Love their Chicken Joy, and the long wait to get freshly cooked chicken, spicy-style...worth it! Was very disappointed in getting Korean food nearby in downtown Vancouver, so decided to stop into Jollibee to get some fried chicken, to round out our Sunday dinner. They don't have a self-service kiosk to order, so you have to stand in line. We got our 3 piece Chicken Joy with one side (chose mashed potatoes). It also came with a side of brown gravy. It cost $12.79 USD (after conversion on our credit card. I wanted to try their Spicy version, so was willing to wait the 20 minutes for a new batch to be made. It actually came out a little bit faster than that. The chicken wasn't that spicy, which was fine by us. I like how the chicken is cooked all separately, so each piece looks perfect: no break in skin or batter. It's a light batter, and the meat inside was very juicy and hot. Very good. We could have skipped the mashed potatoes...it tasted like it was reconstituted from flakes. Oh...and the act of dipping fresh fried chicken in a saucer of brown gravy...I am now a convert. It works.

Love the peach mango pies. Only ordered 9. Should've gotten more. Got No.4,5&6 hooked on it too. Fast service and food was good.

I had the aloha burger and it was juicy and delicious . I just find the cost a bit high for a combo at $19. Restaurant seating area was fine

Solid chicken sandwich. It's a bit too crunchy (big difference from crispy) than I like my chicken, and this one was bordering on hurting the roof of my mouth, but the size of the filet made me very happy. The chicken joy is always good, of course -- I think Jollibee makes the best fast-food spicy fried chicken. Haven't had a chance to try all the classic menu items, but the pineapple quencher and the pies were good as well. I don't think it's good enough to merit the price jump from KFC or Church's to be honest, but to each their own!

I might sound biased but I grew up on this. It's just like how remember it from the Philippines. The setting was small. Parking is horrible around the restaurant being downtown. But I was determined since the lines weren't that long anymore. The chicken was crunchy and the burger steak was nostalgic. The service was mediocre but overall the experience was good .

    Spicy Chicken Sandwich! So good!

Really good spicy fried chicken sandwich. Loved the spicy mayo and thin jalapeño slices on it. Similar to Popeyes but better. Spaghetti is interesting. Not amazing, but interesting to have it in a fast food chicken place. It's very Phillipino though. Skinny fries are good. Close to McDonald's fries. The banana pie was so good. Tasted like and apple pie but switched with bananas. I liked it. The pineapple drink was amazing too. Not a fancy place- definitely a fast food chicken place, can't wait till they open in Hillsboro!

The line is for waiting after ordering.

I finally get the chance to try the Jollibee in Vancouver. It has been a long wait, in every way. We waited a couple of years since the first announcement it will be here. Then the line to enter the store when it finally opened. Now the line is not snaking past the door if you get there at the right time but it is still a wait for the food to be ready after ordering. I was lucky that it took about 5 mins for my order to be ready. The buzzer worked. I actually got my food ahead of others who ordered before me, probably because my order was small. I also went before the weekday lunch rush. My coworkers said it could still be at least an half hour wait during lunch. I did not know there was no dine in option. There was a bench by the door where I saw a customer eating his burger. No tables. Utensils have to be requested. So I had my food to go and had to pay for the paper bag ($0.25). I would have brought a bag if I knew. I went for the 2 pc chicken and mashed potato. It was so good, very similar to those I had in Asia. The chicken was juicy and tender and so flavorful. The mashed potato was good too. I also bought the banana langka (jackfruit) pie. The crust reminded me of McDonald's apple pie in the 90s. Crispy outside with hot fruit filling. The filling did not ooze out which made it less messy to eat. It reminded me of the dried banana chips. It had more of a banana taste than the jackfruit. Now that I know how the ordering system works here, I may just order online and pop over to pick up in future. Not sure if it will shorten the wait though. Note: There are 3 lines in front of the counter. The one on the left is for order, middle is for waiting for food after ordering, the line on the right is for online and 3rd party food order.

