand that peeled) and spent 40 mins on my manicure. When it was time to pay, I was surprised the "discount" she was talking about was only $5 off! For over 2 hours of my time and a bad polish, the best she gave was $5 off. I mentioned to her I thought you said free or bigger discountand she just smiled and said no. I did not want to argue so I paid the total (minus $5). I would not revisit or recommend due to the poor customer service and not delivering on quality. read more

I am 52 years old, I have been getting manicure and pedicure regularly entire of my life in different part of world and country. I just moved to this area and I tried this salon. This is the worst manicure I had ever have. The nail technician's name was Lisa and she had an attitude that she was not taking her job seriously. The cuticles were not cleaned up but pushed back which made my nails looked awful. It was almost like shoveling all your laundry under the bed instead of folding. A gel nail polish I got peeled off in a week which I never experienced before, generally it last for 2-3 weeks. All their work is meticulous, (although I don't get anything more complicated than a French manicure and pedicure). I've never felt pressured by an upsell, and the atmosphere is professional. Located in the strip next to the Walmart. I initially came for a pedi, then decided to also get a manicure and eyebrow wax. They accomodated me right away. The pedicure was good, the lady took her time and massaged my feet too. There's nothing like a good soak! I liked my usual pearl toe polish. Fresh and clean. The $20 manicure I probably could have done without. It had tiny bubbles in the polish after the dryer. I'm picky, so I'd rather do my own manicure next time. I wash my hands alot so manicures aren't worth it to me to spend $20 or more. Good job otherwise. Lastly, the eye brow waxing and tweezing, can't beat it for $10. Just a note if you pay by credit card or debit you can't leave a tip. Not sure why. The woman was nice and said it was okay.."next time" she said. I have been coming to this location for 4 years now. I have a great relationship with all the nail technicians and feel confident going to each of them. I go every two weeks for routine gel nails and pedicure. The gel color options are numerous. You can find just about any color combination possible. I occasionally get an eyebrow wax and my skin never breaks out post wax! They have great add ons to the pedicure and manicures such as hot wax, etc. highly recommend this place and even had two coworkers join me and routinely come as well. I personally have trouble sitting still to get my nails done, so I appreciate the simplicity of their procedure combined with the great quality. I also get my eyebrows waxed here, and they always look great! However, some of the staff can seem distant and sometimes rude, depending on who you are working with. I was greeted and seen immediately upon walking in and the service was great. I returned back the very next day for the pedicure. I had a terrible experience today. I have gone to this place twice so far. The first time I went I the evening and I paid extra to have a special heel treatment. The girl who helped me out was awesome but the chemicals really dried my feet out badly and a month later I came back to get another pedi but without the chemical treatment. This time it was a different girl who refused to do the special treatment without the chemicals. I offered to pay for the whole treatment which was a $7 add on to just spend some extra time on the problem areas... she declined again. When it got down to it she soaked my feet and buffed them once all while talking loudly on the phone about her credit score. I left dissapointed with cracked heels and rough skin all over my feet. I have been coming here every two weeks for a couple of years to have my nails done (gels), and also pedicures. Kim is my favorite manicurist but they are all nice. They were all helpful when she was out on maternity leave. I recommend staying 20 minutes under the dryers, for some reason my nails are more durable then. Also you can buy the polish for touch-ups--it's better than the others. I get a lot of compliments on my pretty nails and they last the full two weeks. Thank you, Kim! read more
