Unfortunately, they do a kind of X Ray that my insurance does not cover, but did pay 25% of. I called them about it and although the receptionist was nice and got more clarity from calling my insurance company, she discovered I am on a new plan they didn't know about. So, my opinion is that staff should always learn the new policies and coverages so a new patient like me, doesn't get stuck with a bill that is almost $100. Because no matter what, I am still responsible for paying it. Not cool.

He is very knowledgeable, as well as personable. Sadly, he was not wearing a costume, so I did judge him a bit. ;-) He gave me options as far as future treatments were concerned, and I appreciated that he was suggesting, not ordering. After receiving the temporary denture I had to go back several times to get tweaks and they took me right in and fixed whatever the problem was. I loved getting a temporary denture while my gums continued to shrink over the next six months. At last it was time to get the permanent denture and the technician that helped me pick out the teeth I wanted was wonderful. He was very patient, and fixed my teeth just the way I wanted them. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with Aspen Dental and would highly recommend them to anyone. Dr Christy is the first dentist I've been to (and I'm 65) that listens to you and gives individualized compassionate care. She explains everything in detail and considers your input. You ultimately make the decision about your treatment. Allie (her restorative assistant) is better than some NPs and PAs in medicine. She is so knowledgeable and a perfectionist too! She is definitely Dr Christy's other right hand. I feel very grateful that I finally found Dr Christy. My mouth is finally getting straightened out thanks to her.

Appointments are very easy to get, prices are in line, receptionist is warm and friendly and of course we love our hygienist. One of the great things is the Dr. here will work out a plan for you on your future care with each issue tackled based on priority and affordability. I have never had a dentist take that approach. I have gone to other dentist who want to drill where there is no cavity. (It happens. Another dentist explained that sometimes unscrupulous dentists "...have a Mercedes payment due.") Other Doctors I could tell simply wrote me off, not telling me about work I need because they supposed I could not afford it. With a plan now, I know that over time I can afford to maintain and actually keep my teeth as I mature.