Jolibee was really hyped up and busy when it first opened, so I waited a while to try it. Once I had it, I understood why it was lined up for months! The classic chicken sandwich was so good! Juicy, crunchy, great seasoning. It's now my go-to spot for a chicken sandwich in downtown! #ContestEntry

Just another Jollibee. I tried the Seattle and Calgary location. Jollibee is known for their fried chicken and the other things are ok. I came here late at night and the line has died down. I got the mango pie and it was ok. I still prefer their fried chicken. I do find the Seattle location to be tastier. The restaurant has no seats. It is super small. After ordering, you are given a buzzer and it will buzz when the food is ready. I prefer to eat the fried chicken at the restaurant and especially when you have to take it to somewhere else or home to consume it, it is no longer fresh and the outer skin is usually no longer crispy. Again, it is good to have a Jollibee in Vancouver. I don't need to travel far if I want Jollibee fried chicken.

Finally had a chance to try this place after hearing about it for years from my American friends. Parking here is basically nonexistent. Best to walk here instead. There is no seating here. Instead, the entire interior is one giant lineup area, much like an amusement park ride. My friends and I snaked our way to the front and placed our orders. I was given a remote buzzer thing to hang onto which was nice, as it meant we could wait outside. As I wasn't sure what to order, I had the chicken sandwich and peach mango pie. Pricing is a bit steeper than the competition. To be honest, I was wondering how the chicken sandwich compared to Popeyes, and how the pie compared to McDonald's. The chicken sandwich was unfortunately quite lacking compared to Popeyes. The meat and bun were smaller, and it simply wasn't as fluffy. The pie is pretty tasty. It's deep fried (similar to McDonald's in Asia), and tastes exactly as it sounds. Decent amount of filling. Personally I'd skip the chicken sandwich but wouldn't mind having the pie again. Guess I'm trying the fried chicken next time.

We waited around 40 minutes in line for Jollibees on Friday. 20 minutes to get to the door. Once your past the door someone will take your order and then you pay up front. The food comes out really fast after this part. We had the 6 piece bucket, fried chicken burger, yumburger set with fries and pineapple quencher and peach mango pie. 6 piece bucket - tip get it with half spicy and half original if you want to try both. The chicken is super crispy and light. Not overly oily and the inside is juicy. Would get again Yumburger - dry, the bread is disappointing - I would avoid this Fries - crunchy and tasted like potatoes but wouldn't get again. Has an oily after taste Pineapple quencher - surprisingly refreshing. Thought it would be overly sweet but it isn't. It helps wash everything down. Very addictive. Would get again Peach mango pie - super crunchy outside. The inside tastes almost like baby food. I like the outside as it wasn't too oily but not a fan of the filling. Wouldn't order again Fried chicken burger - chicken is not the same as the fried chicken. Not as juicy kind of dry. The bun is the same as the yumburger so again very dry. There's a parmesan flavour to the sandwich. Not very crunchy chicken almost chewy exterior. The sauce didn't do anything for it. Wouldn't get again Overall: I would recommend the pineapple quencher and the fried chicken. Go early if you don't want to wait. I would get the fried chicken again Tip: you can get half spicy and half original as long as you let them know when you order. You can also order online

