The receipt and the weight do not mesh
    Tina M M.

I really didn't want to write a review but felt that I had to. So jomart I have one question.... Is there something wrong with the scale? I asked for a pound of chocolate disks which was $19 a pound and 5 almond butter crunch, you heard me 5 pieces $7.14. If I was not in a rush to go to lunch at Michael's I would have gotten a refund. Look at my pictures, both items were short the weight. To be honest I try to support the mom and pop stores but can make the butter crunch myself and get the chocolates on Amazon. I can see if your short weight a bit but really????

Got an assortment of chocolates as a gift. Every piece was a surprise! Particularly enjoyed the nuts dipped in milk chocolate. The milk chocolate was the start of the show for me. So velvety and creamy. Just a perfect touch of delicate sweetness. Could've ate a whole bucketful of that milk chocolate. I'm a sucker for milk chocolate, but have to admit that even dark chocolate was delicious--rich and creamy, with a touch of bitterness and acidity. Freshly made chocolate makes a great treat. Indulge in some creations and don't count the calories for once in your life.

I've been coming here for years for my chocolate needs. I like to make chocolate lollipops for special occasions, so I'll usually just drop by JoMart. It's $6 a pound for Merckens chocolate, so it's slightly more expensive than the pre-packaged ones at craft stores, but the quality is MUCH better here. Depending on your mold size, a pound should make 12-15 lollipops. It's the perfect amount if you're only planning on making a small batch. They also sell lots of other things as well, like the molds and other candy-making supplies. They make their own chocolate candies too, so if you're in the market for something specific, they'll probably have it. And if not, you can probably have it custom-made. Tip - they have a rewards program here so once you sign up for it, just remember to give your phone # each time you make a purchase!

    Bonbons

JoMart Chocolates are delicious, consistent, and beautiful. I was sent the mixed chocolates for my birthday, and they arrived perfectly intact. The flavors are perfect, and the chocolate is such high quality. The bonbons are as yummy as they are pretty. They have unique flavor combinations that are so good. I haven't been in the store for some time, but the staff was always friendly and knowledgeable. The bonbons arrived with an ice pack that kept the chocolates cool but not frozen. This is the kind of care your chocolates get when you buy from JoyMart. I can't speak to the ambiance of the store, but this is a high-end business with a deserved reputation for excellence.

    Chocolate covered strawberries...yummm

I wanted to send chocolate covered strawberries to my husband to celebrate a milestone in his treatment. I was not able to pick them up and I wanted to make it a surprise. JoMart and the staff were absolutely amazing. From Emily, who took the order to Michael the owner who was able to make it that they were delivered to my husband, they were amazing from beginning to end. I highly recommend them and this company. Thank you so much!!!

    1 pound of assorted chocolate

A friend of ours had brought us some chocolates from this place. I'll start my review with taste, quality, and lastly costumer service. Taste: the taste of the assorted chocolates we ordered were good. I like the fact the ingredient weren't overpowering over each other, at times that can happen. However depending on the taste theme example: orange flavor-you would want to taste the flavor of the orange. So depending on the chocolate you choose flavor can be overwhelming or underwhelming. 3/5 Quality: chocolates themselves are aesthetically good. Nothing fancy. You'll see the shaping of the chocolate based on the craftsmanship of the chocolatier. 2/5 Costumer service: we drive from Queens about 40 minutes to this store. We were in the mood for some sweets and once we arrived we walked in and said "hello", the counter lady did not reply. Manners out the window real quick. We were looking at the different assortments of chocolate because if we're going to spend $36 a pound we want to see the selection. The counter lady again said "are you ready?!" We haven't been in the store for 5 minutes. As we were selecting the chocolate her cellphone rang, she did not excuse herself as she left us there midway speaking about the selection. As we completed our purchase the lady did not say "thank you" nothing. We instead said thank you twice and she did not reply by any means. 0/5 It's unfortunate that this was our experience we had and what's more unfortunate is that providing terrible customer service can and will hurt your business. My advice to the owner is to reevaluate your employees as they can make or break your business. I could have easily gone somewhere else and felt good about the purchase but moving forward we will not be returning again.

They have chocolate, vanilla, banana, and pistachio flavors, but employees mentioned the banana flavor was most popular. They suggested a double swirl so I could also try the pistachio soft serve. You may also add toppings for an extra 50 cents or do a chocolate or cherry dip for an extra $1. If you pay cash, it's a little cheaper ($5.50 per cone).
