I imagined that being a long-coated homeless man grabbing my arm while shouting the above, but a homeless man couldn't afford a beer--unless he was homeless because he was an alcoholic (he begs for change until he can afford a beer.) But if that happened, would the staff at Lost Worlds kick him out? Tough call. It's a friendly and efficient staff but they would have to choose between friendly to one or comfortable for all. Fortunately, I have yet to experience this dilemma. Not referring to being homeless due to alcoholism (still possible) but coming across a homeless alcoholic in a long coat at Lost Worlds. Every time I have been here, it's laidback. Trying to stay away from beer due to fitness (drinking other things) but they do have some great beers on tap. The best value is Kama. Get that one. They have plenty of beer options that continues to change with the seasons, while keeping fan favs on the board. This visit was to try out their Cabarrus County's March Burger Madness entry that run the entire month of March. But they always have food on sight. You order at the bar and they send a text to your phone to pick up at the food window. Bartenders and staff have always been friendly and helpful. Add them to your social media watch list to keep up to date with what's happening!! They are always planning great events that are family friendly.

We waited a couple of minutes before I asked the guy sweeping up if they were open. He replied "Yeah. She is somewhere. Probably next door". Finally, a woman shows up outside smoking, and the sweeper goes outside and tells her we are in there and I heard her say, "they can wait until I am done with my cigarette". She finally comes in and takes our order with a shitty attitude. No flights so I got 2 beers a Belgian Triple and a Banshee IPA and a Mahala Pizza (Hawaiian with BBQ sauce base). The beers were really good, and the pizza was decent nothing I would get again. Shitty attitudes can really mess up a dining experience. Get better employees and offer flights and the whole experience would have been good. Funny story. Several people came in after we showed up and one guy asked for a Coors Light. She gave him whatever their lightest beer was. He was not a fan, so he asked me what I was drinking and I told him the Banshee IPA. He asked if I liked it and I said yes. So he ordered one. He proceeds to say "F$#% You buddy! That tasted like I licked a pine comb's ass!" So at least I made a friend.

Given that it's fairly new, they don't seem to be open every day quite yet - they're currently open from Wednesday to Saturday, with additional appointments available on Saturday. The Boundary Street Whiskey is bright, fun, and easily better than anything at its price range. The Boundary Street Bourbon is smooth and tasty, to to the point where I enjoy it on its own, even without ice. I was even more impressed by the Boundary Street Maple, which is Warehouse Distillery's whiskey flavored with maple syrup - it's not only is it delicious on its own, but it could easily make some amazing cocktails. If you're in the market for good whiskey or bourbon, you really owe it to yourself to get it from Warehouse Distillery - it's way better than anything you could possibly find elsewhere, in North Carolina or otherwise.
