Service and food were great. We stopped and stayed the night in the parking lot in our RV as part of Harvest Host. We will be back.

This is some of the best pizza I've ever had and then paired with awesome local craft beer from their brewery. I could stay here and hangout all day and stuff my face with carbs. Staff was great and fun to bullshit with. What a great place for after work beers or even watch some sports. Great job guys and gals.

    Wings

Food was great, loved the pizza and the wings. Service was fantastic. Ambiance was nice.

Best pizza in Mooresville! Great food and fast, friendly service. Unique pies with interesting flavors, and we try new ones pretty often. Always something new to enjoy!

    Wildcat Special without peppers. Delish!

Stopped by here within about an hour of closing time and were readily welcomed by the staff. They have a good selection of beer that could pretty much meet any palate's need. I enjoyed a Belgian beer and I was really happy with their pizza. Even more impressive - if you see an ingredient on one of their pizzas that you want to substitute they basically do it at no charge!!! Had the Wildcat Special and when no peppers was requested, they offered to double the mushrooms. Amazing! Crust was fabulous and even though this was ordered close to closing time, it came out meticulously made and perfect. Great spot to grab pizza and a beer. I'll be back

Ordered the Sicilian pizza. It's awful, don't order that. Thick as a brick, burnt on the bottom. Really inedible. Another issue I've been experiencing is that they are super skimpy in toppings. Hardly anything gets in the pizza. They've gone downhill. Avoid.

    Peach please IPA

We ordered the Vida Loca pizza, and it didn't disappoint! The chorizo and jalapeños were fresh, giving it a nice kick. They have a wide variety of pizza options, so there's something for everyone. I also had a couple of drinks--the Knight to Remember stout was okay, but the Peach Please IPA was very fruity and not my favorite.

The burnt bottom and melted plastic ware.

We went there on our date night. My wife had the wings, she liked them Alot. We also order triangle mozzarella, they were also good. We got the wings and triangles within 10 minutes. I also ordered a chicken Parmesan calzone. After waiting 20 minutes after we got the wings and mozzarella triangles,I went to the counter to ask where my calzone was, the girl went to the kitchen to ask where it was, she told me it would be 3 more minutes. Well 10 minutes later they brought it out. The bottom was burnt, and the PLASTIC eating ware melted when I tried to cut it, it would not cut, so I asked for real silver ware, I was told they don't use that. We will not be going back there anymore.

Not Ghost Face Brewing or Beer Lab but actually a whole 'nother different place entirely...

Five o'clock on a Saturday and the people just keep coming in... which is probably a good sign for a new business venture by a familiar spooky face (GF is a local institution). nice wide open space next to the GF's BEER LAB with tables and roll-up doors out front if the weather ever cooperates. lot of tables and a few high tops for dining and conversing without the glaring and blaring of TVs on every vertical surface; perfect spot to enjoy football sundays and every basketball day. the bar is standard horseshoe design with a cashier/service bar at the head while the actual head is off to the left. came in after a mildly productive day looking for a sip and a nibble and am quite pleased with the results: calzone and a cider and wings and a cider. the ordering process is fairly straightforward: walk up to a register under the ORDER HERE sign and place your order, find a table, plant your flag and wait for the magic to happen... sausage and red onion calzone is properly folded and split and chock full of sweet white ricottal goodness and would be better served with a serrated metal knife but when that's my biggest hurdle today I can find a way to succeed. wings are meaty and big enough with realistic scoring on the heat: 5 is advertised as a bit past Buffalo style buffalo with the option of going one step further if necessary. --- PRO TIP: it's NEVER necessary!! --- oh, the blueberry crumble cider is actually red with hints of clove and cinnamon and is consistent from cup to cup. yea!!

We even bought a cool tin rack.

As someone from Chicago, I take pizza seriously. I grew up on true Chicago thin crust, tavern-cut…read moresquares... the way I was meant to eat pizza. It makes my heart happy. You won't find that anywhere in North Carolina, and Davino's isn't trying to be that. What it is? The best pizza in the Lake Norman area. This perfect little hole-in-the-wall has great specials and consistently solid pizza. The crust hits that ideal balance of crisp and chew, the toppings are generous, and the flavor never disappoints. I can (unfortch) house half an 18-inch pizza myself. But what truly sets Davino's apart is their generosity and community spirit. Right at the front counter, they post a simple message: if you're hungry and don't have money, a meal has already been paid for you. Prepaid tickets hang there - some for two slices and a soda, others even for a full build-your-own 18" pizza. It's a beautiful, tangible act of kindness that can make a real difference for families in need. Makes my heart happy. Great pizza. Great people. A place that genuinely cares about its community. Wouldn't mind if they upgraded their fries to the crinkle cut kind they show on their website and not the long John silver kind, but I'll make do with the 'za. I'm proud to keep supporting Davino's.

Their grilled Caesar salad is large enough to share, with deliciously charred romaine and homemade dressing. We also love sharing the arancini when we are not in the mood for a salad. For entrees, you can't go wrong with their pizza. It's one of our top favorites in the CLT area, as it's cooked in a wood-fired oven, and is both crispy and full of toppings. My husband particularly enjoys the Capricciosa, with artichokes, ham, mushroom, basil, and fresh mozzarella. Their calzones are really good, too. I usually get their lasagna, which is served in a bowl and is made to order. Their bolognese has a complex flavor, and the sauce-to-cheese quotient is just perfect. I always have some leftover to take home. If you have room for dessert, I highly recommend the deconstructed cannoli. It's homemade, and divine. Their gelato is well thought-out, served with a side of espresso to soften the ice cream and add a unique flavor. Presentation is carefully and well-thought out. Service is always good as well, no matter what time of day you visit (we prefer early dinners). We love this place, and will keep it on our "short list" for nearby dining!

The…read moreshopping center offers free parking, but I walked over there from the hotel where I was staying. I was warmly greeted when I entered the restaurant. I was seated facing the kitchen in a booth. I just loved the decor with the bricks, open kitchen, and warehouse ceiling. The wood, beams and bricks were reclaimed materials from Manhattan, adds old world charm. The Easter decorations were a nice touch. My amazing waitress created me a mocktail with ginger beer and cranberry. It was colorful and wonderful. It had some tang to it. The Italian restaurant has Neopolitan pizzas and Italian dishes. It was so hard deciding what to select from the menu. If I hadn't just had shrimp, the shrimp scampi would have been what I ordered. Then there was a lasagna with a bechamel sauce I really wanted. But the pizza won out. My waitress talked me into the salad I was debating, too. The salad was Dolce Crostata. It has mixed lettuce, goat cheese, pancetta, candied pecans and golden raisins. I like the salads with fruit, and this one was wonderful. Novanta means 90 in Italian, which is the 90 seconds it takes to cook the pizza. It goes into the 900-degree Italian wood-fired oven. The pizza was a true Neapolitan with the soft, airy crust and a little bit of char on it. It tasted as good as it looked. I wanted a second pizza after my first slice, but I had trouble finishing the first and had to take half of the salad to go. I did love every bite of the margherita pizza and salad. If I lived closer, I'd eat here weekly as the food is that good. This is a hidden gem.
