We had Serenity clean every 2 weeks since Thanksgiving. The first time they came was the deep…read moreclean. There were a few things missed and they offered to come back and fix that day. They were minor and I told them they could just do it on their next visit. Lisa (she also did the deep clean) came again the next time and first thing she asked is what did we miss and she took care of it. The week prior to Christmas, only 1 girl showed to clean and was done within an hour. She left without telling me she was finished. This cleaning was horrible, floors not mopped, (she went around with spray bottle, sprayed and then mopped), things not dusted, stairs not dusted or swept and bathroom still dirty. I was ready to cancel my service and decided to try one more time. The next time, it was Lisa again. She apolgized for my experience. Lisa told me the stairs were on my sheet to do so she was not sure why they were missed. Lisa and another girl cleaned that day for a little over 2 hours and did an excellent job. This past week, I had the same girl that I had before Christmas and a new girl. This time was worst than ever. They arrived at 12:10 and at 12:30 told me they were done with everything except the kitchen and floors. I do not have a small home and started to look around. In the bathroom there was still an iron stain in the toilet, scale was not dusted and mirror not wiped off. When I asked about the toilet I was told it was my water and nothing they could do and that was just how it was. I told them it does come off if you use the Works. She told me no it didn't and she tried. I then told her I would just do it myself and grabbed the bottle out of cupboard. She then told me that wasn't what she used so she would go do it. After they left I went back in the bathroom and stain was still there. I opened the shower and there was still dirt on the floor of shower, shampoo bottles not moved and soap scum still on glass door. Earlier I reminded them of the stairs. The one girl told me the stairs were not on my list to do only the main floor. I have an open staircase so not sure why I wouldn't want the stairs dusted and swept. I told her Lisa had told me the previous week it was on my sheet. This girl then told me she was a manger and she knows the stairs is not on my sheet but she can add it if I wanted it done. They were here an hour and 10 minutes. My dresser in the bedroom has nothing but 2 lamps and you can see where they dusted and the area missed. They did not dust lamps, alarm clocks, or anything on tables and just dusted around them. The mirror in the hall bathroom was cleaned only half way up and smeared with dirty rag. Again they did not tell me they were leaving so I was unable to show them all the things they did not do. We called to cancel service and they did offer a free cleaning if we ever decided to come back. There are a lot of issues that need corrected first. They were never on time (always 40-60 minutes later) but they did always text that they were running behind, never the same girls so always having to tell the same thing over, and seemed like the goal was to see how fast they could get it done. I would have preferred to pay by the hour so I could be sure things got done.

My husband and I wanted to visit and to see what plans and designs they had to offer. We met with Brian Nelson at the Cygnet site. He was incredible to work with. His professionalism, pride and attentiveness to what we were looking for was amazing. Just by talking with him initially on the phone and sharing our wants in a new home he presented us with a home plan that was a great template to start with. After our second meeting, he was able to then create a custom home to our very liking. He was never pushy. He always kept our plans in mind. It was an incredible experience. No wonder we decided to go with Schumacher Homes. Update one year later Aug. 2023 Just as Aaron Mahan promised, Schumacher came back out 1 year later to our home and addressed every single area of concern that we had. They repaired nail pops, corner beads, imperfections of any kind. They are top notch. They repainted the repaired areas. And even Culley, our Schumacher Warranty Repair Rep, cleaned my fan blades while he was putting a finishing touch on our wooden beam. (See photo) They brought out the very best 3rd party dry wall/painter.... Mark Lewandowski is awesome. Culley and Mark made this a painless and even great experience. NEVER did they look down on one of our needs. They were like "Give it to us!! If you want to build and you want the care after the build, then Schumacher is the builder with integrity, the professionalism, the skill and the follow through you're looking for. Our Schumacher Contractor during the build was Brian Arbaugh. I cannot begin to thank him enough for pretty much holding our hand through the entire process. His professionalism and integrity went above and beyond. Thank you Aaron Mahan for the incredible patients and follow through since we moved into our home back in August 2022. You have orchestrated so much on our behalf and we are profoundly grateful. Thank you Schumacher Homes for building us our forever home and for ensuring even a year later that it is every bit what we expected it to be and what you ensured it would be.

Had a house built from them 5 years ago from this location and since then have had problems since…read morethe beginning... original sump pump never worked flooded our basement before we even moved in. Leaking faucets.... leaking pipes which caused to drip onto finished ceiling and start growing mold. When it rains hard water comes in back door handle... seals around front door and back door are poor quality already coming off after the first year... on a windy day you can feel and hear the wind come through. And the upstairs is at least 5-10 degrees different then the main level. Very cheap homes and would not recommend to anyone.
