Every time I visit the scratch everything goes smooth. It just makes you feel good knowing everyone knows you.

I would give no stars if I could. I had an auto loan with Jolt under an uninsured driver totaled my car. Instead of working with me and making sure all my gap policies were credited, they started charging me for late payments. They closed my checking, savings and auto accounts so I don't even know hor much I owe. The accident occurred on April 6th. From what I heard last, there was approximately $400 left after the last gap payment. They erroneously got my pension due to a date error. That was 321. Plus I still had some funds in there. They are reporting that I owe $992. Last week, they informed me that had taken out an insurance policy on the car at my expense. NEVER USE THIS CREDIT UNION UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S CRIME. I worked at the phone company. These businesses write these amounts off everyday as nuisance. Good luck out there. We all need to call out these criminals.​​ read more

They are hard to get a loan from, even with good standing credit. Stopped trying and went to other credit unions with no problems, and they got paid in time and my business. Never had any problems with my other banking stuff. read more

Have been with this CU a long time and no issues until the last time they changed there online banking systems. It used to work like clockwork and I had no issues with the system. Now it just seems to like to wait on payments and randomly run them through at various times which screws up my schedule, not helpful at all, especially when it was so good before. Just fed up here looking to move my direct deposit to another place. read more

No clue what's ever happening. Can't give you answers. Refuse to service you unless it's their way. Management doesn't exist and just makes excuses if you can even get hold of them. Rates are crap and well below competitors. Also treat their employees horribly. There's a reason they're tanking and turnover is sky high. read more

I have never been treated better by any bank as an individual. My loan officer went above and beyond by listening to my circumstances both good and bad. Overall she seen the overall picture of my circumstances and my loan was approved by my hard work. Thank you again. read more

I've had several encounters at Jolt on State St over the past year, and each one, including today, was friendly and professional. Shout out to Jordin who handles my issues and accounts professionally and friendly. She is a sincere customer service rep who will help and solve your problem with class. I never feel rushed and am happy to bank with Jolt whether I'm visiting Saginaw or from home in Virginia. My questions and emails are handled promptly. WORST FINANCIAL INSTITUTION EVER.... LOAN DEPT IS HORRIBLE. How this credit union survives is beyond me. They already shut one branch down. Beware, loan dept don't take rental income into consideration. They don't help there members at all. Numerous times. Whoever makes the loan decisions is horrible home and personal. read more

Absolutely one of the worst, if not the worst banking institutions ever!!!! I have been with them many years, before my son was even born. FIFTEEN plus years. Its like pulling teeth to get anything accomplished. However, it seems I remain because I hate to have burned those years. It may be time to finally cut ties. good lord!!! I would assign this place a negative rating if I could. My friend had a car loan with the credit union and died before she paid it off. I notified the credit union of her death and they continued to bill her, AND reported her to a credit union for non-payment of the bill! AFTER they knew she was DEAD. This business is willing to trash the name and reputation of an elderly dead woman. She's not here to defend herself and they apparently don't care. Be sure you are prepared to defend yourself if things go wrong, because they will hunt you down, even, apparently, into the afterlife! read more

I've been a member at Jolt/Catholic Federal Credit Union altogether for 40+ years. In all that time, I've had a few isolated problems, but overall their service is great, and the staff is always courteous and helpful. When my son was in college, I took him in there to apply for a car loan, which I intended to cosign, after he'd been offered 12% interest at another bank. He had no credit rather than bad credit because he routinely paid cash. They approved him for a loan at 6% interest with no cosigner. A few years later, he refinanced his home through Catholic Federal and reduced his house payment by $200 per month. In 2018, he bought a new home and financed it through Catholic Federal at 3.5% interest. I must say that I hate the new name. read more

Horrible customer service. I expect their technology to be poor (as it is horrible and very difficult to use here) since it's a credit union. However, usually credit unions make up for it with their friendly service. Not here. They will not work with you, do not smile, and will not inform their customers. I came in the day before my wedding to cash checks before my honeymoon. They would not cash the checks because both my name and fiance's name were on the checks (even when they written Mr. 'or' Mrs.). I was there in person with my fiance and we both had multiple photo IDs. They would not cash the checks unless I spent 1 hour in order to add him to the account (at least 30 minutes waiting in line, and 30 minutes to add him). They let me speak to two managers- but then told me they do not have the ability to help me out, so I'd have to go back to the end of the line and wait to speak to someone else if I wanted to. They did not great me and they did not smile at all. They told me that I was wrong and any bank would give me this response. They were reassuring each other that they were right and I was wrong. We left and went right to Chase on State St. They greeted me, offered us coffee and cookies the employees made that morning, and let us speak to someone right away. They opened a new account, put all of the checks in the bank (a significant amount), and had us out the door in 10 minutes. read more

I was paying very high interest rates on 6 credit cards ... Catholic Federal gave me loan to pay them all off at an interest rate of 7. 999% down so much farther than the 29% rates..Also saved me 150.00 a month. I love my CFCU read more

We liked transferring our credit card balance to the 2.99% rate, so we thought we'd do a mortgage transfer from 4.5% to 2.875%. Well, by the time we were done with All the fees, we're saving about $19 per month. I wish they'd done a THOROUGH EXAMINATION of the outcome, before dragging us through the process for this! read more
