Came here around 4 on Saturday, just visiting the area. Pretty chill. Love all the different art on the tables. The bar tender was nice. There is outdoor seating at the front and extra space in the back they call a "garden" but it's an indoor space with lots of plants. They had a super Nintendo back there but it was off. Highly recommend.

Hrmm... actually is way better when I'm not suffering the ill effects of a three mile hike in +90°F temps. Still four stars but four sort of completely different stars. Today we're pleased with the beer garden which, being indoors, is more of an atrium but is beer-able nonetheless; the garden chairs being out of doors for the day free to cavort and play off leash; and a lady on staff claiming to be from east of Nags Head, across the ocean - as if I didn't know that there be the dragons. Ha! Pleasant and friendly nurse catching me up on the planned festivities down town that evening including some sort of food truck delish-a-mission derby and Pokemon go-round-up-your-friends-and-family-and-come-down-town thing. Nice place to stop and wet your whistle, pretty sure I'll be back, just not sure when.

I came to On Tap with some friends for "The Office" Trivia on a Thursday Night and had a blast. The beer selection is fantastic and I got to try a Milkshake IPA for the first time. It was delicious and something I'd never heard of. Nice to see a cool unique rotating bar. The staff was super accommodating of the large crowd that came out for Trivia. They opened up their backroom and one of the bartenders ran his computer off a second screen so that we could see the questions. Super fun and friendly spot in Mooresville. I'd definitely go back. They do not serve food, but they seemed cool about letting people bring in their own things.

What a GREAT addition to downtown Mooresville. Couple of Seattle peeps built a gem here! Great staff (props to Trevor) and knowledgeable on the beer. Hope they attract the business they need!

There's nothing to dislike about this place. Housed in an old bank, this establishment pays homage to their yesteryears and gives you the feel of a modern, hip bar at the same time. They offer rotating taps of local beers and always provide friendly service. There's even a beer point card! The back "beer garden" is a super cute indoor space with vining vegetation and plenty of greenery to bring the outdoors inside. Definitely give this place a stop if you're in Mooresville!

Back "beer garden" lounge. So comfy and cute!

We just found our favorite hang out spot downtown! This place has a great selection of beers and even some nice wines on tap! We came by on Saturday night during a live music session. The front was a little bit stuffy (warm) and the music a touch too loud, but ordering was easy and we were able to retreat to the rear "beer garden". The back is so cozy and nice! We met some really funny folks in the back and enjoyed watching the looped man drinking whisky by the fireplace on the TV lol. After a couple of drinks, we went back up front to pay up. By that time the music was over and the temp was comfortable again. Music switched over to current music videos projected on the wall. So if you like beer and live music or wine and a cozy couch to hang out on, this is the spot to check out. Can't wait to come back! ** Love love love that they have Dreaming Tree wine on tap - hope it stays that way **

Great bar, nice selection of beer, friendly service, comfortable seating options.

Great local brew pub. Service was great. The bartender gave great recommendations! Very little to no food though. Everything was frozen.

Suitcase Social Club Dispatch No. 47: "Timmy vs. The Lumberjacks"…read more If you've ever wondered what happens when a grown man with sales quotas, a mild caffeine imbalance, and the attention span of a golden retriever discovers competitive lumberjack sports streaming on the bar TV... well, allow me to submit Exhibit A. I wandered into Main Street Bar & Eatery for what was supposed to be a "quick bite between quotes." Instead, I became spiritually welded to a barstool while the TV blasted a man in flannel yeeting a chainsaw like it owed him money. And the fried pickles. Good grief. Those things ambushed me. One minute I'm thinking "I'll just have a snack," and the next I'm waist-deep in a basket of fried circles of temptation, crunching my way into oblivion while pretending to "work." My laptop was open, sure, but let's not lie to ourselves -- I got absolutely nothing done. I was too busy yelling advice at professional lumberjacks like I'd trained for this moment my whole life. Tim the Suitcase Regular Rating Breakdown: * Atmosphere: Cozy but with the unpredictable energy of a log-rolling final * Food: Fried pickles that could ruin a man's productivity in the best possible way * Service: Friendly, fast, and kindly nonjudgmental of whatever fever dream I was living in * Entertainment: 10/10 involuntary lumberjack immersion If you're looking for a place where you can lose an entire afternoon under the noble banner of "I swear I'm still working", Main Street Bar & Eatery is the arena. Suitcase Social Club™ stamp of approval: Earned.

At the time we arrived, it was self seating, but we found a table easy and a waitress came up immediately. She was a lovely lady, polite and efficient. She apologized that the pub was short staffed but any extra wait we had wasn't noticed. My husband had the 1877 Cheeseburger with Coleslaw. The burger was super juicy and flavorful. The coleslaw was good. I had the Buffalo Bomb and paid a little extra to have it as a wrap. It was So Good. Stuffed full, and the wrap was tender. Saucy but just the right amount of sauce. I had the White Cheddar macaroni and cheese as my side and it was satisfyingly good. Honestly, walking in? I had no idea what I wanted to eat. But what I ordered and ate was exactly was I was wanting. Hah! Even the portion sizes were just right and priced very appropriately. The bar portion of the pub looked quite lively and there was an upstairs that I wasn't able to check out. The bathrooms were one-seaters, but were roomy and accessible and very clean. I definitely recommend this pub if you are in the area for a drink and some good food.