The closest Jollibee to Metro Vancouver has been 3hrs away since like forever, located @ Westfield Southcentre Mall in Seattle ... I kid you not! Someone's got some splainin to do!?! If you've seen my posts over the years you know I've been down south hundreds of times. However, every time I was at the mall, the lineup was waaaayyyyyyy too long to justify lining up for an hour or two! Vancouver finally has a Jollibee so it is time to find out what the hype is all about! The entire Metro Vancouver Filipino community will turn up in full force!!! There has been a flood of chicken joints opening up all over Metro Vancouver from several Popeyes to dozens of Korean spots ie Chicko Chicken, Hot Star Large Fried Chicken & the Frying Pan food truck. Chicken is in hawt demand here all of a sudden. Metro Vancouver has been inundated with chicken joints vying for your cash claiming to offer the best chicken, so choose wisely! It's a wonder how KFC & Church's Chicken have withstood the competition battling on & survived decades later!? Just for the record my ultimate fav chicken is probably still - LA Chicken - in Richmond. See my review! I also do enjoy Juke Fried Chicken (see my review) as well as Downlow Chicken Shack. Now I'm big into legs, thighs & breasteses (oopsie did I watch too much - In Living Colour - in the 90s!?! Yikes!) ... but in regards to the hottest chicken sandwich out there & still is in my view - Popeyes Spicy Chicken Sandwich hands down! Always make sure to ask for extra pickles & sauce = the gold standard of chicken sandwiches!!! Now if any Yelpies can prove me wrong ... please forward my way the name of your best chicken sando & I'll be happy to try it! I'm ecstatic that Jollibee Vancouver is finally here! At the end of the day, it will be 'tasters choice' that rules the day in showing us which chicken spots are the pretenders & which are the real 'Cock-A-Doodle-Doo' deal!

    Audrey T.

Finally! The lines are shorter! Made my way into Jollibee's to check out the hype. There is another maze of a line inside but someone takes your order on an iPad so you can just pay in front and then wait for your meal. Take out only still. The chicken was tasty and juicy. But the highlight for me was the peach mango pie! There's something about that crust and that sweet filling. The yellow drink was just meh, and the burger was definitely a pass for me.

After mixing it was pretty tasty, but a little heavy on the sauce. FYI the "marinated fried tofu" in the veg bowl is inari, not block tofu. I also got a glass of Asahi, which was nice - it's Asahi. Eating in is not an option. Note that I came around 9pm on a Monday so maybe they took all the tables away earlier. Years ago when I visited this location, they had many chairs and tables just outside and inside the restaurant. Due to the awful area, a lot of homeless people were hanging around just sitting. Not necessarily eating. Now with the chairs and tables gone, there are barely any of them hanging around so I guess it's for the better. It didn't eliminate the problem entirely because as soon as I stepped out of the restaurant area I was asked a couple times by several people for a "rolling paper", extra change, or a lighter. Also, I noticed some of the windows of the restaurant were broken and boarded up with plywood. Yikes. It was VERY hot out (30 degrees!) So I decided to visit this McDonalds for a cheap but delicious frozen treat. I wanted to try their new peach smoothie but they ran out of it. I came later at 9pm so it's not surprising but it's still disappointing because I love peach smoothies. I settled for their strawberry banana smoothie. The smoothie I bought was delicious so I think it is very much worth it. It was refreshing and I could actually taste the strawberries and Banana flavors in it. In my opinion, a medium size is just enough to cool you down on an extremely hot day. Overall, their fruit smoothies are good! Good price too as it was "summer drinks day" time so it was only $2 for a medium one ($2.38 after tax and cup fee). Service could be better. There was a group of homeless looking people in front of me counting every dime, nickel and quarter to pay for their food so it took a really long time to wait to get my order in. There were 4 cash registers. Usually, another staff member would jump in and take another order using the other register but none came. Only one register was available and there were no self-serve kiosks. I had to wait 5-6 minutes to wait and get my order in even though there was only one order in front of me. Once I got my order in, it took a little longer than expected to get my smoothie, maybe 3-4 minutes. Usually it would take 1-2 minutes if it was not busy like this visit. I have a feeling that this Mcdonalds is either understaffed or just slow. Overall, I'd avoid this location if possible. Slower than expected service, and the type of people that are walking around in the area are not very, say, totally normal. Also there's nowhere to eat your food at the restaurant or near it. Kinda inconvenient. It's a decent grab and go place for the kind of stuff where you can walk and enjoy your food such as smoothies. Only giving 2 stars for the reasons stated above. I recommend you go to the slightly better Mcdonald's nearby instead. It's by Main Street - Science World skytrain station but only one short subway stop away from the Chinatown - Stadium Skytrain Station by the mall.
