    The lovely box

Gee whiz. I could smell the divine aroma of the chocolates right through my mask. Service was very friendly and the owner was nice enough to give me a butter crunch chocolate while I decided, which was really good and so appreciated! I heard some customers raving about the marshmallow chocolates, so I decided to mix it up a bit and get chocolate covered vanilla marshmallows in addition to the marzipans, which are my go to. Not being able to contain myself, I opened the box on my walk home to sample the goodies. The vanilla marshmallow chocolate surprised me in the best way. It wasn't like that gooey marshmallow, but instead was so light and airy and just melted in my mouth. I found a new favorite and I'm looking forward to trying the s'mores marshmallow. Highly recommend!

Got an assortment of chocolates as a gift. Every piece was a surprise! Particularly enjoyed the nuts dipped in milk chocolate. The milk chocolate was the start of the show for me. So velvety and creamy. Just a perfect touch of delicate sweetness. Could've ate a whole bucketful of that milk chocolate. I'm a sucker for milk chocolate, but have to admit that even dark chocolate was delicious--rich and creamy, with a touch of bitterness and acidity. Freshly made chocolate makes a great treat. Indulge in some creations and don't count the calories for once in your life.

I've been coming here for years for my chocolate needs. I like to make chocolate lollipops for special occasions, so I'll usually just drop by JoMart. It's $6 a pound for Merckens chocolate, so it's slightly more expensive than the pre-packaged ones at craft stores, but the quality is MUCH better here. Depending on your mold size, a pound should make 12-15 lollipops. It's the perfect amount if you're only planning on making a small batch. They also sell lots of other things as well, like the molds and other candy-making supplies. They make their own chocolate candies too, so if you're in the market for something specific, they'll probably have it. And if not, you can probably have it custom-made. Tip - they have a rewards program here so once you sign up for it, just remember to give your phone # each time you make a purchase!

    Bonbons

JoMart Chocolates are delicious, consistent, and beautiful. I was sent the mixed chocolates for my birthday, and they arrived perfectly intact. The flavors are perfect, and the chocolate is such high quality. The bonbons are as yummy as they are pretty. They have unique flavor combinations that are so good. I haven't been in the store for some time, but the staff was always friendly and knowledgeable. The bonbons arrived with an ice pack that kept the chocolates cool but not frozen. This is the kind of care your chocolates get when you buy from JoyMart. I can't speak to the ambiance of the store, but this is a high-end business with a deserved reputation for excellence.

    Chocolate covered strawberries...yummm

I wanted to send chocolate covered strawberries to my husband to celebrate a milestone in his treatment. I was not able to pick them up and I wanted to make it a surprise. JoMart and the staff were absolutely amazing. From Emily, who took the order to Michael the owner who was able to make it that they were delivered to my husband, they were amazing from beginning to end. I highly recommend them and this company. Thank you so much!!!

    1 pound of assorted chocolate

A friend of ours had brought us some chocolates from this place. I'll start my review with taste, quality, and lastly costumer service. Taste: the taste of the assorted chocolates we ordered were good. I like the fact the ingredient weren't overpowering over each other, at times that can happen. However depending on the taste theme example: orange flavor-you would want to taste the flavor of the orange. So depending on the chocolate you choose flavor can be overwhelming or underwhelming. 3/5 Quality: chocolates themselves are aesthetically good. Nothing fancy. You'll see the shaping of the chocolate based on the craftsmanship of the chocolatier. 2/5 Costumer service: we drive from Queens about 40 minutes to this store. We were in the mood for some sweets and once we arrived we walked in and said "hello", the counter lady did not reply. Manners out the window real quick. We were looking at the different assortments of chocolate because if we're going to spend $36 a pound we want to see the selection. The counter lady again said "are you ready?!" We haven't been in the store for 5 minutes. As we were selecting the chocolate her cellphone rang, she did not excuse herself as she left us there midway speaking about the selection. As we completed our purchase the lady did not say "thank you" nothing. We instead said thank you twice and she did not reply by any means. 0/5 It's unfortunate that this was our experience we had and what's more unfortunate is that providing terrible customer service can and will hurt your business. My advice to the owner is to reevaluate your employees as they can make or break your business. I could have easily gone somewhere else and felt good about the purchase but moving forward we will not be returning again.

We ordered one strawberry and one strawberry banana crêpe. They were filled with strawberries and bananas, and the outside was drizzled with glorious Nutella, which is a hazelnut chocolate sauce . The banana and strawberry not so much as to me that didn't really have much of a taste, but maybe that was because the rest of it was super flavorful and over powered the fruit. Having a dessert spot in the neighborhood that is open late night and is serving flavors of our culture is nothing short of a dream come true. Not so great for my weight loss goals, though haha. Thank you, Moose. I came in here, and the place was absolutely buzzing, with groups of people enjoying their late night desserts- a testament to how much we needed this spot to just open and thrive and exist. I don't personally like cream Kenafa so I haven't really tried anything off their menu yet, but the Dubai chocolate crêpe is really calling out my name, and I am just going to bite the bullet and try it one of these days. I did go in to sample their Dubai chocolate. As a chocoholic, I am on a low-key search for the best Dubai chocolate bar in the city. This bar did not disappoint. The filling to chocolate ratio was perfect. However, I do feel that there is an over balance of crispy kanafa in the filling. I think it could use more pistachio cream and be a little on the runnier side. Can't wait to come back and try that crêpe. Until I am able to make that trip back, do stop in and enjoy a sweet treat in this cute little dessert shop. It's also Palestinian owned so you know you are supporting the right people and the right cause while satisfying that sweet tooth craving. What more could a customer ask for?

I saw tours, gluten free bakery items, and tasting room info advertised online, but turns out this was probably outdated info. So when we walked into the warehouse/tasting room we learned those weren't available after we saw some employees doing admin work and inquired. Would have appreciated more clarity about this online since we drove a ways to visit (I had previously tried to call the shop but couldn't get ahold of anyone; our gamble). However they sent someone out to help us at their merch bar and we were able to sample some delicious sea salt dark chocolate before purchasing a variety of bars. Extremely impressed with the coconut chunky, and I'm not even a huge coconut person. Would definitely go back again for that. The sweet pistachio spread was also incredible. Five star products. Really liked the decor and it was cool to see the actual operation happening in the background of the tasting room space. *Shoutout to Jeremy for gifting us a few bars with our purchase! While placing my order, I was briefly distracted by a phone call and accidentally said "white chocolate" instead of "milk chocolate." As soon as I realized the mistake--and knowing I'm allergic to white chocolate--I politely asked the sales associate if she could make it milk chocolate instead. I hadn't touched the cup, and it wasn't even handed to me yet. She looked at me as if I was asking for something unreasonable and told me I would have to pay for a whole new cup because it was "company policy." I asked to speak with a manager, hoping for some understanding, but what I got was a shockingly rude woman who immediately began raising her voice at me. She bluntly repeated that she would not make a new cup, even though I never picked up the original one and couldn't drink it due to my allergy. The unprofessionalism and lack of basic customer service were unbelievable. I was so frustrated and disappointed that I walked out and left the drink behind without receiving a refund or even an apology. I will never be returning to this Prince Soho location. The store manager was extremely rude, and the way the situation was handled was completely unacceptable. This used to be one of my favorite places, but after this experience, I'm done.
