Hate to leave a less than stellar review here because the people are really nice. But on the last visit, the tech significantly damaged my nail beds. See the attached picture--the nail beds are bloody because the tech over-filed the nail / improperly used the bit (look up "ring of fire" nail bed damage). I had also asked for a deep red ombré and provided a picture. The tech was not able accomplish this ombré (he used an airbrush so it ended up pink, not red), so I asked to just abandon the design and paint it a solid deep red. There are chips in a few of my nails already and it's been less than 24 hours. Only thing saving this review is that they clearly have other talented techs there based on other reviews and the salon's gallery of complex nail art. I might be willing to try again, but I've gone through 2 people now and am not super impressed. read more

My husband is spoiling me for Mother's Day week and after searching on google I chose this salon because of all the good reviews! I scheduled with Thanh for 6:30 PM. I did have to wait for about 15-20 minutes past my appointment time but it was worth it because she is talented and did such a great job! The salon is clean, staff was kind and my nail tech did exactly what I asked for. I got a gel x fill and I do have to say this was pricier than I'm used to (I think also because of the flower design) but I really love how they look. I got a fill with gel polish and chose a classic French tip--clean, classy, and simple for my first time there. Thanh's attention to detail is incredible. Thanh usually does my nails. Shes been doing my nails for about 2 years. Shes AMAZING. She is so thorough when she does my nails. She ensures that the shape, size, length all match. She always confirms with me about the shape and length before and after. She is able to do all designs (she really can) and will make sure they look exactly like the picture. If my nail breaks she will always fit me in at anytime to fix it. She's super gentle when doing my nails. I'm allergic to gel and acrylic and she's been able to find something that I can tolerate. So her being gentle is a plus!!! read more

I Took My Mom for a Treat - and Watched Her be Disrespected Watching my mother be humiliated by Haley was one of the most painful experiences I've had at a salon. Like many others, we were drawn in by the hundreds of glowing reviews. I was excited to treat my mom to a relaxing experience. I never imagined we would leave feeling shocked, disrespected, and deeply hurt. From the moment we met Haley for a gel manicure, something felt wrong. She didn't even greet my mom -- not even a hello or a smile. My mom then explained that she also wanted to remove the gel color on her toes. Instead of responding with professionalism or even basic courtesy, Haley challenged her: "Let me see the color. Why do you want to change it? It's fine." -- as if my mom needed to defend a personal choice for a service we were paying for. I watched my mom brush it off, giving Haley the benefit of the doubt. But it didn't end there. Without any explanation, Haley started by aggressively filing my mom's fingernails. Within seconds, I could see the discomfort on my mom's face -- the machine was burning her nail bed and cuticles. My mom winced and politely asked, "Would you mind doing it a little more gently?" -- a completely reasonable request that should be respected, especially when someone is using power tools near delicate skin. Instead of adjusting the machine intensity or showing any empathy, Haley flipped it on my mom, blaming her nails for being "too sensitive," dismissing the very real pain she was causing. I sat there in disbelief -- my mother was in pain and being blamed for it. We have been to many nail salons before, so it was unnatural to experience searing pain like that. It wasn't about nail sensitivity -- this was about Haley's careless, rushed technique. My mom stayed calm, despite everything, and asked for the gel to be removed entirely -- she wanted to give her nails a break, and she could see that Haley was growing increasingly frustrated. And then came the moment that truly showed Haley's character: Without a word, Haley abruptly got up and walked away. She abandoned my mom mid-service -- leaving her sitting there with half-filed, painful nails, exposed and humiliated. No apology. No explanation. Nothing. She just disappeared. The rest of the staff, clearly panicking, rushed to do damage control. They quickly pushed another technician to finish the service -- not because they cared about what had happened, but because they needed to cover up how shockingly rude and unprofessional Haley had been. In other words, it was to patch over the situation without acknowledging the real harm that had been done. And where was Haley? Hiding in the back. She never came back out. She never apologized. She never even looked at my mom again. She knew exactly what she had done -- and she didn't care. I watched my mom, someone who is gracious and kind to everyone, a small business owner herself, sit there holding back tears -- not just from the physical pain, but from humiliation of being treated like her comfort and dignity didn't matter. Despite everything, my mom still thanked and generously tipped the staff who tried to make things right -- because that's who she is. But the damage was already done. A simple, polite request to be more gentle should NEVER have escalated into public humiliation and abandonment. Haley's behavior wasn't just unprofessional -- it was cruel, immature, and completely unacceptable. No matter how many five-star reviews you see -- remember this: professionalism isn't measured by how you treat customers when things go smoothly. It's measured by how you treat people when they simply ask for basic kindness and understanding. I will never forget how my mom was treated that day. I hope others think twice before trusting someone who shows so little respect for the customers they are supposed to service. read more
