Dr. Nelson is incredible, professional and nice at the same time. He explained my options clearly. He also explained the procedure I would have, leaving assured and confident. The day of surgery was so organized. The women on the team were efficient and warm. Making sure I was comfortable. Dr Nelson went over everything again. And before I knew it I was home! She was thorough & professional, while still maintaining a personable manner! Great sense of humor! Third, Dr. Ashton was also pretty terrific, in spite of the fact that he's missing a rib. He is very knowledgeable, as well as personable. Sadly, he was not wearing a costume, so I did judge him a bit. ;-) He gave me options as far as future treatments were concerned, and I appreciated that he was suggesting, not ordering. The overall experience was a TOTAL A+, a 14.72 out of 10, and totally off the charts wonderful! If you've had bad experiences in the past, it's time to change to Hendersonville Family Dental. I just had my wisdom teeth extracted today at Asheville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Since a…read morechild I have always been extremely afraid of doctor visits, especially needles. Today's surgery was a huge accomplishment for me and will set a better tone for future medical procedures. My initial consultation with Dr. Hussain went very well. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and I left feeling confident enough to schedule my surgery. On surgery day I was extremely nervous, extremely. Off the bat the receptionists calmed my nerves with their sweet smiles and affirmations. The technician/surgeons assistant, Emily guided me to the surgery room and got me all set up.She described every step which helps so much so that I knew what to expect. She was very kind and thoughtful. She is great at her job and I wish her the best in her medical career. A few other people passed through who very also very kind and helped to lighten the mood. Dr. Hussain came in to start surgery and talked me through things to help calm me. Before you know it I was knocked out and didn't even know it. Emily rolled me out to our car and now I am home recovering. I feel great and am going to take all the recommended steps to recover well. I hope this helps anyone with anxiety around this sort of thing. The staff and doctors are wonderful. Thank you. I forgot to mention the environment is very homey, comfortable, welcoming and smells clean and wonderful which always helps!

He is very professional and caring. I have always felt that he looks out for what is best for the patient. I am 50 years old and can say out of the many dentists that I have been to he is by far the most general I have had. Recently we had an emergency situation during nonbusiness hours. We reached out to Doctor Wasson him and he immediately called us back and arranged to meet us at his office. Hey took such good care of my son during this visit and put all of us at ease. Three months before my first appointment I asked them to check my insurance coverage because it's out of state. They refused and said that they would do that a month before the appointment ... if I reminded them. I did remind them at the one-month mark, and they could not navigate my insurance company's authorization process. My previous dentist had been doing it fine for four years so it's squarely a problem at Embark Dental. Three days before the appointment they asked me to send pictures of my insurance card, which I did. But it wasn't until the morning of the appointment that they texted me to say that they (mistakenly) thought my insurance only covered medical. That's an odd assumption considering that my insurance company had been paying my dental bills for the previous four years. When I arrived at their office, they still had not managed the simple navigation of a Blue Shield insurance agency. They wanted me to give them a credit card. They were basically saying that since they were so incompetent that they could not determine that I was actually covered for dental, they wanted to be able to tag my credit card to cover their inabilities. Then they wanted to digitize my driver's license. I am a former designated security officer for the Air Force, I have spent my whole life in high tech, and I know that digitized IDs are the new form of ID theft. When I declined to let them digitize my driver's license, they said that would be a requirement. I left. Save yourself the problem of leaving their office by not going there to begin with. You'll also save yourself a ton of unnecessary aggravation.
