Still extremely confused im just looking at her, dumbfounded. She then says, very abrasively, "well did you drive?? Go wait in your car! My client is still here!" So naturally, I left. When asked how to fix this the representative said "we will just take 2x the taxes out of the next paycheck for everyone... um excuse me NO that's NOT how that works!! The representative did nothing to help and was super rude and condescending. So my supervisor had to tell everyone to set money aside for taxes that will be taken out 2 weeks from now because paper trail couldn't do their job. How stupid is that?! Never had any issues until now with paper trail and to me this one is unacceptable when you are doing payroll taxes are a huge part. That's like having steak and potatoes with no potatoes. The process for this is long and a little complicated (to me, at least), with lots of moving parts, and I got stuck dead in the water on getting insurance for alcohol service. I sent emails and made phone calls to MANY companies - some said they didn't carry this type of policy, others didn't even return my calls or emails. Finally the day before the deadline which would cost me all the time, money and effort I'd put into this licensing process, I contacted the Hart Insurance office in Grants Pass, Oregon and they immediately responded. Within about an hour they found me a policy, got it approved and got me proof of insurance. I sent that in and then was told I needed another type of form proving the insurance. I sent an email to Hart Insurance this morning and had that form within just minutes. Without all their help, I wouldn't get this license, I'd have to start over and pay more fees that I can't afford, and lose more of my scant supply of marbles.
